The landlord never received it ( we had successfully Mailed 35 monthly checks to him up to this time ). This check was dropped off at the post office for mailing. This check was stolen and used to open a fraudulent account at US Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX CA XXXX.The criminal used a driver 's license and social security to open the account. It was opened online. Once the check was deposited, the money was withdrawn fraudulently. XXXX XXXX, acting branch manager at US bank, acknowledged this was a fraudulent transaction on XXXXClaim reference # XXXX XXXX This Fraudulent transaction has been reported to XXXX at XXXX XXXX Fraud Dept . XXXX, claim # 2020 XXXX. This was report XX/XX/2020 to XXXX Police Dept, and to XXXX County DA office XX/XX/2020 We have met with resistance getting reimbursed from either Bank. Consumer Complaint: I changed my address with unemployment and it changed the address on my card and so USBank Reliacard blocked my card, saying they were not sure if it was fraud. Said I had to send in state ID and selfie i have been doing that for 4 days and they keep saying they have not received it or there system is down, I have had a couple agents tell me they received them, then they say no they did not receive them .I have uploaded them through the site they gave me, I have also uploaded through there document center, and also faxed them there is quite a bit of money on the can not use or even touch. And when it is unlocked I will barely be able to do anything because of all the restrictions they have put on it, I have a XXXX old who does not understand my card is locked. All she wants is to know why I can't buy groceries and other things she needs. This is the most trouble i have ever had with a card and I will be finding another card company for unemployment that won't block my card like this.

Consumer Complaint: In 2011 my husband and I paid off our US Bank vehicle loan # XXXX. We mistakenly did not follow-up with the bank when we did not receive the released title. US Bank is now saying they have lost the title and are refusing to provide a release of lien so we can apply for a duplicate title. My husband and I have spoken to FIVE people at US Bank and they all claim they are working on providing this letter by the most recent representative admitted NOTHING was noted in the file. It's been over two weeks and I am beyond frustrated. My position is my husband and I signed a contract with the bank and we fulfilled our obligations by making the payments and the bank, in refusing to provide a release of lien, is effectively stealing our property. I would like to know if there is a remedy available through your office or if our only recourse is a civil action?

Consumer Complaint: In 2020 of XXXX I contacted US BANK and was placed on a program for covid relief so I would / my companies would not be accruing interest and with a no pay status for X amount of months. I have hundreds of hours on the phone and have made no progress with any of the banks representatives to resolve the situation. They are making it impossible. Before this I had an XXXX credit score and because of the lack of help from the bank its down to XXXX. Same scenario for multiple accounts. I am hung up on / disconnected calls from the bank every time. ie ; on the phone for 4-6 hours a day transferred to multiple representatives that I have to re explain the scenario to. They do not and will not do their job, or honor the promise in the programs I was placed into. They have all calls recorded and Im being light about saying I have over 300 hours in phone time without the bank resolving anything in the last year.

We had paid the card off and even got online to check and it said nothing due account all caught up. So we said we were gon na hang up and call the bank ourselves and verify. She then gave us a number for us to call us bank but apon doing a XXXX search the number took you to a page that no longer exists. We called the bank and they verified we owed no debt and said it was a scam. We called the number back and it said thank you for calling card member services. The numbers are XXXX & XXXX. Thanks

I purchased this property in XX/XX/XXXX. Since that time, I have made my monthly mortgage payments on-time, every month for six years. In/or around XXXX of XXXX, US Bank Home Mortgage not only stopped reporting these payments to the Credit Bureaus, they also pulled all previous on-time payment history. I was informed that if I were to refinance my loan then they would once again begin their Credit Bureau reporting. There is a triple/if not quadruple whammy going on here XXXX not in my favor ). First : payments are no longer reported ; second : all previous payment history is pulled ; third : with the bankruptcy, the pulled history, the non-reporting ... leading to the fourth hit : a much lower credit score ... will US Bank now refinance the loan as suggested by customer service? I tend to think not. No bank would. I believe/know, that this policy by US Bank is not right and needs to be corrected. Again, this is an Formal Executive Complaint. Consumer Complaint: I was charged overdraft fee twice for {$36.00} each on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX for insufficent fund. I was never opted in overdraft when I signed up for the checking account. Once I found out that I had a negative balance on XX/XX/XXXX and I immediately pushed money into my U.S. bank checking account and the balance became positive on XX/XX/XXXX pending final clearance on XXXX. Then I called and spoke with the U.S. Bank representatives for requesting to waive the fees because not only I did not opt in overdraft but also it was my first time for being charge overdraft fee. Both representatives said they cant refund the fees because my refund limit is {$6.00}?! I questioned why there was a refund limit in my account and they said it was based on my activities which dont make any sense to me. I had a recent direct deposit of {$3000.00} from my work. Also, for example, if I used my debit card to buy something over {$6.00} and decided to return it, I would have only got a maximum of {$6.00} back?! Both representatives refused to increase the limit and said the fees can not be refunded. That is very disappointing. I would like U.S. to refund the fee to me.
