Consumer Complaint: I made a deposit of XXXX dollars into my Ally bank account on XX/XX/2022 and the funds were made available XX/XX/2022. Once the money was in my account I transfered the money to my property manager on XX/XX/2022 for past due rent. For some reason that action caused them to freeze my account. I have been calling daily and getting no answers. When it first happened I spoke to someone in early XXXX that claimed they just needed to verify my check and then my account would be unlocked in 5-10 business days. Its been over 2 weeks now and I still have no answers. Its the only bank account I have and with no access to my money Im worried that my power & phone will be shut off soon. Im not sure why I am being treated like a criminal, the check was from the state of california so I dont understand why my account was frozen over it.

Consumer Complaint: I make my monthly payments of {$180.00} in advance of the due date starting on XX/XX/XXXX. I have sent them 7 payments. I received an email stating my XX/XX/XXXX was late. I confirmed they have received 7monthly payments, but 2 payments were applied in XX/XX/XXXX. Ally Financial states they can not adjust the prepaid payment to credit XX/XX/XXXX. I have to send another payment. This is the most absurd policy I have heard. Penalize someone for paying in advance?

Consumer Complaint: I've been paying {$340.00} a month for XXXX to Ally Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX Never have missed a payment till covid happened I've taken a huge financial hardship and burden the last 2 years especially with the economy the way it is. I have XXXX kids work full time and own my house. I've consistently called emailed and chatted online with countless people at Ally Bank. Nobody will offer any help they have me upside down in the loan. I've barely paid anything off and I've paid thousands and thousands of dollars. They refuse to do a payment modification for financial hardship. They offer absolutely zero compassion or any options. This is absolutely unacceptable and just wrong.

Consumer Complaint: I was offered {$150.00} bonus money by Ally XXXX on the condition that I opened an investment account with them by XXXX/XXXX/22 and deposit {$500.00} by XXXX/XXXX/22. The bonus money was supposed to be deposited to the new account by XX/XX//22. I followed their instruc t ions but they did not send the bonus money of {$150.00}. I called them on XX/XX/22 to inquire, the representative told me that I was entitled to the money bonus, but not sure why I hadn't received it. He gave me a case number. I've attached three emails from Ally XXXX. One email shows the original offer they gave me, another email shows that I had opened my account. Another email shows a case number with them regarding my complaint.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint relates to Complaint ID XXXX Ally Financial Inc. filed a false Federal Form 1099C in violation of Treas. Reg. 1.6050P-1 and N.Y. Personal Property Law 343 ( 2 ). Ally abandoned any right to collection several years ago because it lacked any basis in law, or fact, to prosecute any claim for collection given its failure to serve the proper notices as required by the state statute and given the lack of merit to any claim of damages to the vehicle. The fact that no receivable could have possibly existed as a matter of state law, would preclude Ally from waiving or forgiving any monetary amount. You can't cancel or forgive a debt that never existed. I am respectfully enclosing copies of my most recent letter to Ally dated XX/XX/2022 together with XXXX exhibits to substantiate my complaint.

XXXX XXXX 2021- XXXX XXXX 2021. I submitted over five payments and they were all sent back from the bank. amount {$510.00} was reported late when it wasn't by XXXX XXXX bank XXXX. I made multiple payments. I called daily I have claim numbers as well when I called .XXXX my late fee 's were deleted because the payments were made on time.
