Consumer Complaint: I have not had a XXXX account since XXXX and yet they reported me as having a debt that was turned in to collections in XXXX of XXXX for {$280.00}. I have not reached out to them because I don't have an account with them to verify who I am. The debt they are trying to collect has got to be identity theft or something because I have had a XXXX XXXX cell phone from XXXX for several years now. I can show records of my payments to XXXX XXXX through my bank because it gets automatically taken out. The collection agency that is on my credit report is called XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: This account was opened in XX/XX/XXXX and I had a {$400.00} credit limit. It was paid off completely of on XX/XX/XXXX ; payments totaled {$570.00}. I closed the account due to the high interest rate they charge on top of overpriced items. XXXX reflects a {$0.00} balance on my credit report, which is accurate, but also states that it was charged off and now a collection agency is reporting a balance as of XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$940.00}. If the account was closed with a zero balance in XXXX, how can there be a balance as of XX/XX/XXXX ... .5 years later of {$940.00}? XXXX and Jefferson Capital System both need to remove their fraudulent remarks from my credit. XXXX is owned by XXXX XXXX XXXX according to the XXXX XXXX XXXX website and as of XX/XX/XXXX the business filed Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy, case # XXXX. Out of XXXX Reviews on XXXX, their rating is a XXXX out of XXXX, have received XXXX complaints in the last 3 years ; 512 of which were closed in the last year. Jefferson Capital has received XXXX complaints in the last 3 years and XXXX complaints in the last year. Out of XXXX Customer Reviews, they have a XXXX out of XXXX on XXXXXXXX. This should speak volumes about how they conduct business. I saw a ton of affilitations between XXXX account and Jefferson Captial Systems. This company XXXX XXXX XXXX brags about helping people " build a better credit future '' but all they are doing is ruining their credit. They charge ridiculous interest rates and charge you double for the item. For example, they are currently selling a handheld game console called the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the color Coral. It is being sold at XXXX for {$310.00}. However, XXXX has the exact same item, in the exact same color for {$190.00}. XXXX has the exact same item as well and the same color and are selling it for the same price as XXXX for {$190.00}. This is NOT ok!!! They, by their own admission charge XXXX % interest on top of these over priced items.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX has it documented that I opened this account in 2019. Absolutely false! I never initiated an account in 2019! After my bankruptcy I knew I couldnt get credit anywhere! I wish these credit reporting agencies STOP REPORTING FALSE INACCURATE information to keep scores low! I was never in contact with said debtor ANY time in 2019! I had absolutely NO credit in 2019 nor did I apply for ANY credit in 2019! I have screenshots to what XXXX has posted and WISH they would QUIT CHANGING DATES on accounts I did NOT SIGN on said dates!!! That is ILLEGAL that is a total violation of my fair credit reporting! That is NOT my account I never initiated an account with a XXXX XXXX XXXX at no time in 2019! XXXX just reports and post anything in attempts to hurt scores and reports! What ever account you have, its the wrong account because I was never in contact with the debtor in 2019!

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with XXXX XXXX that went to collections many years ago. I paid the company who obtained the account. Jefferson Capital Systems, Inc. They informed me that they would notify XXXX that the account was paid in full so XXXX could then report to the credit bureau that the account was paid. Instead, they never reported the pay off to XXXX so it is still sitting in my credit report as delinquent. This needs to be updated as it is the only thing showing negative on my credit report and I am in the process of trying to buy a home. I have been fighting with this company for almost 2 years to report this to XXXX. I have submitted a complaint to you previously in regards to XXXX but I was directed to the FDIC because they are a XXXX. I filed a complaint with them to no avail as they directed me back to XXXX. I am being sent in circles. This needs to be addressed and fixed. Under the fair reporting act I have a right to have accurate information reported on my credit report. I don't know what else to do or who to turn to at this point. Jefferson Capital Systems , Inc. will not do as they promised, nor will they help me with this.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an XXXX account to double check my credit report. There was an acct for a Jefferson Capital. I disputed it. XXXX IMMEDIATELY said they validated the account. I then launched a full on dispute with all 3 credit companies. I can not produce anything BECAUSE I DONT OWE THEM ANYTHING. I HAVE ZERO IDEA WHERE THIS ORIGINATES FROM OR WHAT. Apparently, XXXX sold an old XXXX acct ( which I did not do not owe ) to this company. I want copies of anything and everything that proves I owe this bill. I want this matter closed out from my credit report immediately and I want XXXX to produce whatever documents they used to verify this account. Otherwise, Im prepared to sue them both over this! I've been doing what I'm supposed to be doing to clean and clear and for them to immediately say " oh, yeah, you owe this ... '' is absolute XXXX XXXX. Thank you. Consumer Complaint: I have for some time disputed Jefferson Capital about balance incorrect information and incorrect charge off dates and account information. To no avail I get the same response Verified Accuracy. Then decided to dispute again. XX/XX/XXXX Sent in dispute on XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX and XXXX and XXXX replied back on disputes as Verified Accuracy and the entire process took less than a week. They did send one charge statement that appeared to be doctored up and so decided to dispute this actions with a new letter of dispute mailed to all three credit agencies XX/XX/XXXX because Jefferson Capital decided to retaliate against me for initial dispute in XX/XX/XXXX dispute and XX/XX/XXXX XXXX account showed Account was Flagged For Collections and this was happening often like every other day tanking my credit scores down 60 points each on all three credit reports. Then they fraudulently reported NEW Collection Accounts were showing up with charge offs dating XXXX!!! What!!!!! This also lowered my credit down even more and the number of collections were up by four more additional. Jefferson Calital was refreshing older debts and creating new collection accounts using existing collections and changing account numbers and so I called them and they were unhelpful and rude and I called XXXX and they said they didn't receive anything from Jefferson Capital that my second dispute clearly ask for proof and they failed to submit what was specifically asked and could not produce and nor did they delete these accounts as per FCRA regulations.
