Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I attempted through automatic withdrawal through my bank to pay the balance due on my Costco Citibank credit card. In error, instead of entering {$110.00}, I entered {$10000.00}. Once entered, I saw my error and attempted to correct it by hitting ESC. It appeared to have worked. I then reentered the balance due payment as {$110.00}, the correct amount. On XX/XX/23 I attempted to withdraw {$100.00} from my XXXX XXXX XXXX ATM but could not. When I inquired at the bank, I was told my account was overdrawn. Citibank had received both the correct balance due of {$110.00} and the erroneous {$10000.00}. My bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX reversed the incorrect transaction due to insufficient funds in my account. At that point my balance due on the Costco Citibank Visa was XXXX. On XX/XX/23 though I owed them nothing, Citibank resubmitted the incorrect transaction, which was honored due to my XXXX XXXX and other deposits having been received. This payment to Citibank left me with {$5.00} in. my account. When contacted, Citibank at first said they would issue a credit to my credit account. When I objected they said a check would be issued but would take XXXX business days. I was penniless and had to borrow from friends to buy food and pay bills. XXXX XXXX XXXX issued overdraft charges each time an automatic withdrawal came in. On XX/XX/23 I received a check from XXXX for {$9700.00} backdated to XX/XX/23 Citibank had deducted {$240.00} to cover charges made after the statement date and not yet due. I am a XXXX XXXX living on XXXX XXXX and a small pension. I was penniless. I had no money to pay any bills or even buy food while Citibank held my money not owed to them to earn interest for its bottom line.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I attempted an online transfer money from my Citi Accelerated Savings to my personal checking, then close the account. The transfer was denied. I then called customer service, who instructed me to open a checking account, transfer the money from saving to the new checking account, then XXXX XXXX from the new account to my personal checking. After establishing the new Citi checking and attempting the XXXX XXXX, I was not permitted to do the transaction. I called Citi and spoke for XXXX hour and XXXX minutes ( XXXX call transfers ) and they concluded I can not transfer my money nor close my account. The last person I spoke with simply said " you'll have to find another way to get your funds. '' I then asked to be transferred to someone else, upon which I was told to call the number on the back of my ATM card. I repeated the request 3 times, and was not permitted to be transferred. So, there is currently over {$400000.00} stuck in my new Citi checking account for which I have no access.

Consumer Complaint: Went into sears and got a 48 month interest free loan for bed. The bed came. However, they sent me a credit card. Used the card thinking the interest would be 25 %. Never got any free interest, and interest is now at 30 %. Its went up every month. Never been late. In fact they have given more credit. Then they call to inform of unauthorized charges. They add the charges then remove them, instead of just removing the charges. {$910.00} dollars. They charged 30 % interest on those unauthorized charges. Also, you never log in more than once with your password. Its always wrong and you have to go change everything. When trying to pull I up a statement it freezes up and kicks you out. Trying to get back in your password is wrong.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, my credit limit was {$7500.00} in which payment to account was paid on time and regularly paying off balance monthly. XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, credit limit and cash advance limit was {$7500.00} same routine on payments consisted with no change along with same associated credit cards with Synchrony with no changes. Approximately on and around XX/XX/XXXX I requested increase since my payment history and Citi bank representative stated it appears you would qualify due to it being over 6 months and you are in great standing. I proceeded and awaited response. At end of XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed I submitted verbally a dispute regarding a service paid for totaling near and around {$1400.00} but called back next morning since it was XXXX and they stated they couldnt close the dispute since the office wouldnt be open until Monday. I told them to ensure this was a valid charge and I thought it was a different credit card. The customer representative stated it wouldnt be a problem we have noted it and closed it and the charge is and will appear on your charges. He stated to just call back Monday to verify it is complete. That said, I called back and they said it wasnt closed but will do so. After these incidences I received notification that my credit limit I requested to be increased was decreased to {$3800.00} when it occurred I paid extra to ensure I didnt exceed utilization rate and then I contacted Citi customer support and the representative stated this is definitely not good because you are and were in great status and I will submit an appeal for you. I submitted the appeal and waited for reply. The response from Citi was contradictory first statement stated I had derogatory delinquent payments and late payments when in fact it was false. So I reached out again to customer support to ensure this was corrected and the second response was Citi will not change the limit and its not due to your credit report. Understandably realizing I did not intentionally file a dispute but the Citi group proceeded as I did when it was not warranted. I continually paid and reached out and then the Citi bank access to previous notices related to this credit card ( which was replaced ), which identified false information and dispute information was applied to my credit file which caused not once but three times from XXXX up until XXXX the credit limit to reduce from {$7500.00}, {$3800.00}, {$2500.00} then now {$2000.00}. Incidentally unjustifiably reporting my utilization rate higher than actual and real credit limit to be proved incorrect due to delay of actual credit limit behind by 30 days from date providing to credit reporting bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: I am inputting a new compliant in follow up from compliant # XXXX. Citi lied in the response that they would be honoring the misleading disclosures and crediting my XXXX XXXX account for XXXX miles. As you can see in the letter attached, they agreed that the disclosures stated I would be credited and that I would receive credit 7-10 business days. This did not happen and instead I was told by their executive office that they lied in the compliant to CFPB and would not be honoring the disclosure or statement they made. I ask that the CFPB look into false disclosures Citi is providing their customers as I was told that there have been a number of complaints about the illegal disclosures on the promotion. I have attached the disclosures I agreed to when opening the account and the letter from their executive office stating that I should have been credited it.

