Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received the following notification from XXXX " CCB/BREADCASHBACK made a Bank / Credit Card Inquiry by checking your XXXX Credit File '' The address listed is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, OH XXXX. I have made no new credit applications and am not familar with this bank. I have made a report with XXXX. I tried to find company information online and found several links to this bank but all were ads and promotions for opening new credit card accounts. Other than the above address I could not not find a phone number or other contact information for this bank. I do not know if this is an issue with this bank or of someone committing fraud. Around XXXX I was the victim of someone filing a false federal income tax report using my information.

They also found another card from The Childrens Place taken out in my name which they closed, that also had charges already on it. I do not own that card either. Just received The Childrens Place card in the mail yesterday. I was told to file this report & will be filing a report with my local police.

Consumer Complaint: I received a bill on my XXXX Comenity Mastercard that was due on XX/XX/28, I made a partial payment in a timely fashion. I then received a bill for the next month due on XX/XX/28 which included interest due to the partial payment on XX/XX/28. That interest charge is understandable. I then proceeded to pay that bill in full again prior to the due date. That payment in full was acknowledged by XXXX. My next bill due on XX/XX/28 also included an interest charge, even though the previous bill had been paid in full before the due date. I did call XXXX and inquired about the interest charge even though the payment was made in full. Their response was that when the card changed from All Rewards to XXXX it included " residual interest '' even though there was no balance overdue and the card had been paid in full. I believe this " residual interest '' is an unfair charge as the balance was paid in full and should not have accrued any interest whatsoever. It is also interesting to note that the interest on the XX/XX/28 partial payment was only slightly more than the interest charged even though the account had been paid in full. This amounts to unfair charges to the consumer. My account with them will be cancelled. I do hope you publish this and warn others of how this company operates, especially in times of inflation.

Their website was down for a long stretch then, not allowing me to make payments or monitor my account. Their website has been down for almost a week again. I am on paperless billing so have no way to monitor my account against fraudulent charges! I have been forced to make minimum payments without being able to check my account transactions to insure they are legitimate charges.

Consumer Complaint: This is not a duplicate nor is this complaint being filed by a third party, I am filing this complaint myself. Please see this complaint is processed to the letter of the law, When I investigated my credit report, I realized that some of the information was erroneous. The XXXX and XXXX credit bureaus are required to authenticate this account under Sections 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and 611 ( a ) ( 1 ). ( A ) .as required under Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) Disclosures to consumers [ 15 U.S.C. 1681g ] ( ( a ) Information on file ; sources ; report recipients. XXXX and XXXX shall, upon request, and subject to 610 ( a ) ( 1 ) [ 1681h ], clearly and accurately disclose to the consumer. If the consumer to whom the file relates requests that the first 5 digits of the social security number ( or similar identification number ) of the consumer not be included in the disclosure and the consumer reporting agency has received appropriate proof of the identity of the requester, the consumer reporting agency shall so truncate such number in such disclosure. & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [ 15 U.S.C. 1681i ] ( a ) Reinvestigations of Disputed Information. Consumer Complaint: I am reporting this company along with the credit reporting agencies for allowing these fraudulent accounts to stay on my reports, even though Ive given them ample proof that I not only DONT OWN THESE ACCOUNTS..But ALSO, Ive never even heard of these people EVER! The company Comenity Bank keeps saying that the information is accurate, but hasnt provided ONE ounce of proof other than telling the reporting agencies that the information is being reported accuratelyWHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE BECAUSE I NEVER OPENED ANY ACCOUNT WITH COMENITY BANK OR ITS AFFILIATES, and its a shame that the credit reporting agencies are allowing this, CONSIDERING I HAVE FRAUD ALERTS ON ALL THE REPORTING AGENCIES, along with NUMEROUS FRAUDULENT ACCOUNTS ALREADY BEING REMOVED FROM MY REPORTS BECAUSE OF THE SAME THING. YET ALL THREE AGENCIES KEEP ALLOWING THIS COMPANY AND OTHERS TO SAY THE INFORMATION IF ACCURATE, JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A FEW PIECES OF INFORMATION.
