Consumer Complaint: On Sunday XX/XX/2023 I accepted the offer to turn in an application for credit at XXXX XXXX XXXX Upon doing so it was brought to my attention that some of my personal information connected to my phone number was incorrect. I was satisfied to the best of my knowledge that this info had been corrected. On XX/XX/XXXX ok received an email addressing myself with a different name. This happened again on XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted the company about the issue after the first email. I am submitting this complaint to replace complaint number XXXX.

XXXX reps and after several hours of holding times could not explain why and no answer or contact from Citibank. Sorry for inconvenience is the only comment. XXXX years customer flawless relationship XXXX FICA treated like a criminal. Citibank is in trouble of some type check it out. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: This problem relates to the last problem that I filed regarding my Macy 's credit card account ending in XXXX ( my old card ) and XXXX ( my new upgraded XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Since CFPB last intervened, the account was corrected. Macy 's advised me there was a new balance due of {$76.00}. I paid this amount in full immediately. The account then reflected a credit balance of {$10.00}. I called Macy 's and spoke to someone in credit to request a refund check for the {$10.00} credit amount. Macy 's agreed to send this to me. I checked my balance again a day or two later and there is a new balance in the amount of {$140.00}. I sent two messages through the Macy 's credit card website but did not receive a satisfactory answer as to what this balance was for. I have not used my card at all for any purchases for several months. I called Macy 's on Monday, XX/XX/28 and spoke to XXXX in credit who did some checking and said that this amount is not due from me and will be removed from my account in 1 to 2 billing cycles. I asked Macy 's to send me a letter or statement showing my new zero balance. I am not satisfied that this correction by Macy 's will take one to two billing cycles. Can you please help me to get this erroneous billing amount off of my account? I also do not want to be responsible for any more fees or finance charges on this account. I am not using this account any longer and I plan to never use it again!! Thank you! XXXX XXXX

Citibank provided receipts of the transaction showing a name of another person that I do not know. I contacted Citibak stating that I was not the person on the transaction receipt and do not know who the person named in the receipt is. A person named XXXX XXXX is on all the receipts. I have never met nor do I presently know who this person is.

Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card issued by CITI Bank. Its carries a balance from time to time when the interest rate offered is favorable. As my financial circumstances change, I pay off the balance. A very normal arrangement. The payments on the card have ( nearly ) always been made through the online portal.Specifically, I provided CITI with the account number of a checking account I have at XXXX XXXX for periodic payments. This week I determined it was appropriate to pay off the balance on a CITI card with proceeds from a HELOC at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I drew the exact amount from the HELOC to make the payoff to my checking account at XXXX. I then used the CITI online banking application, which uses XXXX, to connect the XXXX account to make the payment. It all seemed very easy and normal. The next day however, I received an email from XXXX XXXX indicating they declined a payment in the amount I requested drawn from the XXXX account. I immediately realized the mistake and contacted CITI. Their customer service refused to provide a direct and clear answer regarding whether they would charge a returned check fee. However, the next day it was apparent CITI is charging me a {$29.00} returned check fee. The pecuniary amount isn't the issue. The problem is that I'm 1000 % sure by virtue of the process XXXX used to connect the accounts of the inputs I made through the CITI portal. I absolutely requested the draw made from the XXXX account, even entering in my XXXX portal login information to make the connection. CITI 's software and procedures either ( maliciously or carelessly ) misprocessed my request and now blame me for their mistake. The fees generated by this are entirely disingenuous and customer service refuses to directly discuss the issue, instead faming misunderstanding as might occur between people who speak different native languages. It's simply sad and ridiculous behavior to generate additional fee based revenue.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Citibank lowered my credit from {$11000.00} to {$3000.00}. Stating, XXXX reported I was delinquent on an account. Citi now reporting my credit score is no XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, I provided documents to XXXX clarifying the delinquency. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX raised my credit score right back to XXXX. From XX/XX/XXXX to date, I have contacted CITI bank and asked them to correct my credit score and give me back my higher limit. XX/XX/XXXX with Citibank a supervisor ( won't give me their name ) place my COMPLANT about my credit score. XX/XX/XXXX I faxed a company of the XXXX XXXX XXXX and report showing it was XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX a letter declined. Called Citi XX/XX/XXXX and again told them the credit score is wrong. Then again on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX i placed complaints Citi is reporting the wrong credit score. Citi would tell me they would check with XXXX and other agents would tell me theres nothing they can do. XXXX I called XXXX and they validated the scores of XXXX, then XXXX have been sent to the credit card and validated that Citi has NOT pulled any credit on my in 8 months. So they lied!! Attached is XXXX imagens from right from XXXX. Notices the scores, and dates. Also the bottom right shows todays date. More importantly, the second XXXX score states, up XXXX point from the previous months score. Proving that back in XXXX my score was XXXX which Citi shows it wasnt. They are not reporting my credit correctly
