Consumer Complaint: I was called around XXXX am to say that the gas and electric was going to be shut off. They had me go to bank account and to XXXX, to send the money. I called the bank about an hour later to tell them I was scammed out of almost XXXX! I did not know XXXX was a third party as it is on my banks website. The bank called me 8 days later to say they are not getting my money. I have to call XXXX. XXXX tells me they dont get the money back but will notify the bank used. They would not give me the bank name. This is absurd. I was scammed, called the babk within hours and nothing is done. This is why scammers keep scamming. They are not prosecuted.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I contacted USAA to report a series of charges made to my account beginning XXXX that I was unaware of. I was informed that a dispute would be put in place which could take up to 30days to resolve, but in the meantime the funds would be returned to my account. Since then, I have been following up with USAA given the fact that the money was not reapplied only to be told to allow " 48-72 hours, '' " someone would be following up with me, '' and as of XXXX. XXXX, " the dispute was not filed properly and that the completion of an unsent form is required. '' I was advised that this form will be sent to me via the site, which I have explained multiple times do not reflect the processing of my dispute nor shows the availability of this form. Today, XXXX, I have called once again to check the status of this dispute to only be returned to queue, placed on silent holds, and transferred without being informed prior. When asked to speak to a supervisor, as I have in the past, I was told one was unavailable. I have been a customer of USAA for over 10years, and during that time they have disappointed me in MANY ways, however, in those cases the disappointment was instant and not drawn out.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I thought I was hired by a fake company calling itself XXXX XXXX XXXX for a software engineering position. They sent me a fake starter paycheck of {$4900.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to wire to a man, posing as a company, to purchase and deliver the equipment. The money sent was {$4700.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and sent to XXXX into the account of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, again through a wire. I do not know if the thief is posing as him or affiliated with him in any way. But because the paycheck is fake, this will leave me in the negative in my checking account. The deception was discovered that night, and USAA was called for a way to stop the domestic wire transfer at XXXX XXXX EST. A fraud report was filed, and a note on my account explaining my situation was put on my account. The wiring side of the company was closed so while the wire itself was processing it could not be stopped. The next morning on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX the wire was said to be complete, but the side of USAA that handles wires would not open until XXXX XXXX CT. I called as soon as possible at opening hours and was told they would attempt to recall it. At XXXX a transfer recall request was put out from USAA to XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The dealership ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) had me put down a 100 % refundable deposit of {$500.00} in order to " hold '' a vehicle while I decided whether or not I wanted to purchase it. When I decided I didn't want to purchase, the dealer tried to hold the {$500.00} in ransom for me to come in and explain WHY I didn't want the vehicle. I told them to refund it -- and they said they would, but only if I came in and told them why. I explained why over the phone and through text -- and they ignored me moving forward. I asked for the refund -- they ignored me. So I disputed the charge with the credit card company. They didn't ask me a single question- instead they just denied the dispute stating that I did not answer their questions. When I tried to call in and ask WHAT questions -- USAA subsequently could not tell me what questions weren't answered. BUT -- told me that because I ALREADY disputed it -- I couldn't dispute it again. I did not purchase a vehicle. The deposit was 100 % refundable. But somehow I cant get the money form the dealer OR my credit card company.

Consumer Complaint: I am ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) requesting that the negative payment mark on my credit report be removed. I've been a member of USAA for 23 years, and I have a strong history of making payments on time. However, through my credit monitoring service, I discovered that I was given a late payment mark. I was unaware of the late payment until XXXX notified me. I had never received a statement, email, or phone call stating I was about to receive this late charge and only became aware of it when it appeared on his monitoring service as a late payment. Once notified, I immediately called and made that payment in full on that same day. I'm not a frequent user of the card, and I traditionally pay more than the minimum, and I was not expecting to make any payments that month. In addition, I have never been late with any fees in the past, and I'm a loyal customer. In addition, this issue has had a severe adverse effect on my credit score. If my points are being considered. I request that you rescind this late payment charge and delete the late payment entry from my credit report with any credit reporting agency to which you report. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and your courtesy in this regard.
