Consumer Complaint: My balance of {$15000.00} was set up to automatically be drafted ( ACH ) on the due date of XX/XX/2021. The USAA ( United States Automobile Association ) statement said it was drafted on XX/XX/2021 and a note which said, " Thank you for the payment, {$15000.00}. '' I checked my credit union XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). The XXXX statement said the fund of {$15000.00} was drafted to USAA at XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2021. I tried to charge the remaining balance for our grandkids XXXX trip with AAA, but the charges were denied. I called USAA at around XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021. I went through a maze of phone transfers and speaking which took over 1.5 hours. Finally, I talked with XXXX who consistently talked over me, and she would not let me complete my sentence. She informed me that there was nothing she can do to release the fund payment hold until XX/XX/2021 which is over 7 days. In this high speed electronics age, USAA 's system is antiquated. I believe that this is an unfair business practice. I would like to know if this is a part of federal regulation/statute/CFR/Act or just USAA policy. Thank you. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I notified USAA of fraudulent activity on my checking account in XX/XX/2021- they credited my account the missing funds, then a month later they said they determined SOME of the fees were fraudulent and SOME were not. All the same location and taken the same day. They notified me they were closing the account because I REFUSED to pay them over {$5000.00}. I called more than 3 times to ask why some of the charges were deemed fraudulent and some were not- I NEVER received a response. Now I cant open an account anywhere else.

Consumer Complaint: USAA notified me via internal messaging that my account had a security issue on XX/XX/XXXX. I called that night and they told me that everything was fine and that if there were other issues th ey would send another message. That week issued checks for credit card payments, children 's t uition and my rent. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed by my landlord that my rent check bounced, my credit card companies told me that my direct pay was not honored and my church that again my donation check bounced. I was fined {$82.00} for all of this and when I called USAA I was bounce d around to several departments and after 75 minutes I was told that my account had been froze n but that I was never notified. They froze my account because they thought the money that I se nt to my wife was suspicious but never told me. I was told that a service representative would ca ll me on XX/XX/21 by XXXX and they never did. I was told that on Monday ( XX/XX/21 ) after again on t he phone for over 90 minutes that all was okay with my account only to find out that my bill pay had been suspended. I want to be reimbursed for the {$82.00} fines and a letter drafted and faxed to me ( XXXX ) that my accounts are NOT FROZEN as none of my credit card companies will allow direct payment without it.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I ordered an official check # XXXX which was to be delivered to a landlord for rent. In late XXXX, I became aware that the rent had not been received and I contacted USAA to troubleshoot. USAA told me that XXXX was the vendor that they contracted to deliver the check. I contacted XXXX and in early XXXX was told that XXXX had officially lost the package based on the tracking information. I then called USAA and asked them to refund my funds because the check had been lost. I was told that a Declaration of Loss and Indemnification form had to be signed and that it would be 90 days for the date of the check issue before my funds would be refunded. USAA prefilled the form, I signed it and uploaded it to the documents section on their website. Within a couple of weeks I received a letter stating that USAA had rejected the form. Since that time I have called USAA several times and re-signed and uploaded the document several times but USAA has not refunded the {$1700.00} that should have been deposited in my checking account on XXXX. I spoke to a USAA XXXX on XXXX and I was assured that the issue would be resolved or that I would be contacted on XXXX, but that never occurred. I told USAA that I had sent replacement funds to the landlord in XXXX and that if the check was cashed it would be a fraudulent activity. To date, USAA has not informed me that the check was cashed. Instead they falsely claim that the documents I sent have no signature.
