Consumer Complaint: Capital One offerred a {$200.00} promo to spend a certain amount in a specific time frame. I did and was assured via recorded call that i would see the funds in my next statement. They are not there. Capital One also has refused to CORRECTLY process a dispute. They refuse ALL direct communication with a consumer except through representatives that do not know the language spoken in the US. I can NOT email Capital One through my portal. The phone calls go out of country. I WANT MY REWARDS.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with CapitalOne 360 account on XX/XX/2023 I already have a credit card with them. I received 2 XXXX payments equaling to {$500.00} from my daughter. A couple days go by and I receive an email for capital one stating that my account is restricted. I was not told why my account was restricted so I called the customer service line. When I called I was told to verify myself I sent in the front and back of my ID to them and still my account was still restricted. I just want my money from that account and want to close it. I am not able to go in person to close my account because I am overseas at the moment. I am no longer interested in keeping an account with them.

Consumer Complaint: Capital One credit does not disclose the statement closing date to its users. Even if paid in full the account will not inform user of statement closing date. So if credit card is used in between the due date and whatever date is the statement closing date the consumer will suffer. I have suffered due to this and my credit score went down because this agency refuses to inform its own consumers when they are closing the bill date. This is a predatory tactic that leaves the consumer unable to use this card.

Consumer Complaint: I kept getting junk mail from capital one saying if I applied for their quicksilver card and was approved, I'd get a {$300.00} statement balance if I spent {$500.00} in the first 3 months. I applied for the card and called now, 3 months later after having surpassed the {$500.00} spend mark and was told I wouldn't get that bonus despite the many months of junk mail stating I would.

I sent a letter to this company certified mail green return receipt signed from an Agent and still have not gotten a letter from them yet. XXXX/Capital One have : assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with Maximum Accuracy.The IRS Clearly defines a Charge Off as Gross or Ordinary income, Income does not get reported on the consumer report. Which in fact makes the reporting of this account inaccurate. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I used my Capital One Mastercard to make a purchase on the XXXX XXXX from a seller that accepts payment through XXXX. When I went online today to make my monthly Capital One payment ( following the deposit of my Social Security XXXX Income ), I found what I believed to be an incorrect assessment of a {$10.00} " cash advance fee ''. I called Capital One for clarification, and was informed that any purchases through XXXX are considered a " cash advance '' and- in addition to the {$10.00} fee ( or 3 % of the amount, whichever is the greater ) - an interest rate in excess of 30 % would apply, which continues to accrue until the cash advance is paid. When I asked if there was an avenue to specifically pay the " cash advance '' amount, I was told there was no way to do so except to pay off the entire credit card balance of {$4900.00} ( out of a {$5000.00} limit ) .. and that the 30 % + interest would also be charged and continue to accrue ON THE {$10.00} CASH ADVANCE FEE itself! I requested to speak with a supervisor, and asked that - as I subsist on a social security XXXX income - perhaps Capital One might extend a one-time compassionate consideration and at least waive the {$10.00} cash advance fee ( since I was unaware that processing a Capital One charge through XXXX was considered a " cash advance '', nor that I would incur such outrageous fees and interest charge ), I was advised that they " had no way '' to do so, and was summarily dismissed. I will never again use my Capital One credit card for ANYTHING " cash-advance '' related, and will do everything within my ability to pay down the entire balance without incurring any further charges, and ultimately reserve this account solely for emergency situations, or close it altogether.
