Consumer Complaint: In XXXX this year I submitted an online order to Sephora ( card provided by Comenity Bank, Bread Financial ), only to find out the card I had expired XX/XX/XXXX that I'd had since XXXX ). I called/ or emailed from my account to customer service in XXXX ( then in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX & XXXX ), XXXX times since the card expired, and each time was told a " replacement '' card was to be mailed for the XXXX ( XXXX ) not received. I have gone to my local post office to advise the carrier of the situation. The local branch and the carrier have no evidence of ANY cards being received. I've also verified my address with the credit card company. NOT ONE CARD has been produced on any occasion that the credit card company SAY they mailed a new card. My box is in a series of locked boxes, and in contrast, another credit card company mailed a replacement after a small unknown charge on the card before. I received that one in 7 days!

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to call the XXXX XXXX Need to make a payment? Visit COMENITY.XXXX of call XXXX telephone number to select the make a payment. Instead of being given the make a payment option the automated system transferred me to a customer service person, XXXX Sunday, XX/XX/2023, at approximately XXXX XXXX. I asked to be transferred to the automated payment center and said someone has set my telephone number up in the XXXX telephone payment system so when I call to pay I am transferred to a live person and I want that removed from my account. XXXX then said something about there being a charge off, told me to tell her my card number and as I went to get the card out of my wallet she said assertively give me your card number. This caused me to respond saying what do you think I have my card in my hand. XXXX then said well you did not say anything so I did not know if you heard me, you do not have to be rude. I then disconnected the call because I was being harassed and being talked to rudely. I had to call back and ask to be transferred to automated payment center to make my payment due.

Consumer Complaint: After AAA switched credit card vendors to Comenity Bank, this new vendor seemed unable to process my payments properly. After several months of on-time complete payments of full balance not showing up on my statements, I stopped using the card. Twice they even sent my payment check back to me saying they did not know what account to credit this payment to, even though the final digits of the account number were printed right on the check. Of course the checks were sent back to them by me, but then they proceeded to charge me late fees and interest ( for payments I had made on time and in full ) and now, they are ruining my credit with the credit agencies, claiming I have not paid my bill ( s ). My bank ( XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) does use a third-party bill payment vendor, but I have proof that all payments were sent on time ( to the correct [ listed/bill payment ] address ) and this has been confirmed by my bank. Before the switch to Comenity bank, I have NEVER had ANY problems sending credit card payments to ANY OTHER credit card company. EVER. BTW : In their correspondence, their letterhead address has typos so it makes corresponding with them an unsure gamble.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023, I shopped at XXXX and signed up for a store card offered by XXXX. In paying for the merchandise via my bank, XXXX, the payment was XXXX day late due to XXXX error. I called at least XXXX times to resolve the issue with late fees and was transferred from person to person, spending hours of personal time trying to resolve the issue, including documentation from XXXX. From a {$15.00} late fee from XXXX they refused to credit, they continue to add fees and interest and extra charges. They leave me messages to resolve but when I call, they keep asking me for higher and higher payment amounts. The merchandise I purchased has been paid for and I do not want to do business with Comenity. I would like this issue resolved.
