Consumer Complaint: We opened a XXXX XXXX account at Bank Of America in roughly XXXX It was noticed that service fees were being charged to the account. We addressed it in XXXX and now we noticed we are still are receiving periodic fees. Our daughter is XXXX at this point. We went to the bank location XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX to address it and today XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and met with XXXX XXXX. We also called Customer Svc XXXX and spoke with XXXX XXXX and his supervisor XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. They addressed the current charges but could not go beyond the current year. The largest concern i ask them to address was the fact they had the date of birth in the profile of the XXXX and they still are charging them fees. If it has happened to us twice, I know it its wide spread. I ask them to file an internal complaint on this but doubt they will do anything. The {$5.00} a month from however many accounts is probably worth the random complaints. They should not be taking advantage of XXXX in this day and age. They should be able to use the date of birth to prevent this.

Consumer Complaint: Sometime in XX/XX/2022 Bank of America ran a hard inquiry on my credit and made my credit score drop. I tried reaching out to them to let them know I wasn't the XXXX applying for credit with their financial institution because I don't use Bank of America. They gave me the rum around and never solved the problem and this hard inquiry is still in my credit report. They were suppose to send a letter to me and XXXX but I never got any letter about removing this Hard inquiry from my credit and I don't even think XXXX got that letter either. I need this to be solved because Bank of America needs to do better with their fraud department when it comes to cases like this.
