Consumer Complaint: This company is pure evil and sick. They harass you and your family and they have a record of doing it intentionally. They hunt down your family members and harass them with false information using your personally identifiable information. I suffered irreparable harm from their wrongdoing and it has caused damage between my family and me. My mother and I no longer have a positive connection due to the false and misleading, and deceptive trade practices this company uses against consumers. This company uses threatening and extortionate means in ways to collect an alleged debt. I the consumer am making this complaint to bring light to the harm that this company has been intentionally inflicting on thousands of consumers daily. They have no regard for a consumer 's right to privacy. It is time that the CFPB takes action against this company for its abusive debt collection practices. They conspire with other corporations to deprive consumers of their inalienable rights by using vigorous methods to extort consumers. They a well known for violating several of the acts that congress has placed to protect consumers. They willfully and knowingly will ignore your efforts to have your information corrected in their database. They even violate their policies and can not be trusted. If you are a consumer like me, the time has come to report this company 's actions to our elected officials to bring awareness to a seemingly endless black hole of deception.

Consumer Complaint: I am filing a complaint with the New York State Attorney General and speaking to a lawyer because Comenity Bank system has been down going on three months I along with hundreds of others can not make a payment through their website through easy pay or with customer service however they refuse to take responsibility and instead are reporting me as delinquent to the credit reporting agencies as well as having pulled a hard inquiry without my permission which they stated it was an error and would be removed which it has not. I have attached a video of me clicking on a link from an email sent to me by comenity in order to pay my bill which is a broken link. This has been sent to me numerous times and I have only been able to contact comenity through XXXXXXXX XXXX and have let them known about this

Consumer Complaint: For the past 3 months, I've had nothing but problems with making a payment. Most recently, I was informed that I entered a wrong account number ( not true ). When I tried to pay by phone, I was informed that because my bank had returned my last payment, I would have to use another bank account! I do not have another bank account. I am willing to work with the company to get this problem fixed once and for all, but it has been TOTALLY uncooperative. Rarely can I reach customer service by phone. I used to be able to pay online in just a few seconds. But I have recently spent hours trying to fix the problem. I don't know what else to do but to file this complaint.

They keep saying that they can't take my payment but then contact me multiple times saying they are trying to collect on a debt. I have mentioned to them previously that their dialer system contacts consumers multiple times in one day and this is in violation of my rights. I was told it was fixed. Today, XX/XX/2022, I received 5 calls between XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I believe this to be annoying and harassing as well as against my rights as a consumer. I asked again why I can't make payments through my account online only to be told that they are still doing " updates ''.

Consumer Complaint: Account ( ... XXXX ) I made three purchases that were " held '' buy the company when I was trying to send my cousin some clothes for a new job. I cancelled those transactions as they were hung up in the system. Also once I made a mistake on the address and they had to cancel. Eventually, she received her order billed on XX/XX/XXXX. My issue is with the three pre-authorizations created XX/XX/XXXX through XXXX. I confirmed the orders were cancelled with XXXX XXXX. They are still " holding '' my account hostage 8 weeks later. I tried to call the credit card folks but they kept shuffling me around and half the time I ended up in customer service. I have tried calling numbers given to me, but they end up in an automated queue to check balance and so on. I have left messages on the website too. Just no response that is helpful. Consumer Complaint: I paid off my account on XX/XX/2022 and had a credit balance. I closed the account on XX/XX/2022, this was confirmed by Comenity in a secure message. I received a statement on XX/XX/2022 stating I owed XXXX in interest charge. I was upset but I was going to pay the {$14.00}. I attempted throughout the next month to pay the {$14.00} but there system and phones were down due to a merge with Bread Financial. I was not able to see the account until I got a phone call saying I now owed {$66.00} due to late fees and interest, although the website stated that all late charges would be waived. I paid the {$14.00} over the phone and advised that I would not be paying anymore because my account was closed, according to them on XX/XX/2022 and I was unable to access any contact with anyone to pay the illegal interest of XXXX.
