Consumer Complaint: XXXX bought XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX . I was told I could finance interest free. Payed {$2000.00} down financed {$4900.00} through a co. called XXXX and signed a contract without completely reading it. Set up auto withdrawal from my checking of $ XXXX month and thought everything was taken care of. When I still owed {$390.00} after 24 months {$1600.00} in interest was charged to me. I see now the whole thing is designed to take advantage of people like me that get carelesswith signing what you think is a simple contract. I thought is was signing up for financing like you do buy a car not not some credit card co. that is waiting to pray on you.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I moved from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. At no time did I authorize XXXX to renew my membership as there is no store near my new address. Evidently they auto renewed and did not have my new address. This resulted in additional charges and referred them to a collection agency. I was called by the agency around XX/XX/XXXX and explained what happened to them. They had me call XXXX who canceled my membership and on XX/XX/XXXX refunded the change. On XX/XX/XXXX all charges were canceled per the collections company. I confirmed that with them and XXXX bank. However the negative report remains on my credit reports and has lowered my score significantly. I am in the process on obtaining a VA loan and my interest rate is significantly higher due to the negative report.Score went from XXXX to now XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I've been a customer for several years with XXXX XXXX and have made my payments on time. My initial credit limit was {$500.00} and decreased to {$150.00} today, XX/XX/XXXX. It's ridiculous how my credit line was dropped in XXXX from {$330.00} to {$200.00} and now to {$150.00}. Every time I have available credit of at least {$75.00} or more, my credit limit decreases. My credit score dropped 45 points from the previous decrease,, and I can imagine what it will be now that they've done it again. I've never in the history of having credit have experienced multiple credit line decreases in less than 6mos from a creditor. This is why I don't use the card now and will consider closing it after paying it in full. I called this morning and spoke to XXXX and he wasn't able to assist. Also, they didnt notify me prior to the change in my account. Its always when my new statement generates.

Consumer Complaint: On Saturday XX/XX/2020 we attended a XXXX XXXX Update at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX SC. Shortly thereafter I receive 2 Vacation Club Credit Account Statements in the mail from Comenity Bank. I did not sign any paper work requesting these accounts. I never received an actual card but the mail that came to me had the entire credit card number printed on it, along with the credit limit. This came in the regular mail. If it had gotten into the wrong hands, they would have all of my information. Since I did not ask for this card, I do not understand why they opened an account. it had to have been done through XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I received my order for a metal detector from XXXX XXXX XXXX My sons birthday was XX/XX/XXXX and realized it was not a metal detector used for finding items in sand, but a XXXX hand wand for weapons. XXXX said that I had to get my refund of {$160.00} from XXXX. I had a balance due from XXXX of {$95.00} and a long time cardholder. When they informed me they would not refund me I cancelled my card. Commenity bank will not stop charging late fees and my credit is important I returned this item on XX/XX/XXXX via USPS. They are calling non stop even though I requested them to stop. I spent Hours on phone but I am not going to pay for a returned item.

This account is being reported reflecting multiple " violation '' statements. I don't believe the status of this account is accurate. I urge your agency to reinvestigate this account and ensure that correct, fair, and complete reporting is given. I demand proof that you went through all the proper and logical steps that would have been necessary to validate or refute my dispute. If your agency is unable to do so, I demand that this account be removed from my credit report.
