Consumer Complaint: I've been contacting Citizens Bank ( as well as XXXX ) to resolve issues pertaining to XXXX Loan " co-signer '' release since XX/XX/XXXX. I received notice on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached ) from XXXX stating that " Citizens-Bank owned loans as cosigner was removed effective XXXXbecause Citizens Bank approved your ( my ) request for Total and Permanent XXXX. '' As of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, all three credit bureaus have listed accounts as past due ( XXXX ) which GREATLY impacting my credit score ( s ). I need help with getting this action resolved per their notification I received and that my credit score be corrected. Thanks for all you do.

According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), the term person is defined broadly, including entities such as Citizens Bank. Reference : 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) Explanation : This section establishes the broad definition of person under the FCRA, encompassing entities like Citizens Bank. It serves as the foundation for disputing the reporting of late payments by such entities. Furthermore, under 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ), a consumer report excludes information about transactions solely between the consumer and the reporting entity, subject to section 1681s3 of the FCRA. As such, reporting late payments as transactions is a violation. Reference : 15 USC 1681s3 Explanation : This section outlines the responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies, emphasizing the requirement for accuracy. It supports the argument that transactions solely between the consumer and the reporting entity should not be reported under this section. In accordance with SC Code Ann. 39-5-10 et seq., which prohibits unfair or deceptive practices and acts, the illegal reporting of late payments corresponds with this law. Consumer Complaint: This is a formal complaint against the terminally XXXX chief of the XXXX XXXX XXXX Citizens Bank branch XXXX XXXX, who is so incompetent that she can not even read or receive emails wherein I have sent her several times formal notice of our XXXX XXXX bankruptcy filing for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX case no XXXX XXXXXXXX, so that she can stop harassing and collecting bank fees on a bank account that should be closed and not do this, as it violates the bankruptcy automatic stay under 111 USC 362 . Instead of honoring our request to open up a new bank account with our new tax ID number and new law firm corporate name, she wastes more than a week hemming and hawing and claiming that her " branch manager '' has to " get back to her '' but at the same time telling me that I must settle {$500.00} in illegal bank charges that should not even be assessed, as we filed for XXXX XXXX bankruptcy on XX/XX/2023, and Citizens Bank was duly notified as such electronically as a creditor notified to attend the XXXX creditor meeting on XX/XX/2023, which of course, they did not attend. Instead these federal law breaking imbeciles including her cohorts at the bank mouthbreathers XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and other XXXX working there feign ignorance and stupidity instead of just moving forward and allowing us to open a different checking account. Please investigate and advise.

On XX/XX/2023 I deposited a check in the amount of XXXX and it's been well over 90 days and the bank placed my check on hold and has not released my funds. I spoke to my attorney because the check was from a civil suit and was awarded to me for a accident I was in some years ago and he provided me with the canceled checks letting me know Citizens Bank cashed the check and took the funds out of the account from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I visited a 2 different branches and all I've been told was call the XXXX number on the back of my debit card which I did and to no resolve. I need some help with this matter because the check is still on hold months later.

Consumer Complaint: I used the ATM machine at Citizens Bank, on XX/XX/2023, The branch is located.at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, RI. I tried depositing {$4800.00}. The machine kept returning the money back, but I kept trying to complete the deposit, until I finally finished the deposit. I waited until next day to check on the account, and it was {$1300.00} short. I spoke person to person with the branch manager, XXXX XXXX, and he said it will be taken care of, and that there was an ATM malfunction and there was a lot of people affected. So, I went home and a few days later, I returned to the branch but this time I spoke with an assistant manager named XXXX, do not know her last name. She agreed with me that it was a bank error and apologized to me and told me that it takes 24 to 48 hours to return the money to the account. So, I left, and went back to the branch and spoke with a different assistant manager. This time the assistant said that it takes 45 to 90 days to solve the problem. So, I decided to get help since one manager said one thing and the other said something different. About a week later I received a letter stating that the there was no machine malfunction, and therefore, they will not return the funds to my account. Please investigate this, since there were a lot of people complaining like me and they probably got the same response from the bank.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to use an XXXX to cash and deposit a XXXX dollar work check. The teller who virtually assisted me at the XXXX said she did not have enough to cash and deposit the check in the ATM but would deposit the check. That same night, My funds were not reflecting in my account. I did not receive the check back and the money was deducted from my bosses bank account. I called Citizens Bank to submit a claim. After waiting for them to locate the check in the ATM, They submitted a claim and I was credited XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX was deducted from my account as a miscellaneous charge. When calling Citizens Bank, They stated I received double payment and that the claim I submitted had no fault found. I have attempted to work with them all week while my account sat negative with no results. Please note there at cameras at the ATMs and XXXX. There are records to show that I did not receive the XXXX deposit after giving them the check. Citizens bank is at fault here.

Once was for XXXX points which was worse than a bk on a credit second was just this past week for XXXX I pay attention to everything and you all can not get over on my. Please call the chairman and or whomever to pull all calls. Cancel my line of credit as XXXX is cancell and will be as of XX/XX/XXXX when they get their equipment. Then you all fix my credit and refund this line of credit. Learned my lesson with door to door sales no body should be paying for two separate things. The line of credit and the actual monitoring system. Thats a rip off anyhow. Ive mention to cancel and refund my line of credit and fix my report many times on calls and complaints. Again please.
