Consumer Complaint: I was issued the check XX/XX/2023 for the amount of XXXX from a XXXX XXXX bank which I deposited to my Bank of America account. There was a hold placed on the said check. For the following day, I deposited my paycheck from my regular work with the amount of XXXX XXXX with this being a regular check that I have been depositing for the past eight months a hold was placed again on this check now reading through that my federal banking rules {$200.00} of that XXXX should be available in my account within one business day or two business days I already reached out to Bank of America in one of local bank near me. And also called the XXXX number that they provided me with hopes to get a clear at least on my regular paycheck as bills are getting due. But the agent i spoke with only recommended that i activate the overdraft in my account so that my bills would go thru. I asked them specifically if they would waive the fee if overdraft or for late payment fee as this isnt even fair for them to do this. For a person living paycheck to paycheck. I can not afford to pay late fees. Im really disappointed how bank of america handled my situation.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is related to my other complaint. I applied for a Bank of America zero interest credit card on balance transfers in XXXX in preparation to my XXXX XXXX balance switching to high interest on XX/XX/XXXX. I was confirmed my card was accepted on XX/XX/28 and that XXXX would be transferred to pay down the account. I made a minimum payment to XXXX to cover any delay time. However, by XX/XX/XXXX the funds had not been transferred and I was charged XXXX. I called Bank of America and they told me a paper check would be sent to me first by snail mail and THEN I would need to mail it to XXXX by snail mail-a very long process. They said that because I applied online and filled in the XXXX Account transfer online, it made a difference in payment method. ( versus in person or by phone ) There are no BA in my rural area and since Ive done transfers electronically before for expedient payment I assume they would send electronically. They told me XXXX doesnt accept electronic transfers and to tear up the check WHEN it arrived and they would send another. This was now XX/XX/XXXX. I transferred XXXX from XXXX once again to cover increased interest. It was posted right away on XX/XX/XXXX. When second check arrived at XXXX it was returned as funds not available to which I got a delayed letter explaining. I called both BA and XXXX during this time. XXXX gave me yet another address to overnight yet a THIRD check and BA assured me it would be overnighted. But as of today XX/XX/XXXX no payments have posted anywhere and Im out additional XXXX in interest which defeats the entire purpose. WHO OWNS this problem? BA? XXXX? How could I have known or expected this convoluted process when I make electronic payments all the time through BA and to XXXX?

Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX filed for EDD/ Unemployment in the state of California XXXX XX/XX/2021. The money from EDD was put on a card through Bank of America. Bank of America refuses to send me the card or my EDD benefits money. BOA claims they have my old address ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and it needs to be updated through a email from EDD. I called EDD and they emailed BOA with my new address and BOA still refused to give me my money. I have all my paperwork from EDD showing my correct address. BOA is just playing games and is trying to keep my money. I have called EDD multiple times and they said they sent over my correct address, to call BOA again. If i remember correctly i am owed over XXXX XXXX BOA has kept all of my checks. I have not received one payment of EDD. I have been fighting with BOA since XXXX for my money. I will be uploading all my documents to prove my claims with my correct address from EDD. The same paperwork BOA has on file. I want all my money owed to me with inters and a XXXX $ fine. I want my money with in 10 business days and for every day i am not paid after that i want a full days wage like the labor board says I should get for not being paid per California Law. Consumer Complaint: We have a XXXX business account. In XX/XX/2022 I wrote XXXX checks to vendors which were stolen ; XXXX were forged and cashed at Bank of America. The third I was able to put a stop payment on before the thief cashed it. I filed XXXX claims with XXXX in XX/XX/2022. BOA still has not processed the claims nor responded to XXXX. Under UCC, I thought XXXX of the banks had to make good on checks within 5 days. It has been about 6 months and BOA refuses to respond. XXXX states BOA is responsible to refund us and won't even temporarily cover the amount while BOA is processing. Meanwhile, our small business is struggling financially since we had to pay our vendors.

Consumer Complaint: As per my previous complaint the account is still open and now has had XXXX has been transferred through the account after I told them that this account is fraudulent. I've tried to clear it up with the bank this is the second time that this has happened while being in the check systems and also have a freeze on all my credit reports but this account still has managed to be opened still is opened and they are refusing to close it when I last spoke with Bank of America they assured me that the account would have been closed which one I called in the account is still opened this account I never authorized to have opened told the bank this even told them before they started transferring the money and they still allow the suspicious activity to happen now I know I'm not no genius in the banking industry but I know that there is regulations that each Bank should be following and if these regulations are in place then how do people like me become victims from this bank that's been around for all these years if this is something that Bank of America has been doing which they have been accused of opening accounts fraudulent accounts to get the kick back perks I want this account closed immediately I'm in the process of talking to an attorney and I'm going to sue Bank of America for emotional distress this is annoying and it's a waste of time if the people from Bank of America are not going to follow through with their part in this mess I'm not filling out any kind of form or paper to be mailed back to Bank of America and the reason why is if they are this irresponsible with my information how do you think I'm going to feel if I put all of my information on a piece of paper and send it to them it's never going to happen I want the account closed now this is the last time that I will ask for this account to be closed and then I will take matters into my own hand and hire an attorney to have this account closed. I will also see for Bank of America to pay all my attorney 's fees as well. Close the account. I've also shared my story with local and international news stations so they are also aware of how Bank of America does business.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX 2023, my account statement on my Bank of America credit card was {$170.00}. I mistakenly paid off the amount of {$200.00} twice ( {$400.00} ). I claimed and they refund to me into my XXXX XXXX the amount of XXXX, leaving a credit of {$29.00}, this is ( {$200.00} minus XXXX ). Now, in the XXXX statement, I have a balance of {$140.00} which is good, but they added the same amount they refunded to me, arguing I owe them the amount of {$350.00}. Of course, this is ridiculous and I ask : does it make sense?
