Consumer Complaint: The same exact thing happened that happened to me for 6 months last winter, finally resolved with your help XX/XX/XXXX ..... I attempted a balance transfer payment in XXXX of XXXX to help pay down my home equity line of credit. The payment shows as PAID on my Capital One card statement, dated XX/XX/XXXX ( {$1500.00} + {$45.00} fee ), yet the balance remains UNCHANGED on the home equity loan which the payment was intended to pay-down. Capital One is using the exact same verbiage they used last XXXX, blaming XXXX for the error. Saying I haven't waited long enough. Saying it was a paper check that must have gotten lost. Saying they canceled the transaction, but I need to wait XXXX business days ; but then I called back to make sure the transaction shows as cancelled and they started repeating the same jargon they tried on me last winter. Exactly the same script. THIS IS FLAT OUT FRAUD - ESPECIALLY SINCE IT HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN A ROW!

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a payment paying off the credit card on XX/XX/XXXX which was well before the due date and I know there was funds in the account because I had recently deposited a large check that I had verified cleared before I made a payment. Capital one returned the payment on XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX and stated that I had insufficient funds when I did not, they also reported me as late to my credit bureaus. I called and asked why they did this and they said insufficient funds and I stated that I didnt have insufficient funds per the reason listed above and asked that they take the negative remarks off my credit as I have never been late on this credit card before and it they were going to return a payment that they at least call me and notify me so that I dont end up w derogatory remarks on my credit. I asked that they refund the {$25.00} late fee and remove derogatory remarks and they told me they were unable to do that which is false. So I need them to refund me the late fee and remove all the falsely placed late payment remarks placed on my credit. Then I will pay the balance of the card off once they make said corrections.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased XXXX items on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX via their website. I made an account on their website and checked out. My credit card was immediately charged {$820.00} I expected the purchased items would take some time to ship since they are large car parts. Many XXXX had passed, and I had recieved no updates. My account on their website said " order processing ''. So on XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX Customer Service at XXXX. I spoke with XXXX and he said : " Dont worry, if it says order processing then we are still working on the order. There is no ETA, but we will send you email once your items have shipped ''. I said thank you and I remained patient. Many months passed with no contact made. My account on their website still said " order processing ''. So on XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX. This time no one answered. The call went straight to voicemail, and the voivemail box was full. Also on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote an email to XXXX '' to request to have the order canceled and refunded. I still have not recieved a response. Over the last 2 months, I have made 40+ phone calls on different days and at different hours of the day. No one answers the phone, the call goes straight to voicemail, and the voicemail box is full. I have also sent a total of 3 emails to request to have the order canceled and refunded. There has still not been any response back. I contacted my credt card company ( Capital One ) and they said " we cant investigate any fraud if its older than 60 days ''. So now, I have lost {$820.00}. Recieved no items. XXXX XXXX is unresponsive to communications. Capital One only cares about fraud that happened in the last 60 days. Thank you for your time.

Consumer Complaint: I sent a Notice to Opt-Out and Dispute letter to CapitalOne on XX/XX/23 in regards to 2 accounts that they are reporting negatively, without my consent, on my file to credit reporting agencies. I have been impacted negatively by being denied new credit because of the adverse information being reported by CapitalOne. Per 15 USC 6802e ( 2 ) I do not consent to any information that is being reported by CapitalOne. CapitalOne is illegally reporting transaction history on my consumer file, per 15 USC 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( i ). I have also notified CapitalOne through telephone, per their privacy notice, to verbally Opt-Out, but the accounts are still showing negatively on my consumer files.

Consumer Complaint: Capital one was In charge of my account when I attempted to link my external bank account named XXXX to capital one. Which was all fine untill they froze up my account and refused to give.me access to my funds. I have to call 6 times whilst at work to get things figured out. I did also authorize 2 incoming transfers from my XXXX XXXX account of XXXX to capital one which said reversed on capital ones side but has since been taken out of my XXXX XXXX account. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding. As XXXX sees the funds as in transit from their side. They stated that I could not move my money from my checking out at XXXX to capital one as they see them as a prepaid service. Even though capital one is very similar in nature. After all was said and done capital one blocked my account again as I still had my transfers pending so I had to stop taking my very important XXXX medication as XXXX was a fairly new account and I had the debit card on the way. Capital ones representative told me that I was XXXX. And that I " shouldn't have tried to link that account again '' and laughed at me Over the phone. To add to my pain capital one also declined to pursue my charge backs against etoro after my cell phone was stolen and fraudulent charges were made via that platform. I had email correspondence from.etoro stating that my account was compromised via my old device. And attempted to provide said proof to capital one and they refused to see it. All they wanted to do was wipe their hands clean of me. And good riddance if I might add. I have had nothing but trouble.using them my card was always getting compromised and they would never provide updates for my Disputes.
