Consumer Complaint: As part of my closing and a refinance, BJs Master Card ( Comenity Bank ) was paid by the closing law firm of XXXX XXXX XXXX. This law firm sent BJs a payment on XX/XX/2021 after the refi. closing on XX/XX/2021. The payment was deposited into Capital Comenity Bank on XX/XX/2021 which would have given me a XXXX balance. I needed this done to close on a new property I am in the process to purchase. I sent Comenity Bank a copy ( emailed from the closing attorney ) a copy of the check with their stamp on it, " XX/XX/2021, Capital Comenity Bank ''. Comenity stated it would be up 90 days for them to investigate where the money went. I'm still being charged interest fees on an account that should be showing a XXXX balance. I've never been late on a payment, always pay more than the due amount, always pay early. I've been a great customer. Absolutely unacceptable.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft and I have submitted a notarized affidavit which serves as a legal document to my identity theft. I am also a victim of the XXXX breach and opted out of the settlement because I have suffered extreme losses due to the breach and the identity theft. I need the fraud accounts that are in my letter that is attached removed permanently from my file as I have also contacted the creditors as well. This is extreme in violation of my fair credit reporting act rights and I will seek legal recourse. I have also attached the printout of me being affected by the XXXX breach as well.

However, I sent a certified letter on XX/XX/XXXX with a return receipt asking the original creditor Comenity Bank to investigate the account listed above. I did not receive a response. I have attached a copy of letter I sent to Comenity Bank, copy of my credit report from all three bureaus showing the inaccuracies which is circled on all credit three reports and copy of the return receipt. How can this account be verified when each credit bureau is reporting this account differently? Thanks for your time and consideration in this matter.

I unfortunately I did not get his name, Needless to say he couldn't or wouldn't work with me. He stated that neither he nor I was at fault for the delay in mail delivery, but I will still be penalized. No If and or buts. I also inquired if whether their Covid 19 relief that they offed could help being that USPS struggles are likely due to the pandemic. He responded No. I have always paid above minimum, XXXX XXXX. I have used my credit union bill pay service for more than 15years, NEVER have I had this issue EVER with any other accounts I have set up for my Bill pay send auto payment to XXXX XXXX XXXX on the 5th of the month! Again My check is mailed on the 5th on any given month. Being that I am XXXX, on a fixed low income, which is deposited on the 2nd of every month, I really cant mail it any earlier than the 3rd of every month.

Consumer Complaint: I have spent almost 50 hours trying to resolve this its extremely frustrating and outrageous. I had an XXXX credit card, I made a purchase back in XXXX for a hair dryer and the cashier was new and accidentally charged me twice for the hair dryer. They assured me that they removed the charge however they DID NOT! This mistake has snowballed into this never ending nightmare which has really had bad effects on my credit report and is now a massive bill in collections even though XXXX has admitted to me on recorded line that they pulled up the transaction and it was a billing error on their end. They said that although it was there fault that they could not do anything to repair the damage because they were not connected to the credit card company! So Im caught in the middle of two corporations and I am getting bullied basically. Its really so frustrating

Consumer Complaint: Comenity bank on behalf of Wayfair card has given me so many issues while my card tenure with them. I finally paid off this card in full back on XXXX. They charged me interests during a month my card had already been paid off, then charged me a late fee over the already false interest charges. I have tried to get a representative in the line to help me but they never pick up the phone. The amount of money is minimal but I had already paid about this same amount as shown in the attached statement and besides that now theyve marked my account late when I didnt even owe anything. Please help me get this remove from my records.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity bank for XXXX 's clothing store ( credit card ). My bill was due on XX/XX/2021 for {$35.00}, I paid the account off in full on XXXX. In XXXX I get a report from the three credit bureaus regarding I have a late payment on my credit. I called Comenity Bank and spoke to XXXX XXXX # XXXX. She explained the above information to and said I owed over {$50.00}. I asked her again how is this possible when I paid if off on XXXX, the rep says well you didn't call to tell us your were paying off the {$35.00} so on XXXX your account was charged {$4.00} interest. I said on a {$0.00} balance? she said yes. I am floored at this point, if I paid this off how can you charge me interest? Not to mention she said this was paid off before my bill recycled. I asked her to remove the late fee that is now on my spotless credit record, she said she can't do that and does not know anyone who could. I asked to please waive these charges and take this off of my credit, she said she will wave the charges but i had to still pay {$14.00} to pay if off and if I am ever late again that amount that was waived would be re-applied to my credit card balance. WHO DOES THIS?

Consumer Complaint: After extensive review of credit report after a prior divorce from a fudiciary noticed this account, and have/had no clear recognition of this account/transaction or any of the kind or similar by this company or affiliates. I have tried contacting them on several occasions to inform them of XXXX status of XXXX XXXX and my XXXX XXXX XXXXf not being able to manage his/her own finances or contract in accordance with 38 CFR 3.353. After calling their customer service number multiple times and disputing the validity of the account all that would be done is more negative marks on credit report and harassment from the customer service representatives that were doing nothing to assist and only making accusations of false claims of XXXX status from military service related XXXX and XXXX related issues.
