Consumer Complaint: Back in the early month of XX/XX/2022 I contacted this company for validation of the debt they have inaccurately reported to my credit profile. I have found *several* inaccuracies on my report that further prove my suspicion of this account being fraudulent and NOT MINE. Attached is proof of the credit report with misinformation differing across the three credit bureaus. I kindly request this item to be removed completely, never to be added back again. I understand that the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulates credit bureaus and collection agencies to ensure proper and accurate reporting for all consumers. In this case, I have not been treated fairly as the reported accounts are continuing to show -- with mismatch information especially. The history for XXXX is missing -- COMPLETELY The history for XXXX is showing as 100 % PAID The history for XXXX has gaps in payment history and differs from the other reports that XXXX and XXXX has provided. Again, this is a very clear-cut violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This company does NOT care about reporting accurate information -- nor do they care about customer complaints when said customer is a victim of identity theft. I need something done about this immediately!

Consumer Complaint: Many tender of payments have been made to Capital One and none of them applied..also Capital one has caused me injury by constantly reporting false statements to my credit report when they are the ones that are in dishonor by not applying my payments. According to UCC 3-603 even if the payments are rejected, ignored or otherwise they are still valid and the debt has to be dicharged. Capital one has further caused me harm by closing all my accounts when payments were tendered. Ive written to Capital one to have the interest they are holding on behalf of the principal account XXXX XXXX XXXX applied to the debt and that also has not been done.

I asked them about it and why, and all they could tell me is, if I know that I signed up for daily interest. I answered that I know what I signed up for, I went to XXXX of XXXX to get the fact and documents I signed, it was completely different from what Capital was saying. my car payment is due on the XXXX of each month, and I was told I have a grace till the XXXX of each Month. because of my income and being a single mom, I schedule an automatic debit for the XXXX of every month so I won't have to forget the loan payments. I make all my payments from XX/XX/XXXX till XX/XX/XXXX, I never missed any of my payments at all, and I still have my car with me to date. I checked my XXXX XXXX and to my surprise, I found that XXXX reported me for no payment dropping my credit score by 10 % in just one or two days my credit went up. this is the heart of wickedness.

I logged into my XXXX account and noticed that a credit inquiry was processed from Capitol One on XX/XX/23 for a new credit card ( I did not apply for this card. Called Capitol Ones fraud department. The fraud department told me that my social security number and name matched the application, however the birthday did not. And because my birthday did not match the one used on the application, it was not fraud. The further told me that they have had a number of instances where multiple people have the same social security number, and that this is possible.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted consumer in regards to my past due account amount on XX/XX/2023. The first agent that I spoke with informed me that the account had been transferred to a third party and provide third party contact information. I contacted the third party who than stated that my account was not visible in their system as of XX/XX/2023. I than processed to contact the consumer back and spoke with an agent by the name of XXXX who stated that no settlement can be made on the account at this time. I asked to speak with a supervisor, XXXX was the supervisor I spoke with on my account. I asked her about a settlement as well and she stated that no settlement could not be made on the account at this time. I asked her is their a reason stated in their system as to why no settlement can be accepted on the account, she was unable to find a reason. XXXX placed a ticket to investigate the account more. The ticket # that was provided to me by XXXX was XXXX. XXXX stated that a communication will be sent to me once the investigation has been completed. I am trying to get this account resolved and removed from my account. Please Inform with more information.
