Issue: Opening an account
Subissue: Unable to open an account
Consumer Complaint: Starting from XXXX, I've made several attempts to initiate the process of opening a savings account with Capital One 360 Savings. However, I have encountered persistent issues not only during the account opening procedure but also with various IT-related matters. Additionally, I'm currently facing difficulties in accessing my active Capital One Venture XXXX credit card details online, which is preventing me from making payments or reviewing transactions since XXXX. Throughout this period, I have reached out to Capital One via phone on no fewer than six occasions. I've invested significant hours in these conversations, and during one instance, I was even transferred five times across different departments, including Credit Card, Banking, Digital, IT, and Verification. On each call, an IT problem is identified, and I am advised to wait overnight for system updates. Unfortunately, these efforts have not yielded any positive results. As of now, over a week has passed, and I'm still unable to access my Credit Card activity. I have exhausted all available avenues to resolve this issue.
