Issue: Getting a loan or lease
Subissue: Fraudulent loan
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I purchased a vehicle from XXXX in XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX. After doing my own research and checking the vehicles XXXX I found out the vehicle had a lemon buyback title. This was never disclosed to me after going back up to the dealership and having several conversations with them. They informed me that I signed a XXXX History report stating it was a lemon. I explained to them I never did and they printed the document out, after seeing the paper I instantly realized the signature was not mine and I never seen the document. They Forged my signature and never informed me of the vehicle being a lemon. I would of never signed loan documents if they would of disclosed this was a lemon ... This whole loan is fraudulent! Look at the signatures on both of my documents then compare it to the forged lemon XXXX vehicle report. This loan was not made with truth and credibility.

Consumer Complaint: This is a resubmission of a previous complain that WAS NOT RESOLVED. The previous complaint was erroneously marked as a duplicate. I had a past due balance with Ally Bank that is on my XXXX report. The account has been paid off. I mailed in money orders totalling {$1900.00} on XX/XX/22 and they were deposited by Ally Bank on XX/XX/22. I checked my XXXX report on XXXX and it is still showing that I owe {$1900.00}. Please see the attached file showing proof of payment and negotiation by Ally Bank. I checked my XXXX report again on XX/XX/22 and the incorrect information is still there.

Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Funds not handled or disbursed as instructed
Consumer Complaint: I initiated an ACH Transfer for {$55000.00} on XX/XX/2022 to transfer funds from my XXXX checking account to Ally Bank savings account. These funds were successfully debited from my XXXX checking account on XX/XX/2022. Ally Bank then blocked the transfer, because I am told they could not verify the external account belonged to me, and the transfer failed and was never credited to my Ally account. Per calls with Ally Bank, there was an attempt to reverse the funds back to the external account on XX/XX/2022, but the reversal failed. It took hours on the phone over multiple days with Ally Bank representatives saying it was an issue with my external bank before one of the representatives finally understood the issue and opened a Case on XX/XX/XXXX ( Case ID : XXXX ). I was told I would receive resolution within 1 to 2 business days. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have not heard back. I already filed a CFPB complaint with the external bank ( XXXX ) and received a response back from them that there is nothing for them to do, as it is Ally 's responsibility to send the funds back to my external bank. Their complaint response is attached. It has now been close to 1 month since Ally rejected the funds, and no further action has been taken by the bank to resolve this matter. It is unacceptable to hold an account holder 's funds in limbo like this for this period of time. I have spent a combined XXXX XXXX of my time on the phone with Ally Bank over the course of multiple days in the last month trying to explain my issue to Ally customer service representatives without resolution.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a transfer of $ XXXX from Ally saving account on XX/XX/2022 to my external account ( XXXX, ending in XXXX ). The transaction ref # is XXXX. Somehow the transfer was not successful ( it is shown as Skipped ) and my XXXX account is shown as suspended in Allys website. I contacted Ally and was told the reverse was initiated on XX/XX/XXXX. I didnt see the money back to my account on XX/XX/XXXX and contacted Ally again on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told the money should appear in my account on XX/XX/XXXX. But there is no trace of refund at all. I called numerous times and was just given a reference number of case being investigated. My complaint points are XXXX ) Why would Ally even start the transfer if they thought my XXXX account suspicious and suspend it? XXXX ) Why no notice at all, no phone call, no message, saying they cancelled the transfer and any reason for that? XXXX ) Why was the refund/reverse taking so long? It is my money. I am suffering from the insecure feeling of losing the money ( and interest ). And I might need it in a couple of weeks.

Consumer Complaint: I paid off my lease with Ally, and the mileage fees on time. I made my last payment on XX/XX/XXXX. However I was reported late for XXXX erroneously on XXXX only. XXXX and XXXX were reported properly. I have contacted Ally since XX/XX/XXXX over a dozen times concerning correcting their error. I have disputed the error with XXXX, and have asked Ally for my payment history and for account statements proving I was never late, but they refuse to cooperate. They are a corrupt financial organization. They sent me a document dated XX/XX/XXXX that the account was paid in full. This is proof that XXXX wasn't late. I have been denied credit as I sought a place for myself and my XXXX year old to live, and my fico score dropped 60-80 points. I can't get a mortgage as I was verbally denied after my credit was examined. My online portal which allows consumers to obtain their loan documents is blocked because I mentioned an Attorney. There have been many complaints against Ally which was verified by a law firm in XXXX where Ally operates from/

Consumer Complaint: I was attempting to sell a couch online and was scammed. The " Buyer '' sent me a fraudulent check. On XX/XX/XXXX ; I called the Bank the check was from ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ) to ask if it was safe to deposit it, They told me ; because it was a company check : it was safe. A few days later, I called Ally Bank and asked if it was safe to remove funds from the account once the check had cleared ; they said yes. When the check cleared ; I called Ally Bank again just to make absolutely sure it was alright to remove money from the account, and again they said it was safe, so I did. The Scammer had me make two separate XXXX payments of XXXX XXXX dollars for " Movers ''. This did make me skeptical of the buyer, but the bank told me it was safe, so I went along with it. On XX/XX/XXXX, the check bounced. When I found out ; I managed to cancel one of the XXXX payment, but not the other. Ally bank preceded to act in a very hostile way with the next two calls I placed. There was very little transparency and I was getting contradictory information through emails. They closed my account despite the fact I made sure to ask them every step of the way to make sure I had been doing everything right.

Consumer Complaint: According to 15 U.S. Code 1601 ( a ) Informed use of credit The Congress finds that economic stabilization would be enhanced and the competition among the various financial institutions and other firms engaged in the extension of consumer credit would be strengthened by the informed use of credit. The informed use of credit results from an awareness of the cost thereof by consumers. It is the purpose of this subchapter to assure a meaningful disclosure of credit terms so that the consumer will be able to compare more readily the various credit terms available to him and avoid the uninformed use of credit, and to protect the consumer against inaccurate and unfair credit billing and credit card practices. This wrongful sale tax was converted over into the amount financed within the truth in lending disclosure. The total amount for the amount financed within the truth in lending disclosure was {$19000.00} this amount however can not be accurate as mandated by the TILA ACT because the wrongful tax sale charge is included which violates the TILA ACT because it protects me from inaccurate and unfair practices.
