Consumer Complaint: My mortgage is with USAA and I live in XXXX XXXX XXXX. New York is under a state of emergency due to XXXX. Governor XXXX XXXX approved a 90 mortgage deferment for New York. I called USAA and they have explained that the 90 day deferment is in effect in their systems. However, what was explained is that after the 90 day deferment, there will be a balloon payment due for three months which in my case would be {$8300.00}. The {$8300.00} will be due on XX/XX/2020 ( after 3 months ). The logical thing to do is to put the amount owed towards the end of the loan/at maturity. It does not make sense that there will be a balloon payment due after three months. New York is under a state of emergency, how can one participate in such a program where a huge balloon payment will be due after three months? The proper solution would be to take the amount and add the amount at maturity.

Consumer Complaint: Debt collection company contacted family members in regards to " Locate me ''. Yes, they have tried to contact me an I have not returned there calls but my phone number has always been the same and not disconnected with the same voice stating that you have reached me. The company specifically named it self to my family members, not stating that they are trying to collect a debt but that can be changed with one XXXX search away. How are debt collection companies able to research this information and contact third party 's without there consent? Family members are now worried that there information has been comprised.

Consumer Complaint: Note : The initial questioning does not suit my scenario, therefore I place any answer to move forward. I would suggest other means of finding the issue of the complainant, such as a direct question. To : Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XX/XX/XXXX From : XXXX XXXX XXXX To whom it may concern, I am making a complaint in reference to property claim dispute with USAA insurance. I have been working on this claim over a year. I first noticed the damage to the home in XX/XX/XXXX. I was in school in XXXX, Tennessee at the time. One weekend I came home to check my mail and I had to immediately return school, because I was working as an XXXX in the mornings and attending school in the evening. I witnessed the wind blow my roof shingles up in the air like a sheet being tossed to and fro when one attempts to make their bed. It was raining at the time too. I did not have time to contact USAA and follow the complaint. I submitted the complaint when I finished school in XXXX. The actual date may be in XXXX or XXXX of XXXX. I had considerable mail to police and work to do to put my house in order, literally. I have health issues that needed to be attended to and I was working with VA to get those taken care of. I had a XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) and they are currently working to help with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, so my ability to get around is severely hampered. The issues with the claims are the inspector ( s ) will come out and inspect, but they do not report or even return calls to me once they have completed the report. We would have to review each inspector separately. The final inspector did make his report after my call to USAA. He admitted they will only do what the insurance company wants them to do, which is my word against his. In this final assessment by USAA and their subcontractor XXXX states the cost of repair is less than the deductible, but they never include the repair of the roof, which is estimated to be between three and five thousand dollars. The damage they report is to the bathroom skylight, and the dining and living room water marks. The problem with this is water flows from the roof to those other areas, so if the roof is not repaired one would be wasting their time repairing the other areas. It is akin to placing a bandage on a gaping chest wound. I would have to fill you in on the finer details as we go forward, because the details are considerable and extremely important. Consumer Complaint: Called USAA earlier today, XX/XX/XXXX, to explain that I had been laid off work due to COVID-19. I have an automated draft of {$350.00} that should post in two days and wanted to know what financial options were offered, because the funds are NOT currently available in my account. I was told that I do not qualify for anything because they need at least four days notice to stop automated drafts. I was also informed that if I do not pay amount due in 15days a late fee will be charged and if after 30 days that I would be reported to the credit bureau. The representative placed me on hold to consult with a higher official. Unfortunately, the results were the same. No postponement or waiver of late fees after the standard fifteen day grace period, EVEN WITH COVID-19 situation!! I will never again sign for automated drafts with this institution!!! It turns into a curse!!

Consumer Complaint: I am being blocked from accessing my usaa checking account after I reported my bank earlier this month to the fob for stealing a funds transfer, from an external bank into my usaa account. Several weeks after reporting to the cfpb, usaa blocked me from online and telephone access. They provided a number for me to call and they never picked up intentionally. They locked me out of my account after stealing my money. Here is proof attached. I have money in my account that I transferred in and when I swipe my debit card it does not work. They are blocking me from the money I transferred in and stole it and locked me out from accessing the account, Through the debit card online and by phone.
