Consumer Complaint: I opened a checking account in XX/XX/XXXX. It was part of a promotion. If conditions were met, which were a certain amount of deposits and withdrawals, I would receive XXXX bonus miles on XXXX XXXX within 30 days of completing the requirements of the promotion. I did so on XX/XX/XXXX and I have yet to receive the miles. My husband opened a checking account as well on XXXX. He met the requirements on XX/XX/XXXX and he has also not received the bonus miles. In the terms and conditions of the promotion, it states clearly in bold face that the miles would be credited within 30 days of meeting the requirements. The bank has been stonewalling me for almost 2 months. I was going to use these miles for a vacation in XXXX, which now is highly unlikely. I would think this is considered Fraudulent!!

Consumer Complaint: This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. More so they didn't follow the proper 5 step validation procedure which make this unfair practices. According to the FDCPA I'm entitled to XXXX dollars per violation and clearly they violated my rights.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement

Consumer Complaint: Solar was installed in XXXX of XXXX with a system ID of XXXX. Price was set at {$94.00} per month provided that the solar tax credits that I received from the state were given to XXXX by XXXX. The amount due at that date was {$8800.00}. I received a call on XXXX from a XXXX " rep '' telling me that I had a payment due of {$8800.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I questioned it and they asked me to go into my portal where I could see the payment due. I told them I did not have the money for it and put it on a credit card. My credit card was Citibank Mastercard. Within minutes of the payment I received an email saying " thanks for the early payoff ''. I called XXXX back XXXX minutes after the credit card payment was made and requested a refund. The customer service rep told me that the payment was pending and to call my credit card company and dispute it. I asked for a letter telling me that XXXX would not block the dispute. They sent me an email confirming that they would not be blocking the dispute and apologized for the bad information given to me by the representative that forced me to make the early payment. There was a case idea generated by XXXX with the number XXXX. Citibank instituted a conditional credit on my account while they investigated the issue. The case was prematurely closed due to a clerical issue on XXXX and the charge reappeared on my statement. The dispute was reopened on XXXX through Citibank Mastercard where I was finally able to provide documentation of what had transpired with XXXX. I called XXXX and escalated this issue as this was literally fraud ( my being told that this amount was due when I had almost a full year on the terms of that portion of the contract ). Someone named XXXX XXXX was assigned to the case and served as an advocated for me through their billing and collections department. XXXX has a billing department to which you can not reach. I have never heard of a billing department without a phone number. XXXX on a recorded line has told me that their customers do not have the ability to speak to their billing and collections department. While Citibank was investigating the dispute, XXXX and XXXX generated a " one time '' courtesy refund for the full amount of {$8800.00} to my bank account despite informing me that the refund would be generated back to the original payment method. Upon receiving this refund, I immediately called Citibank and informed them I had gotten a refund so they advised me to close the dispute and just pay the bill. At the closing of the dispute, the full charge of {$8800.00} reappeared on my statement on XXXX. I then paid in full on XXXX. Citibank is stating a transaction ID of XXXX where they reversed the charge and reimbursed XXXX. XXXX is stating that they never received the payment and has now issued an immediate bill for the {$8800.00} again. This bill in currently due and interest and late fees might be assessed if not paid immediately. Neither Citibank nor XXXX will help me figure out where the money went between Citi and XXXX. Citi is maintaining that my statement of their reversal is good enough documentation that the funds were released to XXXX. XXXX is saying that they don't have the funds, period. In the interim I have requested that XXXX disable my auto-pay so that my bank account can not be auto-drafted this amount that I have already paid. That case ID is XXXX. Someone named XXXX XXXX has been assigned to my case from XXXX and thus far has not been able to get to the bottom or provide the resolution. Upon calling Citibank they will not provide me with the necessary documentation to prove that they have made payment on my behalf. Citibank continues to just maintain that they paid XXXX and that the reversal on my statement in proof that XXXX was paid. In the meantime XXXX has marked this as currently due and interest and penalty will be assessed.

To date, there is no testimonial certificate of facts that irrefutably display that I did indeed knowingly and agreeably authorize anyone employed by this company to make any inquiry and view my XXXX credit report on this ( these ) specific dates alleged if any dates ever at all. It is my contention that either the Original Creditor ( XXXX ) have ( has ) violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 1681b ( c )., or can not or will not demonstrate evidence of doing so compliantly to reporting standards as requisite by consumer reporting regulatory laws and practices. Might it be that in reality that they were not legally entitled to make these potentially fraudulent inquiries? Obviously, you can see as I do and also as would any deciding court should I seek suit versus you that this is a serious breach of my privacy much less my consumer and potentially my civil rights. Make addend corrections now to relieve yourself of foul position of non-compliance to reporting obligations so to retain or return to the appropriate status of certified XXXX XXXX compliant reporting more over 100 % provable true, correct, complete, and timely reporting. Let there be no mistake that I am requesting that the alleging entities currently unproven to be compliant to immediately mail me a copy of my signed authorization form that gave them the right to view my credit within five ( 5 ) business days so that I can verify its validity. If need be I will require that you advised them that if they can not provide me with proof that I authorized them to view my credit report then I am within my consumer and civil rights in my demanding that they contact the credit bureaus, including you XXXX, immediately so to adequately make rectifiable removal of every one even each any and or all of the deficient of compliant unauthorized and or fraudulent hard inquiries which clearly lack demonstrated permissible purpose as required. To that end, further, I am also requesting that they remove any and all of my personal information from their records. The last 4 of my SS # : XXXX and my Date of Birth : XX/XX/XXXX in case it is needed to locate the potentially injurious and fraudulent inquiry in their system.

