Consumer Complaint: Sent a letter correspondence to FedLoan and the US Department of Education regarding reimbursement for payments I made AFTER my effective date of my VA 100 % Total and Permanent XXXX. There were XXXX letters sent on : XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX regarding this matter, as I received NO response from FedLoan or the US Dept of Ed. regarding my reimbursement and was advised that I have to contact FedLoan directly. I then called Fedloan on XX/XX/XXXX who advised that I have to call the Department of Education regarding my reimbursement. I called the US Dept of Ed, who advised that the reimbursement must come from my borrower- FedLoan. I called them back and they were not helpful. I then sent a letter correspondence to FedLoan ( again for the XXXX time ) as well as to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) regarding this matter on XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX. I have NOT received a response from anyone. My effective VA 100 % Total and Permanent XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX. I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX for {$100.00} ; on XX/XX/XXXX for {$1000.00} ; and on XX/XX/XXXX for {$910.00}. The full amount to be reimbursed is {$2000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I was notified by FedLoan Servicing that my loans were being transferred to XXXX. Now my loans are duplicated on my XXXX report. I have attempted to get them to remove the duplication multiple times since XX/XX/2022, but they deny the dispute every time, despite evidence from both My XXXX and XXXX. This doubling of my loan has resulted in higher interest rates for auto loans and has been extremely frustrating. I am attaching the notice from FedLoan Servicing that states my loan will be transferred and the " Welcome Letter '' from XXXX.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I have disputed the Fed Loan accounts multiple times on my credit reports. They keep coming back as verified but they are still reporting inaccurate information. The most noticeable error being that it goes from current to 90 days past due from one month to the following month. It's impossible to be current one month but then 90 days past due the following month. In addition to that, these accounts first went past due prior to XXXX of 2016 so no longer should be reporting on my credit report anyway. The information reported to each bureau is also different. How can the information be different, but still accurate?

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I received 8 credit alerts on my XXXX credit card account. My XXXX XXXX had dropped 70 + points!!! Puzzled I checked in and my student loan company, American Education Services, had put 8 alerts saying that they were unable to reach me. I was puzzled because Id just gotten a notice saying they had changed my guarantor a few weeks before and they said they didnt need me to do anything. I called and they said the knew the issue was widespread among people who had their guarantor changed but they didnt know why and since they only do credit reporting at the end of the month they couldnt fix it. I think thats asinine- I didnt do anything wrong and my credit is tanked. Its after the end of the month and they still havent taken them off- can they be made to fix it? I am trying to pay off debt to raise my rating but this is unbearable.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: For almost ten years, I made payments to XXXX on my student loans for my XXXX degree. My loans were in forbearance while I finished my XXXX XXXX, which I paid for out of pocket as I went. XXXX sold my loan to XXXX. I have served the country ( XXXX XXXX ) and government ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) for over 30 years and should qualify for service forgiveness, but my loan was sold, an act that was out of my control. When I called the lenders, they told me I'd need to refinance my loan and start over with the ten years of payments. That is unfair, and how do I know that my loans won't be sold again before I pay for ten years. Thanks for your help!!