If instructions are not completed, I instructed the CFO XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to respond in writing within 5 business days giving a reason for non-performance of fiduciary duties. If no communication is made within 5 business days I can assume that instructions have been completed.Not letting me access my interest/equity is an indication of violation of securities, breach of contract. On XX/XX/2023 I mailed another endorsed bill, federal reserve act 16,29 ( Civil Money Penalty ) and instructionals ( opportunity to cure ) stating the same thing as the first packet that I mailed. They received on XX/XX/2023. ( tracking # XXXX ) Still got no response on the issue or that it has been complete. On XX/XX/2023 I mailed another endorsed bill, Federal reserve act 16, 29, and the same instructionals as above. ( Notice of Default ) They received a packet on XX/XX/2023. Consumer Complaint: I opened up a Wayfair credit card in XXXX. I made {$370.00} in purchases. In XXXX, I made purchases of {$420.00}, and XXXX XXXX. Total amount of all purchases equal {$2500.00}. Between the months of XXXX XXXX I made {$1200.00} in payments. The amount owed on purchases before I returned an item should total {$1300.00}. I received a statement in which my CC shows I owe {$1400.00}. They show the credit of the returned item of {$380.00} however the math does not add up to what I show the balance to be. The account balance should be {$950.00} as of XX/XX/2023. I spent XXXX hours on the phone with customer service asking how its possible if total purchases {$2500.00} in purchases minus {$1200.00} in payments equals {$1400.00}. I was advised it was due to being billed after the billing cycle had ended. Math is math. I returned the item and Wayfair is not giving me credit for the total payments made to them to date.

Consumer Complaint: 1 ) On XX/XX/2023 Citi Cards notified me that my card ending in # XXXX had suspicious charges, a series of $ XXXX purches of phonecards from XXXXXXXX 2 ) I disputed the charges and Citi opened an investigation 3 ) Months went by without notice until I happened to notice that my online balance suddenly increased from Citi reversing the dispute credit 4 ) I received a letter ( that i will attach below ) stating the vendor said the charge was legitimate ; the vendor cited that they had my address ( which was correct ) and a phone number ; the phone number is not tied registered to me- I had no knowledge of this vendor, this phone number, and I have never purchased phone cards 5 ) XXXX said I had not disputed with them in their letter 6 ) I call XXXX early in XXXX, and they would not speak to me because I could not validate the information related to the phone number that the cards were charged too- I CAN'T validate that information because it isn't my account, asked to speak to someone in a supervisory position and XXXX hung up one me 7 ) I called Citi on XXXX to re-open the dispute ; a representative at an off-shore call center promised me it would be re-opened and I would not have to pay these charges 8 ) on XXXX I got a bill reminder ; I called into Citi and they said the dispute had not been reopened. 9 ) I did not order these cards ; the cards were not delivered to my address and XXXX is hiding who ordered these cards ; Citi 's off-call dispute center seems to be disconnected from US systems 10 ) I am willing to file charges with the FBI and local law enforcement and testify under oath these are not my charges 11 ) I have also filed an FTC complaint against XXXXXXXX the report number isXXXX
