Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Problem accessing account
Consumer Complaint: I have been with Ally bank since they were known as GMAC bank. Ally allows up to 20 external linked accounts to other financial institutions. For whatever the reason someone at Ally has decided to limit my ability to link to external accounts. I currently have XXXX linked external accounts and have been unable to add any more up to the 20 limit. When I complained to Ally I was told that since I have been a client with them that I have linked to over 70 external accounts during that time frame. There is no reason for Ally to limit my ability to link to external accounts as long as I stay within the 20 external account limit. I'm a savvy consumer who seeks out great rates, CD offers, and bonuses offered at other financial institutions. Ally 's actions are severely limiting my ability to link to other accounts that I have at other financial institutions, limiting my ability to transfer funds between those accounts, and limiting my ability to take advantage of great rates, CD, and bonus offers at other financial institutions.

Consumer Complaint: Pursuant to 15 usc 1602i I as the consumer am the original creditor. In accordance to 15 USC 1692 Ally Financial is criminally liable. I also was never given paperwork in regards to my loan information or car purchase. Furthermore, Ally is also civilly liable for double the amount of my finance charge in accordance to 15 USC 1640, and they are liable for each FDCPA Violation pursuant to 15 USC 1692K. I am demanding that they zero out the balance of this alleged debt and update my consumer reports, as well as remit payments to me for violations.

Consumer Complaint: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XX/XX/XXXX Re : Ally Auto Finance I need your help. Ally Auto Finance has hidden charges in the XXXX XXXX Contracts. Permit me to explain. On XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX I entered into an Auto Finance Contract with Ally Auto Finance via XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX for the purchase of a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The interest was supposed to be 7.09 %. However, Ally Auto Finance has instituted some creative Finance Charges in addition to the Interest Charges. This is totally Ludicrous and highly Unethical. I am not paying 7.09 %, I am paying 7.09 % + a fabricated Finance Charge. The Finance Charges nor Interest Charges are disclosed in the monthly statements. Instead when you receive youre your Monthly Statement there is an area marked Last Paid which contains a column named Finance Charge. There is NO disclosure showing the Interest Paid just the Finance Charge Paid and there is NO calculation showing how that number was derived. Such as Number of Days in the Billing Cycle. ( See attached titled : Ally Interest Statement XXXX highlighted in yellow ). I have put together a Summary Sheet ( see the attached titled : Ally Calculated Interest XXXX ) which shows the amount charged by Ally under the column titled Ally Interest ( highlighted in yellow ). I have also included a column titled Calculated Int. ( Interest ) which represents the Interest that should have been paid based on 7.09 % APR. Please help me to extinguish this Unethical Business Practice and please keep me informed as to your progress. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Ally relies on a network of dealerships that serves as intermediars who originate financing deals with customer. However, Ally Finanical controls all aspect of the loan process. The dealer has no role in approving, making docmenting, funding, holding, servicing, or collecting the loan. Auto lenders are required to follow standards that ensure borrowers can repay their loans. No paystub, employment, and etc was required to open this loan because if due diligence was done Ally wouldve known that I never had a job in my life. How can a loan application get approved if the customer has no way to repay the loan. Ally has predatory lending and deceptive debt collection practices. XXXX XXXX XXXX was sued for the excat same predatory lending and deceptive debt collection practices. The AG of PA should follow. Delete this account from All XXXX ASAP! This is Sub Prime lending at its best!
