Consumer Complaint: I am XXXX XXXX and I am submitting this complaint myself and there is no third party involved. I have been patiently waiting on their response to the written requests I sent on XXXX and XXXX. However, any modes of response or coordination were not taken on their end. They have not complied with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, XXXX XXXX Sections XXXX within the time allowed by law and continued reporting as unverified information which now, given all my attempts to address it directly with the creditor, as willful negligence and non-compliance with federal statutes. Below is the erroneous inquiry reporting on my Credit Report : BARCLAYS BANK DELAWARE Inquiry Date XX/XX/2021

Issue: Advertising and marketing, including promotional offers
Subissue: Didn't receive advertised or promotional terms
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I applied online and was approved for the XXXX XXXX " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' issued by Barclaycard US XXXX Barclays Bank, Delaware ), As you can see in the attached scan of a Barclaycard handout ( one of severaI collected on XXXX XXXX flights over the past months ), I was promised the first-year membership free. As directed, I entered the handwritten code on the card application website, so my flight attendant would get her reward for the sale. Yet, on my account ( also attached ) I was billed a {$99.00} first year membership fee, and on 3 separate calls to Barclaycard US the most recent on XX/XX/XXXX I was unable to get the fee reversed. Most astoundingly, the Barclays agents all insisted it was my fault. They told me I must have responded to an ad that did not feature the fee waiver. I understand that they recently had two sets of ads running -- one with and one without the fee waiver offer, which is a recipe for confusion -- but I am 100 % certain I used the offer on the attached ad, and followed instructions on the webpage indicated. Approximately XXXX year ago, my son had the same thing happen with him when obtaining a XXXX XXXX credit card. Unlike me, however, my son was able to get the fee reversed after several complaints to the bank. I believe this represents a pattern of promotional " errors '' at Barclaycard US, and I would hazard a guess that the majority of them are in the bank 's favor. CFPB should investigate as Barclaycard is in the midst of a marketing blitz promoting co-branded cards with XXXX, JetBlue, XXXX and other travel providers,

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Overcharged for something you did purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: I've tried to contact barclays about a purchase made on XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX and couldn't be helped by this company. I made a purchase from XXXX and the business later on sent me an email saying that an error had happened and one of the items I've order was out of stock but didn't show it on the site. I then had them cancel that item for {$7.00}. After multiple contacts with the business, they all told me they see the mistake they had made, which only gave me a partial refund of {$2.00} they said they would fix it. Weeks went past as I watched my credit card statement and no correct refund was applied, I kept contacting them ( 3 times in all ) and each person told me the same thing, that they see the mistake on their side but is refusing to correct the issue maybe in hopes I'll give up so they can scam me out of a few dollars like maybe others. Well today ( XXXX ) I've tried to contact barclay and they too are refusing to help me get my refund back of {$5.00}. Sad that no one can assist with a {$5.00} refund and I have to come here.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: To summarize, Barclays charged me {$220.00} interest on a purchase that was not even due to be paid yet. My last statement on XXXX was only {$280.00}, so the interest is not on the previous balance. The next statement ending on XXXX showed a balance of {$15000.00} due on XXXX. In this statement period ( XXXX ), I made a {$12000.00} purchase. This purchase was made on XXXX, within the statement period of XXXX. The statement charged interest on this purchase immediately, and added an interest charge for that period XXXX before the statement due date of XXXX, or even before the closing date of XXXX. I have tried to resolve this several times via phone, via message on the Barclays site on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and via email to the office of Barclays president on XXXX, with no reply. I believe this is violation of the credit Card Act of 2009, and other laws governing credit card companies. Please help me resolve this matter. Thank you, M # # # # D # # # # #

Consumer Complaint: According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C 1666b - Timing of Payments, Barclays is in violation of my consumer rights. Pursuing 15 U.S.C 1666b reporting any late payments on a open-ended consumer credit plan is illegal and must be updated as positive. A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open-ended consumer credit plan as a late payment for any purpose.

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I was victimized by a moving company who charged my XXXX from Barclay Bank for {$8200.00} which was never authorized by me or my wife. I timely reported this fraud/dispute. Barclay then granted my dispute, then denied it and lastly denied it claiming I had not timely filed it. The allegation that my claim was not timely filed is false. I filed over the phone within minutes of discovering the fraud and in writing within 60 days. I would like the charge to be put back on my account plus interest and any other relief. Barclay 's advertises that fraudulent charges will not be paid. Plus, I informed them not to pay it BEFORE, they actually paid it.

Consumer Complaint: I have had an XXXX credit card for over seven years and have never been late. They were with XXXX bank and switched over to Barclays Bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in XX/XX/2021. I was not aware of the switch over and didn't receive their card until XX/XX/2021. When I realized the switch over I went online to see what was going on and discovered they were showing a late payment. I called them ( Barclays ) immediately to get it straightened out. They said there were glitches in the switch over apologized for the error, removed late charges and assured me that a late payment would not be reported to the credit bureau. Today I checked my credit report because I received notice from XXXX that my credit score had dropped considerably ( XXXX points ). When I checked my report I found that Barclays had reported a late payment for the month of XXXX. I pride myself in always being on time with all my payments and have never been late on any payment in over 20 years. I called Barclays on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX a.m. and they would do nothing to help me. I believe their reporting practices should be investigated. Please review my credit report which will show you years of on time payments.. Thank You for your help.

I believe it was done on the XXXX and I recieved notifications today of an account being opened.
