This had affected my credit because they reported this to my credit report, and event after I ask to close my account they refuse to close my account and continue charging interes on XXXX balance account.

Consumer Complaint: I called my XXXX XXXX XXXX from Comenity Bank customer service today on XX/XX/2023. To simply ask for a new card to be sent to the mail because I lost my old one. I was put on hold for a while and transferred to fraud protection and the lady told me that my account has been closed due to suspicious activity. And I told her what activity? I've been using my card frequently and been paying on time. She kept telling me that a letter will be sent to me and that there's nothing else I can do. I asked if she can transfer me to someone who can help me or give me a number to someone who can help me but she told me that I'm already speaking directly to the bank and that if i wanted i can reapply in XXXX. before calling customer service I was already on my account online I had XXXX in credit available. By the time the call was over I loged in again and all of a sudden XXXX credit was available and no due date. I don't understand why they messed with my account for no reason. I've been paying on time and it's unfair that my credit score is going to take a hit

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Comenity Capital Bank closed my credit card account that I have through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . I called them Today XX/XX/XXXX after getting notification via my XXXX credit report that the account was closed and spoke with them about re-opening the account and was told it was possible by one representative due to it not being closed more than XXXX days. Our call was disconnected and I called back and the next representative that I spoke with told me that it was not possible to re-open and that My account was closed by the bank due to inactivity, however my credit report states it was closed at my request. XXXX stated that they sent me a letter which I did not receive due to me being out of town and helping my mom who has XXXX so I was unware that this was going to take place. XXXX was the last time the card was used and it was due to XXXX reason for me not using the card due to spread of the virus through contact of items etc I was afraid to even order anything or shop in store.

Unfortunately, when I notified collision benefit, at XXXX on XX/XX/23 that the car was damaged and I was billed {$2200.00}, they insisted that I have no collision benefits. I again called visa at XXXX and they again insist that I do have coverage. Spoke with XXXX a supervisor. XXXX is responsible for this XXXX bill whether I have coverage or not. Telling customers they have benefits when they do not is False Advertising and even Fraud

Consumer Complaint: I applied for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX. I received a letter on XXXX stating that I needed to call in so they could verify some details. They asked for a phone number to verify that they could send me a code. They said the phone number I provided didn't work ( it was a XXXX XXXX phone number ) and that I would not be able to try again. They said I could re-apply in 30 days but it would be another hard pull on my credit report. So I was denied a new credit line not for any dings on my actual credit report but because the phone number I provided for verification didn't work and they could not try any other phone number. This is definitely an extremely trivial reason to deny a credit application.

Consumer Complaint: Received XXXX Credit card statement with bill close date XX/XX/XXXX. With return and payment all amount due on that bill was paid before due date of XX/XX/XXXX. New bill came in with closing date of XX/XX/XXXX which included a purchase on XX/XX/XXXX ( after the XX/XX/XXXX closing date ), Was charged a XXXX late fee for the purchase that was made after the XX/XX/XXXX closing date of the previous bill. Called and complained and they said would do me a one time favor of deleting the late fee. Called a second time and they still believe it was correct and would not understand how it could be late if you only billed me on the XX/XX/XXXX bill and the previous bill was paid in full. In all my years experience with store, bank credit cards this is never done and I believe XXXX Department store is doing something that is illegal.

Consumer Complaint: I applied to the Ulta Rewards Credit Card in store while shopping one day ( fell for the employee contest and figured it wouldnt hurt ). Only used it for that single purchase ( giving the card a balance of less than {$100.00} ), and didnt plan on using it often after this. I missed an initial payment, was charged the late fee, justifiably, but called and told the representative to pay the entire balance over the phone. I was told it was done, and took her word. Time passes and I finally had a chance to catch up on things that slipped through. Saw that I had an account negatively impacting my credit, and its this account that should have been closed months prior to this. The only balance on the card is late fees that are being continuously stacked on one another, which is not only absurd due to the process of charging late fees for late fees ( that shouldnt have even been charged to begin with ), but it is also impacting my credit score to my detriment

Then I opened a bug lots card and this is where it started the card was sold never got a statement finally talk to them get my payments finally straightened around then these where aold I have always had these cards on auto pay they where sold to bread financial never a notice so my payment was late on maurices because they dropped my auto pay. So I get letters stating they dropped all my credit limits way low. Which has now affected my credit score. This is the company fault I have called numerous times and they state everything is good then its not. Also my home is paid in full thats why it doesnt show in my credit report

Consumer Complaint: Misleading information by customer service on the dates and months this account was closed, investigated, requested by the customer of hardship the amount presented to paid while on XXXX months paid on time. The months of late payments in XXXX are unacceptable. A request follow-up from the credit report on the payment history before XX/XX/2022. Good credit / exceptional. I want an investigation done on this company as a whole! Until I filed a dispute, I called them several times. They never told me this account was closed each time I requested. Was it possible to use this card? Yes! Why did I pay the necessary cost to get back on track if it was closed? Indeed, I didn't want this card closed for having a significant limit to help me and my family survive this economic crisis. Once, I told a supervisor would get back to me to help activate my card after attempting to use it at the market twice was declined. I followed each transaction to keep this account active by borrowing money and got disappointment. Today, my credit is showing late payments, and I can't get any other support causes of these late payments on my credit by this company! I need my good credit rating back, and please advise me.
