Consumer Complaint: I have previously filed several complaints about ALLY FINANCIAL. ALLY Financial complaint # XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. ALL OF MY COMPLAINTS have been CLOSED and nothing has been resolved! I never made any late payments, ALLY FINANCIAL has not provided me proof that the payments they show as late ever happened, and yet continues reporting a late payment history on my account. I need your assistance correcting this error. NO LATE PAYMENTS WERE MADE! ALLY MUST fix this error immediately as they are causing my score to be low and my extensions of credits are being offered at high rates.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2019 XXXX. iI have repeatedly tried to resolve this with letters and phone calls. First to Ally finanancial then to XXXX XXXX. They send me a letter that states all obligations have been satisfied but then say i owe XXXX. When I call and tell them to look at the statement they agree I paid then send me a collection letter the next month. This has been going on for 3 years. IT is stressful having to deal with this> These companies are so big that nobody knows whats going on. When i would call Ally financial and ask how i could owe this money there response would always be> we do not know our system does not show that. Well how could they send me a bill then. Especially when i have a letter from them saying my obligations have been satisfied.

Consumer Complaint: I own an ally bank savings account and was trying to transfer my funds out of the account. They put a fraud alert on my account, disabled online access and asked me to submit proof of ownership including copy of my SSN to restore access. I was able to talk to a fraud supervisor to remove the account freeze. However, after 2 weeks of the intended transfer, my funds ( XXXX ) are still on hold and not available to me. Their fraud department is painful and arrogant to deal with and have made it hard to access my own money even after the fraud concerns are removed. I have tried to contact them through secure messages, phone calls and disputing the transactions but no response from them. This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a bank and would advice other folks to stay clear.

Her deductible is only suppose to be {$100.00} for covered work. Ally Financial is constantly balking at the deductible and wants my wife to pay more out of pocket for covered work. Ally Financial has tried to changes the terms of the agreement on several occasions. It seems more like a bait and switch tactic than an actual warranty.

The insurance proceeds paid off the full balance of the lease and their excess funds in excess of {$20000.00}. These excess funds were generated by our trade on the vehicle and our down payment. Despite numerous requests Ally refuses to return them claiming they are entitled to keep our down payment and trade value. Ally has unjustly enriched itself.

Consumer Complaint: I was selling a antique stove for {$8000.00} on XXXX XXXX for my mom who is XXXX XXXX XXXX and a person named XXXX XXXX contacted me to purchase. He sent me a check for {$11000.00} which {$3000.00} was to be sent to movers on XX/XX/XXXX thru my XXXX account, the person receiving the money was named XXXX XXXX and her email address was XXXX later in the evening I received a message from XXXX XXXX letting me know that he wanted to cancel the transaction because his only sister who he was buying the stove for got into a serious car accident and was in the XXXX Ohio emergency room, he gave me the phone number of the hospital which was XXXX and when I called a person answered phone XXXX Ohio emergency room, we gave him the information and he continued to give us Information that if this was a true hospital it wouldnt have been given because of HIPPA.He wanted me to send all the money to pay for a operation that she needed right away. I didnt respond then he sent a picture of a woman lying in a hospital bed so I showed my daughter XXXX who did a reverse picture lookup and the picture was from 3 years ago of a softball coach who was in a car accident. I knew then I was scammed so I called Ally bank fraud department right away to let them know about the check, the person I spoke to said he believes it is money laundering. I called again on Thursday to get more information and I was told that my account will be locked I will not be able to take money out and all the money needs to be paid back to bank and this will be reported to credit bureau. I was very upset about the whole situation so I had given permission a number of times for my daughter XXXX to speak with customer service at one point a person named XXXX accused my daughter of impersonating me she also spoke to another person XXXX who was extremely rude as was XXXX. I have spoken to a number of people from Ally bank who were either nice to me or rude. This whole situation is a nightmare, I am being treated by Ally bank as a thief because of the fraudulent check that I didnt know was fraudulent. I have been with Ally bank for a long time my record is clean I have worked hard all my life and this is how I am treated by Ally. My accounts have been locked I dont have access to any money and I have bills to pay. At one point I called to find out my balance and I was told to stop calling. I filed a police report with the city of XXXX on XX/XX/2022 the incident number is XXXX. Ally bank should back up their customers not treat them like thieves. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office, FBI and XXXX XXXX XXXX
