Consumer Complaint: Hello, I had a Credit card with OLLO which merged with ALLY. I paid my bill the same as always and they lost my payment. Customer service told me it was my fault and I must not have made the payment on time. They charge me interest and a late fee, I speak with supervisor and told them the payment was made. They say nothing they can do. Then my payment ends up showing up so I call and ask what happened and they say the payment was made on time so they reverse the interest and late fees. At this point I tell the supervisor on a 3rd time having to call and sit on hold that I want to close my account. They lost my payment blamed it on me and then charged me a late fee. There never was an apology or anyone admitting they screwed up so I was fed up and closed the account. I still had {$210.00} in my rewards. I spoke with customer service in early XXXX and let them know i would pay the balance except for {$210.00} that the rewards I earned would cover. The person I spoke to said it would be applied to the balance on the next billing cycle ( XX/XX/XXXX ) that came and they never applied my rewards so I called again end of XXXX and spoke with supervisor XXXX who said she would open a ticket and they would call me and the rewards would be applied by XXXX. That date came and the rewards still were not applied so I called again yesterday and spoke with supervisor XXXX ( XXXX ) who told me the same thing and that she does not have the authority to apply my rewards to my balance. I asked for a manager and was told none were available. I'm filing this complaint because ALLY CC does not want to give me the rewards I have earned and now they are telling me the balance is due XX/XX/XXXX but I have that balance in my account in rewards which they are refusing to apply to my account because I closed it. All I want is the rewards I earned applied to my balance or a check for the rewards mailed to me, can you please help me with this matter because ALLY CC is refusing to connect me with anyone that has any authority or knowledge to get me my rewards. Consumer Complaint: I had a CD with Ally bank since 2020, closed the CD out for over 2 weeks now. The first message was that Ill get my check in the mail between 7-10 business days. 10 business days passed I didnt receive the check. I called them and was told the check got returned because of my address. Verified my home address with them on the phone that it was correct with what they have in the system. I was told that day that they have expedited the process for me to receive the check between 2-3 business days. 3 business days passed and I still havent gotten the check. I called back again, and was told the check hasnt been mailed. That it will be mailed out soon but they can not even give me any tracking number or courier that theyre using. Its my hard earned money Im trying to get back from them and theyre giving me a run around of my money. Im not even going to talk about the hours I have spent on the phone with them or them hanging up the call on me. To receive a check within the states should be maximum 5 business days. I told them today that Ill be filling a complaint with CFPB. Thanks.

Under the laws of Illinois UCC-9.506 and state RISA and MVISA statutes a deficiency can not be claimed unless all of the required notices were properly and timely given, and all of the allowable redemption and core time limits were adhered to.

Consumer Complaint: I had a lease with Ally Financial. No payment of mine was ever late. I purchased a new vehicle in XXXX XXXX XXXX and the car dealership sent the payoff to Ally. There was a termination fee that I owed which I chose to pay in an extended payment plan that was offered to me by Ally since I didn't have all of that money up front. I made all XXXX agreed upon payments. The account was reported to XXXX and XXXX as " paid in full/as agreed, closed '' but was reported to XXXX as XXXX paid in settlement ''. I have opened disputes with Ally and XXXX after more than XXXX phone calls between both companies. Both disputes were closed but no changes were made despite documentation and proof given. Ally provided a paid in full letter that I gave to XXXX but they didn't update the account to " paid in full '' as requested. They left it as " paid in settlement '' and closed the dispute. My score has dropped XXXX points from this mess.

Then I received a text message from Ally Bank, informing me that they will deposit this {$870.00} to my Ally checking account. Since then I have called Ally Bank customer service multiple times and spoke with both representatives and supervisors regarding this XXXX transfer. Every time, they told me that the settlement date of this XXXX transfer is XX/XX/XXXX today. However, it is end of the day XX/XX/XXXX now, but this {$870.00} XXXX transfer still has NOT been posted to my Ally checking account yet. I request Ally Bank to post this {$870.00} XXXX transfer to my Ally checking account immediately without any further delay. It is illegal for Ally Bank to hold my {$870.00} money without posting to my account.

Consumer Complaint: I paid my car finance off with Ally Financial for the amount of XXXX on XXXX XXXX. Ally Financial sent me an official release of lein letter on XXXX XXXX which I can provide. On my credit report with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX its reporting that I still owe Ally financial an amount of XXXX. Ive contacted Ally Financial they told me they will fix but they never did. I disputed this with the credit bureaus but nothing has changed. This is affecting my credit history stopping me from purchasing a home to build a foundation with my family. I also have my car title with no lein hold on it. I would like this account to be removed from my credit report with all three credit bureaus. Can youll please take care before I take legal actions. Fast forward to earlier this year ( XXXX ) I was made aware that there was a balance on the account that I was not unaware of. I decided to do a payment plan for the balance, upon completing the payment plan on XXXX XXXX, they reported my account as late, delinquent and settled, which dropped my credit score more than 100 points. I feel like this was unethical and I was not made aware that this was being report to the credit bureaus, and figured this was just a in house matter. I have had my credit history for then 15 years and I have never in life had a late or Miss payment, this 100+ point deduction on my credit report has been detrimental to me and my future