Consumer Complaint: Issue # XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I had an ( Individual ) Hard Inquiry on my credit report for XXXX XXXX. This was a fraudulent inquiry and was NOT done by me. This ( Hard Inquiry ) is showing on my XXXX Credit Report AND on my XXXX Credit Report. Steps I have taken thus far : I have called XXXX and XXXX multiple times. I have called XXXX XXXX multiple times. I have sent a letter & a follow up letter to XXXX XXXX. All of these efforts were made to report fraud and to have the hard inquiry from XXXX XXXX from my credit report. Response thus far as of XX/XX/XXXX : None. All of these efforts were made to report fraud and to have the hard inquiry from Citi Bank *removed* from my credit report. Response thus far as of XX/XX/XXXX : None. I cant seem to get anyone to help me to get this removed. On XX/XX/XXXX I implemented a Freeze and a Fraudulent Alert on all of three credit bureaus. There were other fraudulent hard inquiries ( including one from XXXX ) that were also on my XXXX credit report ( along with the ones above ) but XXXX was GREAT and removed ALL of the hard inquiries very quickly. I have already spent hours and hours on this since XX/XX/XXXX. I am writing to ask for your help to please have these XXXX ( XXXX ) fraudulent hard inquiries removed from my credit reports. Consumer Complaint: I XXXX, XXXX/agent requested a bill statement monthly payoff for the account on XX/XX/23 and the statement was posted to the online account after XX/XX/23. The bill statement is due by the XXXX of XXXX. On XX/XX/23 the first letter of instructions ( claim of credit ), POA, federal reserve section 16 and 29, and the negotiable instrument of the bill statement monthly payoff endorsed was sent to the CFO ( XXXX XXXX ) over night and was received on XXXX the XXXX at XXXX XXXX ( letter of instructions states 5 business days will be given to receive a response ). A copy of the endorsed negotiable instrument of the bill statement monthly payoff was sent to the billing center requested in the letter that was sent to XXXX XXXXPrincipal. No correspondence from the CFO was ever received of completed instructions. The second set of instructions that was sent to the CFO ( opportunity to cure ) along with POA, federal reserve section 16 and 29, and the negotiable instrument of the bill statement monthly payoff on XX/XX/23 and received on XX/XX/23 at XXXX XXXX giving 5 business days to respond. No correspondence has been received at this time from the CFO. The third set of instructions was sent on XX/XX/23 ( default of notice ) along with POA, federal reserve section 16 and 29, and the negotiable instrument of the bill statement monthly payoff. Again, given 5 business days to respond accordingly. All instructions were sent overnight using USPS with tracking. Also, all items sent had to receive a signature upon delivery. A copy of this file complaint and all evidence has been sent to the CFO as well. As of XX/XX/23 the instructions have not been completed by the CFO at this time. As of now the CFO of Citigroup Bank is in violation and breach of contract of the following laws/acts : 15 USC 1611 , 3-602, 3-603, 3-604, 3-611, 3-408, 3-409, federal reserve act section 16, and federal reserve act 29. Due to the nature of the violation, I am seeking remedy of the bill statement monthly payoff to be paid out for the account with Citigroup Bank and 1 percent of the total assets of Citigroup Bank member bank.

Consumer Complaint: I recently opened my credit card XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX through citi bank. Even after calling multiple times, answering security code, sms verifications, they wouldnt release a security hold on my account. And now I have to wait for them to send a letter through snail mail to verify my identity. Waiting weeks to use my card is affecting my ability to qualify for the bonus, since thats the reason I opened the account and Ive been with Citi bank for a year now. I will never open another account with them again.

Consumer Complaint: I completed citi bank accelerated saving account bonus as required starting XX/XX/XXXX ending XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of XXXX in which I should have received a bonus of XXXX automatically on XX/XX/XXXX or an extra 30 days later. Needless to say I didnt receive my bonus even after taking about month to complete Verification of account via w9 which was never stated needed to be done. After I made sure my account was verified around XX/XX/XXXX a whole month after I should have received my bonus I switch to the prior plan for checks. Never was I told if I switch I wouldnt receive bonus which I qualified and complete XX/XX/XXXX. Citi bank refuses to honor their obligation of issuing me my XXXX dollar bonus which I want ASAP! They continue to make me open claims and would never send emails or communicate decision! I opened several claims with poor customer service! Citi banks provided me XXXX as a inconvenience payment which conveniently is the lower amount due for the accelerated saving bonus requirement because they know they are culpable to pay me my full XXXX but they wont do it. I want my full XXXX US dollars to be provided which is owed to me for keeping my end of the bargain! Please help!
