Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX credit card account with commenity bank. I wanted to cancel my payment and make a different amount. This guy I talked to told me it was to late to cancel it. So he issued me a refund. I called today to check on the refund this female employee started to argue saying they don't issue refunds. I told her yes I have gotten refunds before. She acted as it bothered her I even got a refund. I have other community credit cards and I was issued a refund because it was too late for the payment to be canceled.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased XXXX XXXX tickets, three of them, in the summer of XXXX for a show in the summer of XXXX. The concert was canceled because of COVID and rescheduled for a later date, at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, the rescheduled event was also canceled because of severe weather and lightning storms. XXXX did not reschedule a third time and said payments would be refunded. During this period I was in the process of switching banks because XXXX was going out of business. My credit card was a XXXX Comenity Card which I closed in XXXX of XXXX. They are saying they sent me a check for {$470.00} in late XXXX. They did not have any reference/proof that they did. I asked them to send a copy of the canceled check and we would pay them back, knowing I never received the check, that I had moved, and that I had closed the XXXX Comenity Card. A year later in the summer of XXXX, after many phone conversations with Comenity, they did indeed send us a check to refund the 3 tickets and I cashed it and thought the whole issue was resolved. One month later I received a new bill stating that I owed the {$470.00} again. I spoke with customer service and they said they would look into it. I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX saying that we still owe the money with no proof that a check was originally sent to me and cashed.

Consumer Complaint: Hello. So years ago I opened a BJs card through comenity Bank I beleive. Just now I checked my score to see it lowered with a delinquent account listed as BJs. I don't even have the card any longer but DID call to resolve the issue ASAP and entered my social. My account information was retrived through automated process. I was read that I've a balance of XXXX and my last recorded payment is XXXX of last year. I also requested a " XXXX balance letter '' whatever that is. It said it'd mail it to my known address- but it didn't say what that is or offer for me to enter or confirm it. Soo I combed through my emails from XXXX and Comenity. The ONLY stuff I can find is spam and anything applicable to overdue payment, an account balance, ect- is absolutely nonexistent. I want this account closed and this removed as soon as possible please. Also when I follow the link through the generated email my phone alerts me that the site is NOT Safe. I don't trust this company nor thier credit reporting. I've gone out of my way ( just noticed this XXXX hour ago ) and every piece of information I can find tells me I've XXXX balance and I've absolutely no email correspondence or mail correspondence regarding the account. I'm pretty XXXX!

Consumer Complaint: Friday XX/XX/2022 I received a bill from my XXXX credit card. I viewed the bill and it had 1 charge for XXXX dollars that I did not make. I notified them immediately there was a fraudulent charge on my account. They told me I was required to pay the bill or I would be assessed a late fee. The only thing on that statement was the fraudulent charge and they are requiring payment or I will be assessed a late fee. They also did not even cancel the card and provide a new card with a new number they just left me with the old card number that had fraudulent charges on it. I chose to cancel the card and not do business with XXXX again.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to schedule a payment for my Bjs XXXX XXXX that was due on XX/XX/2022, but the website was down. I contacted the company multiple times who assured me my payment was received and that my account was in good standing, but when I log in my account says past due. If I try to pay again the website will not let me as it has already been scheduled. I contacted them again on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and they still have not resolved this issue, despite it being on the news that their websites are down and they are charging consumers fines when the technical issue is on their end. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I have never missed a payment and am always timely with bills. Thank you sincerely.

I was told there was an error in updating credit reports and it would be fixed within 45 days. The balance still remains on my report. I also reached out a second time and got a generic message that it would be handled. I am delaying a purchase because this balance ( that doesnt exist ) is negatively impacting my score.
