Consumer Complaint: I was buying a product from someone on XXXX and they seemed totally normal. We agreed that I wouldn't pay them any money until they sent me a picture of the receipt, which they did. Once I saw the receipt, I sent the money through XXXX XXXX in my Banking app ). I transferred once for shipping and once for the product itself. {$120.00} to XXXX on XX/XX/2022 through XXXX for shipping {$300.00} to XXXX on XX/XX/2022 through XXXX as well The seller has changed their XXXX name and picture multiple times since the transaction Once they sent me a receipt and I payed them, my conscience kicked in and I researched the shipping company " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and things seemed off, but very in depth. I confronted the seller, and they changed their name and photo after arguing in broken XXXX. XXXX hasn't helped at all, my bank hasn't done anything either, XXXX can't do anything. I've filed reports with my bank multiple times, and I even filed a report with the FBI, and I haven't even heard back from them. I can provide photos and more information upon request, but they all have personal information so I can not attach them on this page. Please help

Consumer Complaint: As a result of frequent data breaches by various corporations, I set up as much multi-factor authentication as possible on all of my accounts, especially banks. USAA allowed me to set up facial recognition, but that functionality was removed around XX/XX/2022 as far as I can tell. To replace it, I set up biometric multifactor authentication ( thumb print ) and received an email indicating that I had done so in late XX/XX/2022. After a week, that authentication was removed without any sort of communication. I was able to set it up again easily, but it has shaken my confidence in their account security. I would prefer to use a separate authenticator with a rotating code, but they do not offer that functionality.

Consumer Complaint: I had a credit card with USAA ( XXXX # XXXX ) and during Covid I was not able to make payment. The account was then charged off and then send to collection. I made a settlement with collection and paid it off almost 6 months ago. For some reason, the account has never been updated. More I never gave my written authorization to USAA to report this account on my credit report. However, the account has been reported which is a violation of my right. In accordance with the Fair Credit Report Act XXXX Account # XXXX Has violated my right. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. which states I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : also states A consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my writing instruction. I want this account information to be removed from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: My identity was stolen in XXXX XXXX XXXX after purchasing a car. My information was used to set up a checking account and a credit card with USSA in XXXX. I have called numerous times to close the accounts and have spent hours on the phone. I have enlisted professional fraud services ( ie XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to assist in this. They tried to convince me to keep the credit card since it would damage my credit if I closed it and just transfer the information to me. They have yet to close the checking account after the several calls I have made and the promise every time to close the account. I am told every time that the account will be closed in 5-7 days, and to call back. It is never closed. They opened this account AFTER I reported the credit card as fraudulent and was assured precautions would be taken to make sure no access to my information or accounts would happen. The account representatives have given out my personal information, and the information of the people who stole my identity. They are not safe with personal information or fraud services.

Consumer Complaint: I have an auto loan ( as well as other products ) with USAA and have been a longtime customer. My auto loan includes a .5 % APR discount for having automatic payments set up. I recently needed to change checking accounts to a new bank, and when I tried to change the payment account for my auto loan with USAA on their website, I received a message that the functionality was not available. I then called their support line and was told that customers we not able to modify existing automatic payment settings or create new automatic payment plans. Which means I can not modify my existing automatic payments ( and continue to receive the rate discount I'm entitled to ), nor can I cancel my existing automatic payment plan and create a new one ( and maintain the discount ). My only option is to cancel my existing automatic payment plan and then make manual, monthly payments for the remainder of the loan term - and receiving an effective .5 % APR increase as a result.

Consumer Complaint: I have read the CFPB website and it's my understanding on a closed credit card account with a balance. The credit card company must notify you 45 days in advance when the decide to change the interest on the balance owed. Im emailing today to get a solution to USAA in violation of that 45 day notice and to date no notice has been received. Usaa is changing my interest rate on a closed account and is not notifying me at all. Usaa is my credit card ending in XXXX. The account was closed by USAA a while back when i had covid struggles. Usaa company decided to close it not my request XXXX or XXXX. To my knowledge I have paid it continually and kept the account up at 10.9 % for years. I requested a good faith decrease in interest rate to help get caught up and was told that's not possible once its closed it was locked in. Usaa when I spoke to a repe said it will not go up nor down. Months later I get Two increases XX/XX/XXXX 11.15 % or XX/XX/XXXX 11.65 % it increased once more. I have received no notification of any kind of increase only way I can tell is the amount of interest increases on the history. I called the company a few times each time sorry nothing i can do. "

They were well aware that my entire identity has been stolen and used since XXXX as I documented with them by my former husband, XXXX XXXX XXXX and others ; I had to get another phone and found the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. Thats a significant time issue for them as Im still trying to get MY life back. Now, they refuse to take accountability for their actions which are against the law. This is already at the US DOJ level and since they are aware of this, are not cooperating accordingly with federal laws and regulations.
