It has been more than 30 days and i have yet to receive a letter from Comenity, notifying me on the status of my request. The law stipulates that you must investigate within 30 days of receiving my letter and respond within 5 days of completing your investigation. I have since paid my amount in full and would like my late payment removed.

I emailed Lane Bryant community on XX/XX/21 requesting all late fees be removed as a one time courtesy. And email response was received on XX/XX/21 from a Sincerely, XXXX LateFeesWaiver internet customer care that all fees would be removed as a one time courtesy. However I received a statement for XX/XX/21 stating I now have a balance of {$32.00} regarding a late fee and finance charges of {$2.00} finance charges. A call was maid XX/XX/21 Per XXXX the supervisor I only qualified for one late fee reversal in a calendar year. And would not be adjusting the charges. I was charged a late fee in XXXX erroneously. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I called Comenity Bank ( XXXX XXXX ) to pay my card off. I had received late fees in the past and wanted to get this card taken care of. I spoke with the Customer Service Representative and informed him that I will pay the balance in full as long as there was no late fees or penalties assessed. At the end of the conversation and prior to me providing payment. The CSR asserted that I will not have to pay the fee associated with paying over the phone, any late fees, penalties, or interest. In the beginning of XXXX of 2021, I received a statement stating that I had a balance due on XX/XX/2021. I was assessed {$35.00} for the late fee that I was told I would not have if I paid my balance in full. I was also given an interest fee of {$9.00} for a total of {$44.00} ( subject to late fees ) if I don't pay it on time. Comenity Bank ( XXXX XXXX ) is taking advantage of consumers who are unemployed due to COVID restrictions and just trying to stay afloat. Comenity Bank ( XXXX XXXX ) is engaging in unfair practices against consumers.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. I appreciate your effort in getting this matter resolved. Thank you. Please let me know if you need any other information from me to block this information from my credit report. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing this complaint in regards to disputes that were sent over 45 days ago regarding inaccurate and erroneous information reporting on my credit file. These disputes were sent to XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They all have failed to respond and comply with my request under the FDCPA and FCRA laws. I am very disappointed at their lack of effort to investigate this matter. I understand and are aware of my rights to request another investigation, however I do not have another 30 days to spare for investigative results. I am in the process of moving, and I have to find a place within two weeks and this is really affecting my ability to get approved for a home loan and even a rental apartment. Consumer Complaint: Pursuant to FDCPA 1692c ( c ) ( 2 ) I am invoking my specified remedy as the consumer, and as the original creditor, I am demanding the following Pursuant to FDCPA 15 USC1666b TIMING OF PAYMENTS- Remove the 4 missed payments on my COMENITY BANK/VICTORIA SECRET credit card ending in XXXX. This is an open ended credit card. Pursuant to 15 USC 1692j, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and COMENITY BANK/VICTORIA SECRET are in violation. They are furnishing deceptive forms on my consumer report. Pursuant to 15 USC 6821, this is violating my customer privacy rights. Pursuant to 15 USC 6823, they are all eligible for criminal penalties. Pursuant to 18 USC 3571 ( c ), they are all eligible for federal fines. Pursuant to 15 USC 1692d, this is harassment and abuse upon my life. If this is not removed, I will be invoking my monetary remedy pursuant to FDCPA 15 USC 1692k, in addition to criminal penalty under 18 USC 3571.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted comenity bank and paid my balance in full and requested account be closed. I asked them not to contact me anymore. Comenity bank has done the opposite. They have left my account open and are continuing to charge me fees. I have documentation of the interactions and am on the phone with them now. At this moment the rep is stating she has. has gotten rid of the additional fee and closed the account but will not send me an email to confirm this. Finally after I pressed her, She gave me a confirmation number which I don't trust because, she was unable to send a confirmation email attesting to what she did to change my account. When I go online they still have my account open like none of this ever happened a month ago. They have yet to send me confirmation of account closure or reversal of a {$2.00} fee. They told me that 24 hours needs to pass before I get a confirmation letter/email. I believe this is a lie since I am attaching documentation of the lie told by another rep stating may account was closed last month. My account remains open. I do not recommend this card for anyone.

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX credit card through Comenity Bank. I receive my once a month XXXX check on the first of each month so I pay my bills as soon as I can. I had a balance of {$48.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I made my minimum payment of {$35.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, my due date was XX/XX/XXXX which should have reduced my balance to {$13.00}. Comenity bank charged me a {$35.00} late charge on XX/XX/XXXX. I have called several times trying to work this out with them and they have refused to remove the late charge and would not except my payment of {$13.00}. They say that my XX/XX/XXXX payment was applied to the XXXX statement!! How can they apply a payment I made in XXXX to XXXX? Now every month they are charging my account a {$35.00} late fee and interest and refuse to accept my payment of {$15.00}. I added {$2.00} in interest just trying to be fair of the amount I owe them. I have tried and talked to several different people and supervisors at Comenity Bank but they refuse over and over to correct my account or accept payment for what I owe. As of today 's date, they are staying my balance is over {$100.00}! Now I am afraid that this is going to ruin my credit report rating. I have never had a late payment on my account with Comenity Bank!!
