Consumer Complaint: I tried to deposit several checks via a mobile app. XXXX XX/XX/2022. I fat fingered some of the $ amounts. My account got locked. I called the next day and their techie dept got it reopened. I then received an intent to close my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I called and spoke to a supervisor ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX and told her to just close the account and mail me a check. She said she'd make the request and it would take 3 days to process. I never got the check and called again today. ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I was told they have not yet formally closed my account and could not release my money. ( spoke to XXXX and was tranfered to XXXX in member resolution ). XXXX states they can lock up and hold my monies XXXX for 60 days while they decide what they're doing, even though XXXX confirmed USAA has already determined to close it in the coming days, they still wont release my monies until they officially close the account in the coming days. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXXXX/XX/23 I deposited a check for {$22000.00} through mobile deposit. The account showed the entire amount was immediately available. I called USAA to verify this and once it was verified, I initiated a wire transfer for {$18000.00} to pay for a business I am in the process of buying. Over the weekend on XX/XX/23, I received a call saying the check was being looked at for fraud. As this check was issued by XXXX and came from a XXXX loan I took, I explained the situation to USAA and after several hours of going back and forth, I was told the problem was resolved. On XX/XX/23 the wire went out as scheduled. On XX/XX/23 the wire was withdrawn from the receiving bank by USAA. When I called to get it fixed, USAA indicated it was because someone did not close out the previous matter. They said it would take XXXX business days to resolve the issue and until then not only was the wire withdrawn, but my checking account was frozen. This action is damaging my personal and professional reputation, potentially my credit score, and my access to my other funds in my checking account.

Consumer Complaint: I hold a joint checking account with my soon-to-be-ex husband. I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX vet who is currently paying ALL the expenses associated with maintaining two households. I did not realize, when I moved my income and spending over to a separate account back in XXXX, that there were still payments attempting to come out of the account. Over the course of this time, over {$1000.00} in NSF were racked up. The issue with withdrawals has been addressed, but the account remains in the negative and I am unable to pay the joint credit card minimum, life insurance, etc. I have reached out to USAA to ask them to refund the NSF fees but they have declined to refund more than 3. USAA is clearly *able* to do this - they got rid of NSF fees on XXXX, so the fees are not something mandatory - they are something created by USAA and can, at their discretion, be refunded by USAA. Their choice not to is having a dramatic negative impact on my credit worthiness and ability to cover the basic household expenses I am required to maintain.

Consumer Complaint: i was going to pay usaa off charged off credit card that was XXXX back in XXXX of last year. they informed me that i could make a settlement offer for XXXX dollars. so the next time i called in, i found out my credit card account was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX. i called XXXX to make a settlement offer for half the balance of the credit card. they informed me that i would get some kind of letter of release and that my credit report would be updated to where it would say settled in full or settled for less than full. this is not the case. i have not received anything yet. now my credit report updated reflecting the balance paid but the account is still saying i owe money. it is showing that i owe half of what i already paid, which should just show no balance and settled. i called usaa and they said i have to wait 30 days to get a letter from them or XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have a USAA Credit card that was opened XX/XX/XXXX which I have never used. I have forgotten about the card and am surprised it was never closed due to inactivity. Regardless, I received a reissued plastic on XX/XX/XXXX and decided to call to close the account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called into the USAA call center to close my account. I verified all my information and asked the rep to close the account. She obliged, but got to a screen in her system that required her to update my " occupational information ''. I didn't think this was necessary and asked to simply close the account. She put me on a long hold and came back to say that she couldn't move past the " occupational information screen '' to close my account. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she could not transfer me because the computer was locked on the occupational information screen and couldn't get to the transfer screen. I have never experienced such difficulty closing a credit card account and would simply like to close this account.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a member with USAA Federal Savings Bank for over 25 years and every 6 months they find a way to increase my auto and homeowner 's policy rates up to {$200.00} or {$300.00} approximately stating some bogus reasons. I have to call and go through my policies to try and have the amounts reduced by reducing options within the policy. This has become tasking and USAA, with numerous lawsuits, have misrepresented themselves regarding. I shouldn't continue to have policy issues and significant increases every 6 months and every year to help USAA take more money from me unnecessarily. Now, I am being told, per my homeowner 's policy, I have to to just deal with their automatic increases, which is bogus. I would like to be able to stay on budget and not continuously have to be ripped off by such continuing increases without a legitimate cause. Please help and thank you. My USAA member number is XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I sent my wife money when we where on vacation through XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and 2 months later my bank USAA allowed XXXX XXXX XXXXo take XXXX dollars from my account when USSA never had any part of and on top of that they took it with a point of sail of XXXX my daily limit at that time was XXXX and they never let me put anything on XXXX XXXX with out declining it first as fraud projection. I have worked with USAA for several months now even showed them proof of XXXX XXXX not returning are money, seems like all the ones I talk to understand and want to issue us the credit but then when its turned over to next in line they tell me we cant open the claim back up. I have asked several times for the name who authorized the theft of out money but no one will reveal the name so we can call authorities immediately, I have exhausted every attempt with USAA and they do not want to deal with me anymore
