Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 at about XXXX o 'clock in the morning to 7387 Day XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Bank of America XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. 1 To make out a cash check for {$250.00}. 2. I deposited {$5200.00} in cash and got the receipt of {$5200.00} issued by Teller when I saw that the money counting machine was finished. I was sure that it was correct and then I left. In addition, I had worked hard to earn the money, and Teller did not see XXXX dollars of it at a single word. I could not believe it and could not accept it.I can provide more evidence, but no one at the bank communicated with me. I called the police, all the customer service numbers of Bank of America.I can't find their manager. I need my money back.

Consumer Complaint: Bank Of American employees asked for documentation that was not needed and placed their name on my insurance Policy before the loan was processed and closed. They asked for proof of every Bank Account I owned, all Stock I owned and copies of all property ( Houses ) I own and the submit it with 3 days. My home has over XXXX Dollars worth of equity in it to secure a {$50.00}. Loan. I have Good Credit. I did apply to buy a New Home and they were informed by my Insurance Company XXXX I own other property and assumed I wanted to buy a new house. My letter of intent stated to pay off 2 high interest credit cards with BOA and Home improvements. I could have lost my entire estate for their actions. They did not have the right to place their name on my Insurance Policy or request information on other property to attach their names to Insure the Loan. This is Discrimination in the worst form to Steal from a XXXX XXXX. I was told they needed this information to prove I was not hiding money. I have copies and Names of the employees involved in the plot to steal my Estate from me. My children could have lost my entire Estate and BOA would have taken my Estate or received Insurance money if I died or defaulted on the Loan.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I sold some stock from XXXX XXXX ( CS ) and requested a direct transfer of the proceedings to my Bank of America NA ( BOA ) account. It seems the proceedings around $ XXXX got transferred to an incorrect account as the the account number in XXXX was incorrect but the Name and the the routing number were correct. Here the details of my actions without any results. XX/XX/2022 - The transfer was made from XXXX XXXX to BOA. XXXXXXXX XXXX - Run around between help desks to find where the money went. No one would tell me where the funds were deposited. BOA told me depending on the type of transfer ACH or Wire it would have rejected and sent back to XXXX Bank ( XXXX XXXX ) if the three things did not match - Account Number, Account Name and Routing number and it may take longer for sending bank to receive the funds back if it was a wire transfer. I finally asked for escalation in XXXX and they assigned a Cust Serv Analyst representative ( CSA rep. ) to work with me. XX/XX/2022 - to date I have been working with the XXXX CSA rep. with no luck. Here are the details of research. XXXX CSA rep. helped me get the details on the funds transfer XXXX File and also a letter with details on the funds transferred. It was an ACH transfer and the funds got deposited into someone else 's BOA account even though the Name on the account is different. I also went to the local BOA branch ( XXXX ) the Cust. Serv. Rep. said they could see where it got transferred to and they could not do anything but call the central support on the issue. They also mentioned that the account holder would not have realized it as it was some with lot of money and had a lot of heavy transactions. They could not do anything and XXXX XXXX has to initiate the request. Now BOA wants a " Hold Harmless Agreement '' from XXXX XXXX along with a request to return funds with details ( the letter provided should suffice ) to be faxed to ( XXXX ) XXXX - XXXX. Then BOA will send the funds back to XXXX XXXX. The Hold Harmless Agreement template should be available with XXXX XXXX or on the Internet. XXXX CSA went to their CS legal who declined on giving anything from XXXX, so lastly the CSA was going to reach out to XXXX XXXX and see ... and she has not responded to me over a month. I do not know the situation of my funds nor have any idea on the approach. Should I go to lawyer or someone in the press with this issue? This seems to be a systemic issue which needs to be addressed. Why would Bank of America deposit the funds without checking the name on the account even if the account number was incorrect? Why didn't XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ensure the account number was correct before sending the money? Usually they charge a {$1.00} to confirm if the transaction is ok. Why isn't anyone helping me with this issue? Due to these issues I am without any funds for last eight months and interest amount for trusting the process of Online Transfer. I have always used Paper check for disbursements before then. I would appreciate CFPB 's assistance with this issue. Please reach out to me. Thank you, have a good day.

We had no control over this matter and my account was marked as fraudulent ; moving forward no one from Bank of America reached out to me to solve this issue no we continue to have issues with BoA. They without notice closed my accounts ; due to this my other title transactions were not able to process through. I since then have been behind on my bills and expenses because of this. I do not appreciate how my business has been flagged as fraudulent if this is something we did not know about.

Consumer Complaint: A charge for items purchased from XXXX and delivered to a XXXX location not my address for {$2800.00} has been in dispute since the charge was shown on XX/XX/2022. I got a letter from Bank of America stating that all was good and that they gave me credit. Then months later they put the charge back on my account without explanation. I spoke to numerous people and even got them to send me documents that showed the top of a fake signature where only the very top of 2 letters were showing. The letter stated that the merchandise should be held at the XXXX location. It was also purchased through a gift card which was bought using my credit card. Please see if you can talk sense to the employees in the fraud department at Bank Of America!! Thanks.

Consumer Complaint: I deposited a {$9500.00} check on XX/XX/23 at XXXX : XXXX XXXX. No one at the branch informed me that the check would be placed on hold. Indeed the teller advised that the fund would be available by midnight. Then I got an email from the Bof A that they are placing the check on hold until XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted the bank, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX said that he saw the deposit was made at around XXXX XXXX, and that's why the system placed it on hold. I discussed the matter with supervisor XXXX ( XXXX ), who referred to an agreement. I was making large deposits previously from the same company and never had an issue like this one. I have bills to pay, and now I am stuck with no funds, and the bankers don't care besides saying sorry and advising me to use funds from my other bank accounts. This is unacceptable.

Consumer Complaint: Back on XXXX XXXX I filed 2 claims with Bank of America one claim for XXXX # XXXX. And another claim for XXXX claim # XXXX after being denied both claims on XXXX XXXX I called and talked to XXXX from Oklahoma she told me the reason for denial was because they did there investigation and they came to the conclusion that I gave someone permission to use my card So I refiled my claims and this time I had my documents to prove that I filed a police report I emailed the FBI I also filed a claim with the XXXX I also emailed my Attorney Generals office.I also asked for the documents Bank of America used in making this decision which I never recieved.Bank of America ended up approving the claim of XXXX XXXX XXXX but did not approve the second claim which was on the same account as claim one.The XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX was not approved. I NEVER RECIEVED THE DEBIT CARD BANK OF AMERICA HAS A XXXX LIABILITY JUST FOR THESE INSTANCES HOW CAN THEY APPROVE ONE CLAIM BUT NOT THE OTHER IT MAKES NO SENSE BOTH CLSIMS CAME FROM THE SAME ACCOUNT.AND AT NO TIME DID ANY OF THE REPRESENTATIVES TELL ME THAT I COULD FAX OVER MY DOCUMENTS I FOUND THIS INFO OUT ON MY OWN AND PROCEEDED TO FAX THE POLICE REPORTS THE REPORTS TO THE FBI AND TO THE XXXX JUST WANT THIS ISSUE RESOLVED ASAP.
