Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 : Went to XXXX to make a purchase and card declined. Called Credit Card company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they stated that I had a {$48.00} payment that was due on XX/XX/2023, that had not been paid. I asked if I could set up a payment for XX/XX/2023 to pay the amount. They stated that if I scheduled the payment, I still will not have access to use the card. I asked if I make a payment today, could I use the card. They stated yes. I made payment and called back. A second representative told me that my card is locked and will be locked until the next billing cycle ( XX/XX/2023 ). I told them that I already made a payment, but they told me that I still would have to wait. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me that they would tell me the same thing. I called back a third time and the 3rd representative told me that I would not have to wait until XX/XX/2023, but I still would not be able to use my card on this day because they need to make sure that the payment will go through. They will wait until the payment processes in 2-3 business days, then they will unlock my card. I asked was this in the terms and conditions and the representative looked, but could not find it. I looked myself and did not see in the terms and conditions where they can suspend transactions for being a few days late on your bill.

Consumer Complaint: I previously submitted a complaint to the CFPB on XX/XX/XXXX against Comenity Capital Bank due to unfair practices of not letting me pay off my debt despite calling and following up with them multiple times, and hitting me with delinquent payments and hurting my credit score. My credit score has still not returned to the original value it was at before I had opened a card with this bank. I have always responsibly paid off all my debts and worked extremely hard to increase my XXXX XXXX. Please see the attached file for my earlier credit scores ( in XX/XX/XXXX ), where XXXX was XXXX ( I'm currently only at XXXX ), and XXXX was at XXXX ( currently only at XXXX ).
