Consumer Complaint: I am XXXX XXXX and I am submitting this complaint myself and there is no third party involved. Upon reviewing my updates the JEFFCAPSYS ( Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and JEFFERSNCP were found on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. I tried contacting XXXX and XXXX Credit Bureaus requesting a complete payment history with this account for me to review the exact date on which the late payments and collection were posted. Unfortunately, there was no successful resolution provided nor feedback heard from the concerned Bureaus. There was definitely an error on their part and failed to comply with air Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC sections 1681i within the time set forth by law, and continued reporting of unverified information which now, given all my attempts to address it directly with the creditor, as willful negligence and non-compliance with federal statutes.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX, from Jefferson Capital ( dated XX/XX/XXXX ), alleging that I owe a debt that to XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$380.00}. I had XXXX in XXXX and early XXXX, so I sent them a validation letter on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX, advising I had 14 days to tell them what I was disputing. I have never received a response from Jefferson Capital. This is interesting, because I asked Jefferson Capital to validate the debt and send me a copy of the written agreement bearing my signature, to provide all the contact information regarding the original creditor, provide proof of the amount and age of the alleged debt. Is XXXX XXXX XXXX the same as XXXX XXXX XXXX? Because my credit report is showing XXXX XXXX XXXX I am unclear as to if this is the same company which is a violation of the law. A day later ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I received another letter ( dated XX/XX/XXXX as well ) with some statements from XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX that had my name on it sent to a po box in Georgia that I do not recognize from XXXX XXXX XXXX, but they have yet to provide the original contract, or any original agreement with my signature that created a requirement for me to pay the alleged debt. I was living in in Arizona at the time these invoices were created. A week later ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I received another letter dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX, stating that they are unsure of what my dispute is about. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received another letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX, advising that I was not specific with my dispute. I do not not recognize this alleged debt that is being reported on my credit report and so I sent another letter asking them to validate the debt by providing the original written agreement bearing my signature for the 2 accounts showing up on my credit report. I have not received it. At this point, they are sending me letters every 2 days and it is becoming harassment.

Consumer Complaint: I'm getting a collections notice from Jefferson Capital Systems trying to collect an old phone bill of {$150.00} from XXXX. I had cancelled before the invoice date started for the next month. I paid the previous month and called as soon as I paid the pervious month to cancel my service indefinitely. So way before the invoice starting date. I spoke to a woman on the phone who said she would take me off no problem and there would be no fees. now suddenly, I was attempting to buy a car and 3 years later my credit score drops 100 points for something I don't even owe.
