Consumer Complaint: Around XX/XX/2023, I called Citibank # regarding fraudulent charges that I did not authorize and to close my account. I called again XX/XX/2023 and was passed from one person to another. I asked them to report to the credit agencies and to correct it as it is affecting my credit score and my credit. I called Citibank # XXXX, then was asked to XXXX The amount was {$4200.00}. Credit card : XXXX fraudulent charges. Another credit card : XXXX also fraudulent charges- not sure of the amount. I am so scared to use Citicard again and have not until these issues are resolved.

Consumer Complaint: The credit card company has reduced my credit line for the XXXX time in the last 4 months. The XXXX time happened on XXXX, with the explanation that it was based on information from XXXX. I called their customer service to find out the reason for this, and they submitted my request to reinstate my credit line, which was denied on XXXX by email. I have checked my credit information from XXXX, and my report shows my credit scores have increased more than XXXX points in the last XXXX days, and my credit card usage has dropped more than 10 %. I have nothing but positive progress shown on my credit reports. I have not been late on any payments to anyone, and due to a change of employers, with a substantial increase in income, I have been paying even larger payments on all my credit cards to eliminate my debt. These reduced credit lines from Citi is creating negative impacts to my credit scores for no reason. The first time they lowered my credit limit I was given the explanation that my XXXX was too high, which only worsened the issue. With Citi, they have penalized me for using their cards, and now are penalizing me for not using their cards.

It is now XXXX, and I'm being served with a writ of garnishment for a judgement in XXXX obtained by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; I was never served with a court order or summons to respond and have no knowledge that this case even went to court, so to be served a writ for garnishment for a judgement I had no knowledge of is a complete blindside and shady practice on the part of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was never served or given an opportunity to respond. When the judgement was obtained, it was done so illegally, as the statute for collection on said debt had expired and they had no legal right to even collect on the debt.

In response to the before mentioned case, the company stated they would electronically deposit the $ XXXX that i'm owed into my bank account with XXXX business days of XX/XX/31. They have not deposited anything into my account but my Citi XXXX balance now shows " XXXX '' instead of previous amount of " - {$7000.00} ''. They have consistently failed to do what they stated they'll do over the past XXXX weeks. They only time they have actually reached out to me is in response to my CFPB complaint and even the first complaint didn't resolve it. This is incredibly frustrating considering I am XXXX militarily in defense of our nation and separated from my XXXX children and spouse. I am at risk of missing my mortgage payment on the XXXX if this doesn't get resolved before that date.

I have never had a Title Loan and I have asked repeatedly to show me the Original Loan Agreement with my signature and they could not. They told me they would take it off and still have not. There is a Doctor visit bill for XXXX XXXX I know nothing about either. I have asked for the Original Bill with signature and still showing inaccurate information effecting my credit score. There is a Citi Bank Freud as well that they will not let me take off even though it is not mine due to their policy of Freud. I have asked for Original Bill with my signature and they do not respond. My Credit Report needs to be corrected. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: I purchased an airline ticket for a convention I needed to be at in XXXX. There was an offer for a discount on the ticket if I applied for their credit card. I got the card and purchased the ticket, for a total charge on the card of {$2200.00}. I later lost the card that was sent to me and requested a new one. The customer service agent asked me about a balance transfer. I specifically stated that the only charge on the account was the airline ticket I had purchased, stating that should be the only charge on the account. The agent then filed a dispute, that I did not request, with the airline resulting in my ticket being cancelled, without my knowledge or consent. I was made aware of this only days before my scheduled trip when I received a notification that my credit card balance was now XXXX. I reached out to both the credit card and the airline, both of whom blamed the other party for the problem. I was forced to purchase another ticket, then change that flight, get a bit of a refund to the card from the airline and finally was rescheduled back to my original flight. The one I agreed to pay {$2200.00} for. Since then I have been trying to get this settled with the credit card company. I have paid nearly the total amount of the original {$2200.00} for my flight yet my balance is still almost {$4000.00}. For a {$2200.00} flight. I have spoken with multiple agents, over many months and it seems each time I do, my balance increases. This has been a very distressing situation. The credit card agent made the mistake and yet the credit card company is charging me three times the value of the ticket I purchased.

Consumer Complaint: Citibank advertises on its website that upon checking bank account opening they provide bonus cash offer after certain conditions are met. Back in XX/XX/2023, I opened a checking account online through the citibank website. At the time the offer was XXXX $ bonus rewards upon opening checking account and maintaining XXXX $ balance in the account for 70 days after 20 days of account opening. I have fulfilled all the terms of the account and when I checked back with the citibank representative they confirmed that the conditions are met but still the rewards isn't being issued. They created a ticket for their backoffice to investigate and I am being asked for email communication or letter from the bank confirming the offer. I didn't receive any such communication besides citibank has that offer on their website even today but with changed terms. I have done several follow ups with the bank and each representative gives me different answers. I am tired of their poor customer service and very disappointed in them. I feel cheated by the bank. I need this to be resolved.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX; tried to use the Costco Citi Visa card and it was declined. No reason given, other than the account was closed. They also closed the Macys and the XXXX XXXX cards on the same day ( XXXX XXXX I found out later ). I tried to call and the company does not have a phone number for customer service, the agents at the number on the back of the card had no information. The email bounced back using the advertised email on their website. They only appear to accept snail mail. XX/XX/XXXX, sent a certified letter to Citi Bank asking for an explanation since the accounts had never been paid late and balances were always paid in full. The card was used for business purposes and created absolute havoc with my business. XX/XX/XXXX received a letter from Citi, saying the accounts were closed and to destroy the cards. No explanation as to why. Closing 3-accounts will adversely affect my credit, we currently have a perfect credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a checking account in XXXX with Citibank after receiving a promotional flyer in the mail offering a {$400.00} cash bonus after depositing a certain amount and keeping it in the account for 60 days. I honored my side and followed all of the rules and criteria to qualify, and the bonus was not ever deposited. When I called, I got the run-around. A dispute would be opened and it would be 'resolved ' by Citibank saying that I did not qualify for that promotion, even after I submitted documentation showing the flyer and all of the criteria followed. It has been a complete disappointment.
