Consumer Complaint: This is what happened I requested a new copy of my credit report and I found out that I had ACCOUNT REVIEW INQUIRIES that I do not recognize at all. I never did any financial business with CAPITAL ONE BANK ; I never applied for any new lines of credit or did any credit monitoring services with them. So Looked at it and saw XXXX XXXX via XXXX XXXX XXXX and found that CAPITAL ONE N.A., XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, VA XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX ) Requested on XXXX Account Review Inquiries that wasn't even written authorized by me. My identity was stolen. The next Inquiry was CREDITWISE CAPITAL XXXX requested on XX/XX/2023 I never gave them authorization for them to do a credit check in writing to do an issued Account Review Inquiry on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: When purchasing my vehicle I made an agreement with the car dealership whom claimed they were in direct contact with Capital One Auto Finance about the interest rate rate of my auto loan to be 6 % and for no longer than 48 months. Once I started making my car payments I was being charged 12 % apr and a 72 month auto loan. I put {$6000.00} cash as a down-payment to keep my payments low and interest at a lower rate. Even with a 12 % apr with the amount financed I have paid more than I should have for the entire lemgth of the loan. I put {$6000.00} cash as a down payment. the amount of the loan should have been for less than {$10000.00} with my down-payment. The original loan amount shows much more than {$10000.00}. Where did my down-payment go if it was not put towards my loan as it should have been?? Capital One Auto Finance charges accessive interest rates and are not as what was agreed to at the start of the loan and is double the amount than what was agreed to when purchasing the vehicle from XXXX of XXXX. For what should have been a {$9000.00} loan with 6 % annual percentage interest rate and paying on my loan for 3 years now and it still shows I owe {$7000.00} to pay my car off and that I have paid {$7000.00} in interest already does not add up. Contacting Capital one auto finance is a joke as nobody resolves the problem. Somebody needs to audit Capital one auto finance because I am sure that I am not the only one that is being deceived by Capital one auto finance. This is a fraudulent act on Capital one auto finance and quite possibly even XXXX of XXXX. Capital one is being extremely deceptive in their practices by collecting more interest in payments from consumers than what they should be collecting. more than 50 % of every payment has gone to interest. even on 12 % interest ( although that is suppose to be 6 % as agreed to ) the amount of interest collected during an entire 72 month ( which is suppose to be 36 month ) loan term should be no more approximately {$3000.00} throughout the entire length of the loan. How is it I have paid double that in interest and the loan amount in total should have only been {$9000.00}??? This is fraudulent and wrong and Capital one auto finance is taking advantage of consumers with unfair practices and should be held accountable for their fraudulent actions to the full extend of the law.

This letter was received and I was notified that the account was going to be corrected then they sent me a letter explaining that they could not change this situation since they had to accurately report the report, where I express that due to fraud they should give me the necessary help since it negatively affects my credit report and my reputation.

Im not exaggerating when I said almost 13 different people from the XXXX called me asking to sent copies of my driver license, social security card and bank statements for verification. They wanted me to show my personal bank information on it. Lets start by that is dangerous to be giving your information to other people, specially overseas. I did it anyway. Somehow they started they couldnt verified my information and closed all of my accounts. I have tried to call so many times to request to speak with someone in the United States and I get nothing by ride people. Nobody is able to help me or able to provide further information. They continue to report this accounts to my credit file as negative hurting my credit. I need someone to call me and fix this issue. Someone from the United States. You are ruining my credit.
