Consumer Complaint: I had an auto loan through Ally. The car was totaled and I was told the gap insurance did not cover it. The account was sent to collection ( XXXX XXXX ). I called into XXXX and agreed to a settlement amount of {$330.00}, of which I would make a monthly payment of $ XXXX month starting XX/XX/XXXX. I set up automatic payments. The last payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX never sent me any confirmation, nor did they send Ally confirmation and they are stating I still owe the entire balance. Please help!!! I have attached my bank account statement showing where I made all 10 payments.

Consumer Complaint: Tuesday XX/XX/2023 I attempted to access my bank account at Ally Bank. I visited ally.com and input my login information. The website redirected me to this URL : https : //secure.ally.com/temp-unavailable The URL displays this text : " Request can not be processed We're unable to process your request at this time. Please us 24/7 for help. '' I called the help number at XXXX and reached a representative. The representative said : " we are experiencing a system-wide outage at this time our tech team is actively working on getting that resolved call back in 2-3 hours when we are expecting updates to be completed '' I waited a few minutes and tried again, but I get the same error message. There is no other option for me to access my bank account.

Consumer Complaint: Re : Ally Auto Account Number ending in XXXX CFPB Number : XXXX See attachment with text message from XXXX, ensuring that contract will be updated. XXXX, Executive Customer Relations at Ally Bank is reporting that XXXX has reached out to me and that they have not heard back, I have text messages as proof that XXXX was sending me a new contract via overnight XXXX which they never did because the " manager is on vacation. '' It is factually incorrect that XXXX has not heard from me. Please resolve issue I have reached out to Ally today XX/XX/2023. I am writing to dispute the fact that Ally Financial is reporting my business vehicle loan to my personal credit. I was informed by the dealer that this was a commercial loan and that it would not be reflected on my personal credit. This deceitful act is in clear violation of credit reporting laws. This is in clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). The FCRA is a federal law that protects consumers ' rights to fair and accurate credit reporting. The FCRA prohibits creditors from reporting information to credit reporting agencies that is not accurate, timely, or complete. The FCRA also prohibits creditors from reporting information to credit reporting agencies that is not authorized by the consumer. In this case, Ally Financial is reporting information to a credit reporting agency that is not accurate, timely, or complete. Ally Financial is reporting a business loan to a personal credit report, even though the consumer was informed by the dealer that this was a commercial loan and that it would not be reflected on their personal credit. This is a clear violation of the FCRA.

It is Illegal to sell a debt after it was charged off by the original Creditor. Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023 I emailed Ally Bank, regarding my auto loan, asking for my payoff amount on my auto loan. Their customer service agents are bullies on the phone and not to be trusted. I received a letter, in the mail, from Ally dated XXXX XXXX, 2023. It gave me a payoff amount and further stated that it should be paid on or before XXXX XXXX, 2023. I paid this amount, in full, as instructed on XX/XX/2023. So I receive another letter from Ally dated XXXX XXXX, 2023. It states that I still owe on this loan account. Isn't the amount given in the first letter binding? Please see attachments below.

Consumer Complaint: There is a difference between the amount that I got in the new loan and what was paid in the second company. I had a balance of {$22.00} XXXX with Ally my first lender. My second lander XXXX paid to Ally on the XX/XX/24 the total of {$22.00} XXXX Difference = {$590.00} There is a balance there that it counts on my second lender, but it was not owed on Ally. It was clear, and I was not informed how the difference occur and how it will be paid back to me or deducted from my second loan.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX I deposited a check for {$15000.00} into a new account at Ally bank. Within a couple days, my account was inexplicably put on some sort of suspension. I was contacted by both email and phone to resolve the issue. I called in multiple times and spoke to INCREDIBLY RUDE people in the " loss prevention '' office. I told them multiple times two things : 1 ) my husband has to assist me with finances and he had to be on the call and 2 ) I am on the XXXX XXXX. Instead of offering any semblance of understanding and compassion, this instead seemed to irritate them further. To date, and despite the fact that I called in and answered their absurdly probing questions about the source of the money ( XXXX XXXX via my husband 's company for which I performed work and was being paid ), they continue to not convey access to my money. If this hold continues, I'm contacting legal counsel and pursuing action under any statute we can find, including americans with disability act.

Consumer Complaint: I arrived at XXXX XXXX in XXXX on XX/XX/2023 with a full approval from XXXX XXXX to purchase a vehicle. I specifically told the salesman I did not consent to a hard inquiry to my credit nor did I want to discuss any other financing options besides what I was already approved for with XXXX. The salesman asked me to confirm my information with a signature to just verify the XXXX deal within their portal. I once again stated I did not consent to any hard inquiry of my credit. Despite this, the dealership processed a hard credit pull and sent to Ally Bank who also processed a hard inquiry on that same day. When meeting with finance I repeated I was not interested in any deal other than XXXX and the deal was finalized with my approved chase offer already in place. The next week while reviewing my credit I saw the XXXX XXXX and Ally hard inquires to all XXXX CBRs. When I contacted the dealership I was told well that salesman is new and there is nothing we can do about it now. I believe this to be a UDAAP violation for deceptive practices and would like the hard inquiries I did NOT consent to removed from my credit reporting.
