Consumer Complaint: I was behind XXXX payments on my car because of personal issues. I travelled overseas to take care of my mother who was on her final days. While I was there, I tried to make a payment online and I was not able to. I called Ally financial and sent them so many emails which I will attach. I called the company so many times and the phone was hanged up. I came back XXXX days ago and my account was charged off like XXXX days before I arrived. When I contacted Ally, I was told by customer service that I was irresponsible and nothing can be done. They were so mean.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I received a email from Ally Bank ( see attached photo copy ) indicating that a Ally Interest Checking Account ( # XXXX ) had been created using my name and email address as the authorized user. However, I never communicated with nor authorized Ally Bank to open any financial instruments in my name. On XX/XX/2022, I received an additional email from Ally Bank indicating that they were notifying me that I should create a Login ; Password ; and a customer profile for this account. I did not comply with any of these instructing believing that this may be fake. When I called to validate this, the initial answering question as if I was calling to report an unauthorized creation of an account, the phone when dead.

Consumer Complaint: i am sending you a copy of my payoff loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX. the payoff check was cashed by Ally Bank on XXXX. Ally Bank only applied XXXX to my account instead of the full amount of the check {$18000.00}. please correct this error by Ally Bank and close my account. ally Bank has already affected my credit worthiness as i have dropped XXXX points on my credit score which they also need to correct by sending credit bureau that this account is closed and paid in full. i was told Ally Bank that this would be cleared in 10 days on XX/XX/2022. well its been 10 days. i am willing to report this matter as a fraudulent act by Ally Bank as they still have not credited my payoff amount to my account and closed this account. also since they have not sent paper work to California XXXX. showing the new lien owners as XXXX XXXX XXXX they are in violation of that procedure by the California XXXX They need to correct their accounting error and apply the full amount and close my account. they need to contact the credit bureau and clear my credit report to show i am in good standing with my creditors. send the proper paper work to California XXXX to transfer lien title to XXXX XXXX XXXX, I have been dealing with this since XX/XX/2022 i have sent them proof of the the payoff check many times and have chatted with someone on their web site many times i have called and repeated their error to someone many times No results as of XX/XX/2022

Consumer Complaint: When i accessed my credit report today, i found 11 inquiries. Two of this inquiries, which I know nothing about, made by Ally financial! One on XX/XX/2022 and the other on XX/XX/2022. Even if i really did apply for any loans with this company-which i something i do not remember- I would never do it again after 5 days of getting refused! Who would apply for the same company who got refused by after 5 days!???? The second thing is that it is known that if you apply for more than one loan that serves the same purpose, a car loan for instance, in a 14-days period, the credit bureaus considers all credit inquiries one inquiry! So why there is 8 inquiries on my report! Moreover, one of these 8inquiries, which was made by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX i know nothing about.

Consumer Complaint: My truck was repossessed today, less than an hour ago. It creates a hardship if I can not get that vehicle back asap, I can not go to work. There was no warning, the tow truck came and took the vehicle. Ally can not provide proof of validation of the loan, nor will they accept other forms of payment which have been sent. They are very aggressive and I am now under duress. I sent a letter a few months ago disputing the account, called them out on fraud, they immediately closed the account and refused to accept any more payments in fiat currency and is demanding certified payments. Again, this account is in dispute so the vehicle should not have been repossessed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter indicating a charge off with no repossession in the communication. This is illegal.

Consumer Complaint: After a nightmare dealing with this bank from the very first month, I paid off my loan 16 months early Ally Bank received the final payment on XX/XX/2022 by Priority Mail Receipt. On XX/XX/2022 they sent me 'Congratulations ' on paying off the loan and the confirmation of Lien Release . I hadn't received the Title of the auto as yet, so wrote them a letter making the request on XX/XX/1022 ... .this was after requests on Social Media , without response. It is now SEVEN MONTHS after satisfying my loan early ... .AND STILL NO TITLE or response to my letter. This appears to be common practice with this company, as I have seen many similar problems both on XXXX and Social Media sites.

Consumer Complaint: I was late with my payments and tried to talk to the representative with Ally Financial bank to see what I could do. They never got back to me, one day my car was just gone and when I tried to ask them if they repossessed it they wouldnt tell me until that following week on Thursday ( my car was gone on a Friday ) they then proceeded to tell me I had until that Tuesday to come grab my belongings out of the vehicle but wouldnt give me and address to come grab nor did they follow the law of giving me seven to ten business days to collect my belongings. I had no court order issued for them to come take my car. I am in the military so they have to follow the SCRA which they did not.

Consumer Complaint: There have been discrepancies regarding the XXXX XXXX Claim. I have provided a letter from the attorney representing XXXX XXXX XXXX. The letter provided details of the payment extension discrepancy. XXXX and XXXX do not have a copy of the GAP insurance policy and are unaware that Ally Financial is still responsible for the remaining balance on the vehicle. I am in receipt of a letter stating that 72 months was and remains the installment loan. There were no loan modifications made. I requested 2 payment extensions and I only received 1 temporary payment extension and a loan modification was not provided. The billing was caught up and the XX/XX/XXXX payment was rendered on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX payment due was still within grace period when the date of loss occurred on XX/XX/2020, however XXXX payment was not paid. Ally Financial is responsible for the remaining balance. The remaining balance needs to be paid off to XXXX and XXXX who represent XXXX XXXX XXXX.
