Consumer Complaint: I am stressed and displeased that I see so many fraudulent accounts on my credit report. This is really damaging my credit worthiness. I am trying to buy a home for me and my family and this is not fair. i have tried several times to get these accounts removed. Let alone, my information was in an XXXX & XXXX data breach some months ago so I thought you all would protect my consumer report. I do not feel that my information is being protected. This is a defamation of my character, and this is a federal law violation. According to, 15 U.S.C. & 1681 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( 2 ) ( 3 ) ( 4 ) my consumer report fairness and privacy has been violated. I am upset!! I am depending on the banking system and credit reporting agencies to promote my privacy and fairness and they have not. This is not right and goes against my federal consumer rights. This is causing emotional and mental stress as of now. Also, it is illegal these companies should NOT be furnishers of people 's information to 3rd party companies, so this is illegal, neglect and fraud. I have already reported this to the local police department and Federal Trade Commission. These companies and the credit bureaus can get sued for these damages. This is negatively affecting my livelihood and putting me in a bad space. I feel your database is inaccurate and I am filing litigation against this if these items are not removed, immediately.

Consumer Complaint: USAA decided to close my accounts and prevent access to {$8000.00} demand deposit for 60 days. This results from some wire transfers I made which they determined were sent to a scammer. This is not for them to determine. All the funds deposited into my account were legitimate coming from government deposits from VA and SSA, a loan from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, disbursement from an IRA and sale of an automobile to a dealer. The wire transfers were to a domestic corporation. for legitimate investment as far as I knew. It was not money laundering or any other illegal transaction. USAA had a breach in XX/XX/XXXX lasting until XX/XX/XXXX. They did not report this to any of their depositers. It appears that {$7500.00} is missing from the wire transfers.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2022 USAA bank reported that I have bad banking relationship with them to my consumer report. I have never opened up any type of products or accounts with usaa bank. Because of this my business funding was taken back from me destroying a business deal that was already in the works. I am also unable to open any other account all due to this false report. I have reached out to USAA bank several times I did the verification of identification and someone was supposed to call me for three weeks now and the wait was only 1 day. I went to a branch which took me four hours all for them to tell me that I had to wait for account recovery to call me. This is messing up my business and destroying my life XXXX XXXX is the bank that once approved me for my funding and then took it back and XXXX XXXX is the one that denied me the opportunity to open up a bank and its all because if this false report from USAA bank

I immediately Reported to my Bank when I realized I had not Received the amount of dollar value I purchased. The points are there in XXXX, but the dollar amount is not there. I bought {$1100.00} worth of Merchandise Points and my Merchandise Points Value is only worth $ XXXX {$500.00} in XXXX XXXX. My Banking Company USAA is not fixing the Problem. This is after at least one employee understands the Situation and says I am Correct in asking for USAA and, or XXXX XXXX to Refund my money and Refund my Purchase. Now almost a year later and after trying to make 4 Disputes with USAA one Dispute after another Dispute. Nothing has been Resolved.

I hadn't noticed till a few days later due to being extremely sick. I had notified the bank the following Wednesday of the issue they told me they would look into. They determined due to the checks being deposited in my area it was my fault. Now I'm stuck with a negative XXXX balance on my account about to lose my insurance.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 I was the victim of a phishing scam. I thought I was buying gift cards for the CEO of the company I work for. I regularly work directly with him. XX/XX/2023 I realized I had been scammed for the {$1400.00} worth of gift cards and I reported it to USAA. My account was temporarily credited back the {$1400.00}. I provided screenshots and texts to support my report. In XXXX USAA debited the funds from my account with an explanation that I hadn't provided more information by the deadline given me. However, I hadn't seen the request with deadline. Once customer service explained, I immediately uploaded the requested information. Since then I've been on the phone numerous times with customer support and have received varying answers about the status of my dispute including completely contradictory and inapplicable ones. I've uploaded more information after I escalated my dispute, which the rep assured me would resolve it and result in my money being re-credited. All to no avail. XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from USAA that purported to explain the dispute resolution but literally says nothing of the sort. I've been a USAA member for 48 years and am about to switch to another bank over this. I've attached documentation. Thank you for your help.

Consumer Complaint: My bank, USAA federal Savings Bank mishandled my IRS tax return. My return was filed as direct deposit through USAA Automated Clearing House. The direct deposit account was incorrect as one number was omitted making the account number 7 numbers. My account number is 8 numbers. USAA agent said the deposit would be returned to IRS as the account number did not match the name of the recipient, which is me ( IRS sends name, routing number, and account number with ACH direct deposits ). This did not happen. i talked to XXXX customer service and Membership Resolution team members for the last XXXX weeks with no results. USAA Retail Banking Operations sent three " Dispute Resolution Concluded " notices claiming they had made the deposit as instructed and said to contact the sender IRS. IRS does not agree and said the issue must be resolved by the bank, USAA. My Congressional office also agrees USAA should resolve the issue. To date contact with USAA ACH department has been attempted by email, phone, and mail with no results. USAA should have matched the deposit number with the recipient name and they did not do this. Rules concerning federal ACH deposits clearly state this.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday, XX/XX/2023, I was attempting to transfer {$1400.00} from my checking account at USAA into my savings account. I accidentally transferred it to an account owned by XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX which had not been used in 10 years. I called USAA as soon as the mistake was made and they opened a dispute. I received a letter stating that they attempted to contact XXXX XXXX and retrieve the funds and had been unable to do so. I explained that I currently lived in Alabama and no services had been rendered so I needed the money, which was my XXXX XXXX disbursement to be returned. USAA said there was nothing they could do at this time. The letter states to contact the person and request a refund but I have no updated contact information and have been unable to contact her on social media.
