Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I ordered an item " XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Edition Wireless Controller '' for {$88.00}. I received a tracking number for the item ( XXXX ) and received the item delivered through USPS. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received the item, and noticed that the item was very poorly packaged ( the item was just put in a very thin plastic cover with no bubble wrapping or box ) and immediately decided to return the item. I never opened the item and just wanted to buy from elsewhere, as I didn't want to risk using a product that was damaged or use a product that could easily be damaged down the road. I also value boxes of items, so seeing that the item was in that state was disheartening to me. I started a return on the same day, and on XX/XX/XXXX I sent out the item to be returned ( XXXX ). It was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX, and on XX/XX/XXXX I decided to inquire about the status of the refund, as it had been some time with no response. I was sent an email on XX/XX/XXXX that stated " The incorrect item has been received for your return. The serial number of the item received does not match our records for the item shipped. XXXX will not be taking further action on this order. '' Naturally, I immediately opened a dispute on the same day, on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Capital One that stated they required more information from me, and also attached information that was sent in by the merchant. Standard things like serial numbers being different, tracking number timeline for the item, as well as invoices. Capital One stated that they needed more documents from my end such as the merchant 's return policy, sales invoice, and proof of return, to name a few. I provided everything to Capital One to the best of my ability, and today on XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter stating that " While we have received your response to this request, it lacks all of the previously requested information needed to validate your dispute. '' I never was told what information was lacking, and I was told " Unfortunately, based on the information we have, we are unable to assist with your claim. '' I just want to work with Capital One and provide as much information as possible to help with the dispute, and of course, get my money back. I'm just not sure what else to do from here if they are lacking information.

Consumer Complaint: I have a Capitol One Business card. On XXXX, my credit limit was cut in half for no other reason than I don't use it all. I have had a business card with a XXXX credit limit with another cardholder for years. A few years ago I moved to Capitol One as they offered a card with the same credit limit. I do not spend anywhere near XXXX, in an average month, but I need to keep the higher credit limit in case of an emergency. My business is such that I could easily end up with an emergency bill for $ XXXX {$10.00} and I need a card with that credit limit for such emergencies. This is the second time that Capitol One has cut my credit limit for no other reason than I don't spend that much. I ALWAYS pay on time, I keep the card paid in full, and my income level has not decreased. So, there is absolutely no reason to cut my credit limit. If I qualified for the XXXX credit limit last month, I still qualify today. This happened once before, and I was able to simply restore it. But this time, they refuse to restore it back. I attempted to call customer service and the agent was very unhelpful. Did not offer any help or resolution and flat-out refused to do anything. I need my credit limit restored and locked in place. If I don't pay my bill or there is a valid reason to drop it, then fine. But it needs to be locked in place otherwise. I do hope to never have to use the full limit, but I do need it to be available in case of emergency. My credit limit needs to be restored and never again adjusted " because I don't use it all. '' I need a business card with a XXXX limit in order to have it available for emergency use if needed. If Capitol One can not provide that, I will close both cards I have with them and move to another company that will provide that.
