While I understand that trade lines are typically removed after seven years, I would like to know the precise month and year when this particular trade line is set to be updated. Additionally, please furnish me with the address to which you mailed your request or the phone number you used to contact them. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I visited Kohls to purchase a couple work clothes for the XXXX XXXX I work at. After spending a copious amount of time trying on outfits on my only day off, I proceeded to checkout with my clothes. A blonde white woman is supervising a new cashier, so I smile go along with my checkout. At a point in my transaction, Im offered if I want to sign up for a Kohls rewards card to get a 35 % discount off of my immediate purchase. Usually when customers hear the words store card, they often thing of like a membership to get deals at checkout, not a credit card. This card was only advertised as something I use at checkout to save money. I believed I was joining the Kohls rewards program like many of my family members, not enrolling and getting a credit card. During the transaction as I was putting my details in, it asked for my SSN. I directly asked the Supervisor a clear question, Is this going to pull my credit? To which she tilted and scratched her head, and awkwardly replied Just a soft credit pull. And then I proceeded to say oh nice, those dont hurt your credit. To which she did not respond as she watched me finish entering my details. Just to stop right here, I believe that most adults should be aware that obtaining a credit card would require a credit inquiry that hurts your credit score. I believe both me and this Supervisor are aware of that fact. That is why when she responded with a soft pull, I was misled into the type of card they were offering me. I asked her a question that showed I did know what I was actually signing up for, and she gave me incorrect information. While it is possible that this Supervisor believed that credit cards require soft pulls, she then proceeded to raise her voice and tell me something along the lines of I hope you enjoy shopping at Kohls for many years to come! As I exited quickly to not hold up the line. What happed at this this store was this woman is trained to give consumers vague, misleading answers to their questions about products in order to meet their sales goals. Even if it comes at the expense of the consumer. What happened earlier was a dishonest act, that I believe made the supervisor and cashier uncomfortable that they were incentivized to lie to me, a young XXXX American man. Yet still, the fact I was misled while getting a vague card to use at a store is inexcusable, and utterly ridiculous. I put my trust into the supervising woman and asked her a clarifying question, and then I was mislead, and now my credit score will tank because of it. This truly upset me to my core when I checked my email and found that a credit card would be arriving soon. This will devastate my financial plans in the coming months, as I now have to manage my finances with unwanted line of debt.

Consumer Complaint: I have 2 accounts with Capital One ending in XXXX and XXXX respectively. with a total debt of # XXXX. I have been trying to work with Capital one since XXXX to work out a plan on payong off the two accounts that I have with them. Since then the accounts have been sent to collections and since I have no source of income other than XXXX, I can not pay this debt back. I am working with an attorney to file bankruptcy, however they advised me to send in this letter with proof of the only income that I have is XXXX and that I am unable to get work because I have no ability to read, write or get transport dur to recent conplete XXXX. Hence, since the only source of income I have is XXXX which is not legally garnishable in a judgement, it is unlikely that this debt will be or can be paid back. I receive such a small amount, that I can not support myself and pay back Capital One at the same time. Since the XXXX is permanent and withs the state of inflation, it is likely that things will not improve in the future either Also, with the continued added interest each month and with such a large principal payment, I can not afford even to pay back as little as {$20.00} a month. .
