Consumer Complaint: I have been contacted and threatened by Jefferson Capital Systems twice about a debt from 2017 on a XXXX debit card account. I had paid the debt years ago, and confirmed that by calling XXXX directly to ensure that they had record of the debt being paid, which they did confirm. They said that there was not a balance. This is the second seperate time that XXXX has attempted to collect the debt after it was paid. The first time was a few years ago, and I provided the payment details that XXXX had confirmed. They continued to harass me but after I told them I would report it, they stopped. Now they are doing it again, by USPS and also now by telephone.

Consumer Complaint: I just noticed in an email from XXXX XXXX that there's this collection on my credit report. I would like this to be removed from all 3 agency. I have never signed nor have i applied from a XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX when this card was open, I have proof. Which i will be attaching a police report. I couldn't XXXX or XXXX or XXXX nor hold a pen in my hand. I didn't sign nothing or provided my information to be used by no one while XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had to have help XXXX myself. I would like this remove from my credit report. I have never heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and also had other credit cards as well student loan for over {$80000.00} and XXXX card and Bank account in my name that's has been removed after receiving the police report as well my doctor hospital papers. Please Remove from my reports Thanks as Well I attached hospital paperwork in XXXX file. I XXXX XX/XX/2020, and I shouldn't have to go through this process on the count of Fraudulent cards and student loans open up in my name. It still feels like I'm in the XXXX dealing with these companies of removing fraudulent things.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, My XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter opened the door and was handed a paper. When she asked what is it he said he is unsure and left without a signature or verification of whom he handed the paperwork to. I looked at the paperwork and it says I am being sued by a debt collector I never heard of before Jefferson Capital Systems and an attorney named XXXX XXXX XXXX. Suing me for a XXXX XXXX that was wrongly taken out of my possession in XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX. My truck was paid off, I spoke to a rep that clearly stated I paid over XXXX for the truck and she didnt know why they were saying I still owed payments, There were payments missing and no one could explain where my money was going. I requested that they review my phone calls for each time I called in to make a payment. She said she would email me some paperwork showing the truck had been paid off once, and then payments just disappeared. Once I received the email and tried to reopen it to save it, it was no longer available, and a few days later I walked outside and the truck was gone. When I called them they said I would have to pay over XXXX to get it back. This company completely ripped me off, stole money and truck from me. Each time I tried to call them after that I would always be placed on long holds and no reply. I never heard from them again. Now almost 4 years later this collection agency that I have never received any communication from is trying to sue me over a janky company that steals money from people. I wasn't able to verify or validate anything before they decided to sue me. I don't know if they are able to legally collect this alleged debt or if they are trying to steal from me like XXXX XXXX XXXX. I feel completely violated and harassed and this doesn't look good on my profile. Debts are supposed to be validated and verified BEFORE they are allowed to sue you, according to new laws they aren't supposed to try to collect at all. They are not the original creditor and just trying to find a way to get money off of a scam. They didn't properly reach out to me beforehand because they know this debt is not owed and tried to find a illegal way to obtain money.

Consumer Complaint: During the time of XXXX I unknowingly had multiple upon multiple credit cards opened in my name. I am not the owner of this debt, nor did I ever apply to get these credit cards. I was under the age of XXXX at these times and did not even know what credit was or how to apply for a credit card, let alone go apply for over XXXX credit cards at the age of XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I highly suspect my personal information was stolen by my XXXX XXXX The reason I highly suspect he did this is because I lived in his house at the time as well as my mother and XXXX brother ( who also has a ruined XXXX XXXX because of XXXX XXXX committing identity theft ). Again I lived in his house during these times these credit cards were opened up, which means he had very easy access to my social security card as well as my birth certificate or any other extremely personal information he could use to falsely identify himself as me in order to get some easy money. My XXXX XXXX XXXX name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am willing to give any information about him or myself in order to fix my credit. This is not fair and I should not have to pay $ XXXX in collections for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX actions. I am willing to do whatever it takes to prove this wasn't my wrong doing.

Consumer Complaint: I recently reviewed my credit report from XXXX, XXXX XXXX. Unfortunately, I saw that you have recently began to report me 30 days late on this account on XX/XX/2022. I have previous credit reports from the above mentioned agencies that reflect my account accurately, as paid on time. I never received notice that you were going to insert negative data on my credit report, as you are required by the FCRA I contacted JEFFERSON CAPITAL regarding this debit and that I don't owe this and had a very default time.. FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 7 ) Negative Information ( A ) Notice to Consumer Required ( i ) In general. If any financial institution that extends credit and regularly and in the ordinary course of business furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 ( p ) furnishes negative information to such an agency regarding credit extended to a consumer, the financial institution shall provide a notice of such furnishing of negative information, in writing, to the consumer. ( ii ) Notice effective for subsequent submissions. After providing such notice, the financial institution may submit additional negative information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 ( p ) with respect to the same transaction, extension of credit, account, or customer without providing additional notice to the customer. ( B ) Time of Notice ( i ) In general. The notice required under subparagraph ( A ) shall be provided to the customer prior to, or no later than 30 days after, furnishing the negative information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 ( p ). ( ii ) Coordination with new account disclosures. If the notice is provided to the customer prior to furnishing the negative information to a consumer reporting agency, the notice may not be included in the initial disclosures provided under section 127 ( a ) of the truth in Lending Act. Reporting inaccurate information is also a violation of the FCRA. I first contacted the above mentioned consumer reporting agency about the mistake. They sent me a letter stating you verified the information. How is this possible? I would like you to actually look into my account history this time and not just send an automated verified response! After doing so you will see that I was not 30 days late on XX/XX/2022, The FCRA allows for damages of {$1000.00} per violation. So far you have violated my rights three times Twice by never notifying me and once for reporting inaccurate information. I could surely use the {$30000.00} bucks since the interest rates on my other credit cards raised due to you error, not to mention the priceless cost of my time writing these letters. PEASE SEE ATTACH DOCUMENTS

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft and have enclosed a copy of my police report/identity theft report, a copy of my driver 's license and social security card as proof of my identity, plus proof of my current address. I am writing to request that you place an immediate block on the following fraudulent information in my credit file within 4 days upon receipt of this correspondence. I have recently obtained a copy of my credit file and the information does not relate to any transactions that I have made ; therefore, I am requesting that these accounts be completely removed and blocked from my credit file. This is not a regular dispute I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission to document being a victim of identity theft. Consumer Complaint: Someone signed up for multiple accounts on my name while I was XXXX and even has another social security number, my ID information as well. -Jefferson Capital for XXXX XXXX The police report has been done and the account was removed from my credit report but its back. Also, XXXX XXXX simple has been ruining my credit for years. Company sold me faulty merchandise, I returned it and it still has a negative mark on my credit report.
