I filed XXXX XXXX bankruptcy which was discharged XXXX XXXX Since the discharge date XXXX of the creditors, Ally Financial, has posted a negative payment on XXXX XXXX I spent hours on the phone trying to get it resolved and removed only for them to tell me they can continue reporting as long as the account is owed. This debt was filed on the bankruptcy and the account shows closed so they should no longer be reporting negative payments but refuse to remove the negative payment.

Consumer Complaint: The vehicle is inoperable due to extensive electrical/ electronic issues. Ive taken the vehicle to XXXX separate dealerships, and neither can repair. The last dealership did say they may be able to fix it, but its too expensive for me. Ive contacted Ally financial and they said previously I am not qualified for an extension or any payment assistance. I have decided to surrender the vehicle. Since XXXX, have called to set up the process and each time I speak to someone its like I didnt call the day before. Today, XXXX, I was hung up on. The amount of money Im paying for this vehicle I can not use, and the amount Ive spent for diagnostic has caused me to default on other responsibilities. I just want this car removed so I can rebuild. I believe the dealer, XXXX XXXX XXXX, knew of the issues, but sold this anyway. That will be with another complaint.

Consumer Complaint: I had a loan with Ally Financial which was in a late payment. I entered a catch up agreement on XX/XX/XXXX with a payment of {$780.00} which is more than the usual XXXX XXXX monthly payment due on the XXXX. After the agreement, my bank account changed so I canceled the transactions and made a new post payments on my account for the charges cancelled. I made the first payment on XX/XX/XXXX. After making the payments for 4 months, they suddenly said I was late and was 30 days past due. After talking to customer service, they told me since I made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX instead of the XXXX, it voided the catch up contract which is strange because they were reporting fully paid in the middle of the contract. I also made {$800.00} payments which was more than due and she also said that doing that voided the contract because it has to be the same amounts and dates as the contract. So now they say that I'm one payment late, dinged my credit, and wanted an additional payment on the end of the contract on XX/XX/XXXX. They also charged me late payments and penalties. Consumer Complaint: I had an account with Ally Bank. In XX/XX/2022, my account with Ally Bank was restricted. I called to get details of why my account was being restricted and was told a depositor had recalled their deposit and that my account would be investigated. I called multiple times and each time I was told that the investigation was ongoing and could take up to 30 days and that most likely my account would be closed. I asked for more information, but could not get any more information. I asked to speak to the investigator, but could not. I asked for a call back and was told they would try to get him to call me. I did not get a call back. I called I called again and was told that my account had been closed that day. I asked for details and was told that I would receive a letter, but did not. I have tried several times to have the balance of the account returned to me with no success. I was told today that any money in the account would been returned to me and the person I was speaking to hung up on me. There was in excess of {$20000.00} in the account after the money was returned to the depositor who recalled the deposit.
