Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card, I paid the balance of {$46.00} on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. The card was paid in full. The bill is due on the XXXX of every month. The store went out of business in XXXX. I keep receiving calls from comedity bank stating I owe a late fee of {$31.00} on an account that was paid in full on XX/XX/2023. I asked how can I be charge a late fee on an account that was paid in full before the due date. They said they would wave a {$2.00} interest fee but will not wave a late fee of {$31.00} that is being charge for the {$2.00} interest fee.which make no sense, seeing tha the card balance was paid in full prior to the due date.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity closed my XXXX account several years ago but I still had a balance. I have been paying the min payment of {$30.00} for years. I noticed in XXXX that my balance was {$32.00} so I decided to pay over the min payment of {$30.00} and just pay the balance on the due date. I submitted a manual payment and stopped my auto pay since now the balance was XXXX. I got an email today saying I needed to make my payment for {$2.00}. When I logged in, I checked my statement and it says this is the minimum interest charge. I feel this was an error since the account has been closed for years and I paid the balance in XXXX. I called the card company, explained this- we agree that the account is closed, and I paid the total balance due on the due date. However- they are trying to tell me that I owe the {$2.00} because of " residual interest '' and its from an old purchase. I do not accept this explanation and I told them to XXXX out the account and remove the fee since the account is CLOSED. They were unable to do this. I advised I would be making a complaint.

Consumer Complaint: The niece put in for a card with Victoria 's Secret, asked me if I wanted to be included on it, I said yes. It was before XXXX of XXXX I informed the niece that it would be her XXXX present. The bill came late in XXXX. We paid it and included was a note by us saying that the Victoria secret was late sending the bill. In XXXX the bill came without the payment that we sent previously being credited to the account. My niece called them and was put on hold for XXXX XXXX. after talking to someone at Victoria secret 's space command the niece informed me that we are going to have problems with these people. In the interim I had audited my checks to see which ones had been cashed by them and which ones were still not cleared. we came to the realization that they ( Victoria secret had been overpaid ). My niece again called them a few weeks later around XXXX and got someone from a different galaxy. My niece informed Victoria secret that we had not signed up for the headache, the insurance scam they were adding to the account and the late fees. The niece had retuned some of the items purchased and the credit was not being shown on the account. I called Victoria secret in XXXX, pointed out the discrepancies to them. I stated to my niece that the Victoria secret people are not from this planet. My niece apologized and said I'll use the XXXX XXXX next time if there is a next time at Victoria secret.XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Hello, This is regarding the closed claim # XXXX filed on XX/XX/XXXX with Comenity Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card issuer. I see that the bank responded with the following message via your website ( I never received any letters or notifications from them with any explanation before I found their response here ) : 1. " We received your payment of {$95.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ; however, since it was paid on your old account ending XXXX, the payment didnt apply to this account and was returned to your bank on XX/XX/XXXX. '' - I never received any {$95.00} back on XX/XX/XXXX - this NOT true. XXXX. " We've issued a refund check for {$77.00} '' - it was received but no explanation was provided. XXXX. I had to pay an extra {$170.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, to close the account, so they wouldn't be reporting me as a delinquent account. So they charged me TWICE, actually- on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. 4. " Weve reviewed the relevant telephone calls, XXXX XXXX XXXX correspondence, and the disputed information. We found instances where your concerns were not addressed and the account wasnt serviced to our standards. Please accept our apology. Were committed to providing the best customer service and are disappointed when this standard isnt met. '' - Their customer service was the WORST nightmare ever. I've never experienced such an unprofessional handling of an issue in my life that was going on for almost 7 months! Because of this situation, my credit score was at the XXXX point and went XXXX to a XXXX XXXX I was stressed out, had health issues, and had XXXX for several months due to this situation.
