Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I received an email from Capital One for a exclusive higher ESB for being a loyal customer ( I have a checking and savings account at Capital One ). The offer offered {$300.00} ESB instead of the usual {$200.00} for Quicksilver. I applied and was rejected. Why would Capital One email me for a special offer if they were going to just reject me? I had no plans to apply for this until I was solicited and this just seems like a bad way to treat your " loyal '' customers. I have now been rejected from 3 Capital One cards but I literally work at Capital One. The first 2 times it was because I didn't have enough credit history and this time it's because I have too many cards. I'm annoyed that Capital One has docked my credit score 3 times now ... and this time they solicited me to do so.
