Issue: Problem with fraud alerts or security freezes

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I noticed 2 fraudulent charges on my Ulta Comenity credit account for approximately $ XXXX ; one in XX/XX/2022 and one in XX/XX/2022. I contacted Ulta Comenity to speak with an agent. When I reached the agent, he said he was going to connect me to the Fraud Dept. but hung up on me after I waited almost an hour on the phone. I tried contacting the agent again, with no success, so I sent 2 messages. One message asking to freeze the account for any new purchases, and one to ask about recovering the money for the fraudulent charges. They replied by telling me to contact their Fraud Dept. by phone. This was very frustrating. I have frozen the account for any new purchases, I have reported the card stole, but now I can not access my online account to make a payment on my remaining balance. Please help me!!

Consumer Complaint: After looking through my bill I realized that I am being charged finance charges on my credit card bill twice at the end of the month. After finally reaching Comenity Bank and asked why I was being charged dual finance charges at month 's end billing. I was told because they took over the XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX in XXXX ( which business takeovers happen daily ) and I had a {$200.00} balance with XXXX XXXX. I was paying a finance charge on the {$200.00} purchases I had with XXXX XXXX and the new purchases I made with the card since Comenity Bank took over was a separate finance charge. I attempted reaching out to management via email and voice call without any correspondence. The bank is receiving multiple negative reviews with practices that doesn't make since to consumers. I have never been late on the account and since they have taken over this account from XXXX XXXX, there has been nothing but issues including online payment system going down for months and not having access to your account. Totally stressful!

On the XXXX on XXXX they sent me a questionnaire asking how I like there customer service. I in detail td them I want my account closed in no uncertain terms.this month they sent me a new bill with a {$6.00} charge on it. This account needs to be closed 100 %. Consumer Complaint: According to Title 15USC 1681 # 3, and # 4 XXXX assumed the role of protecting my privacy based on congressional order, However, they misused my credit report, and facilitated information without my consent and without my permission There is a need for the XXXX agency to practice their appropriate grades, per federal law and they are supposed to respect my right to privacy, but didnt exercise their responsibility. They did not exercise your grade responsibility they were unfair, partial and did not respect my right to privacy. They never had a permissible purpose nor did I instruct them to furnish this report, to create this report, and I never consented to this report in the first place. They grossly misrepresented my credit score to financial institutions for those reasons need to remove all inquiries, collection accounts, and charge offs, per violation of title laws.

Consumer Complaint: I previously had a card with XXXX Bank, Bread XXXX bought my debt and changed my card. Prior to this I had automatic payments set up on my account with XXXX, I get a phone call one day that my account is over 30 days late from the new card company. So I paid the bill, after I called my original company to find out what happened. During this time, I received no word from either company about this buyout, and I did not receive a statement from the new issuer, still they have reported my payment late, and refuse to amend it, aside from that they increased the interest rate on my balance and list it as a cash advance, all of which are issues now that I am trying to buy a home.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I went to XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, MO. I had paid the credit card off in XXXX, so there were little to no charges on the card at the time, and we purchased a total of XXXX items ; litter box, dog shampoo, dog brush, cat litter, and refreshing animal spray, and nail trimmers. I was charged {$250.00} for the original price ; however, the rewards were added to the wrong account, so they refunded the purchase. We did the transaction again ; this time, rewards were not added to the purchase, so the cashier refunded my card again. Finally, the final purchase was {$220.00}, which would be correct. When I received a statement for the credit card, there was a total of {$820.00} which showed four charges of {$250.00} and one charge of {$220.00} within the same day around the same time. I called the credit card company immediately, and the first representative called me a liar and accused me of trying to steal items, the second time, we were told it was a store issue. I called the store and spoke with the store manager ; he explained that there was nothing he could do on his end because he had only seen the refund and one transaction. I called the credit card company again and was still told we would have to speak with the store. A week or so later, I called the credit card company again, and we started a dispute ; nothing has been done so far. We then called again today, on XX/XX/XXXX, and the first rep spoken to was rude which seems to be common with this company. Finally, the final rep was kind and told us to try this since we were not getting anywhere with the store or credit card company. What was a {$220.00} purchase that resulted in charges over {$800.00}? I am being charged interest on this and still required to make payments even though these purchases are incorrect. This company has hurt my credit, caused too much stress, and all around is not helpful.

Consumer Complaint: I was coerced into signing up for a XXXX XXXX by a salesclerk at a XXXX store and I did. I signed up for the card and purchased to items with the card. However right after I purchased the items I returned to my residency at my university and therefore never received the card because it was sent to my home address. After a couple of months passed I received a call from Comenity Capital bank saying that I was overdue on the payment and therefore would have to pay XXXX which I did. A couple of months go by and I make another purchase at XXXX with my card ( though I still don't have the physical card so I have to use my phone number associated with it ). This time I make sure to pay it within a reasonable time frame so I can avoid the interest fees. However without a card I have to call to make the payment. I call to make the payment with a representative to make a payment, and then I am directed to a machine. The machine is unable to process my payment so I have to call back to speak to a representative to make the payment with the representative. The representative tells me I have a payment coming up THAT IS NOT DUE YET but I can still make the payment with her for a fee.I told the lady as there was no other option for me I did not think it was fair for me to pay a fee and she agreed to waive it ( though I was still charged an additional fee ). Now I am receiving calls from Comenity saying that I owe them a late payment fee of over XXXX dollars because my recent payment ( the one I was told was not due yet ) was overdue, and I did not pay it for 6 months so the interest accrued ( XXXX per month for 6 months ). This was not what I was told on the phone and now it is also my affecting my credit score. Please do something. I have proof that I paid the balances that I described in FULL.
