I have attempted to dispute the account with the credit bureaus along with BB & T directly but they have ignored my request. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and I demand the account be removed because of this. Issue: Applying for a mortgage or refinancing an existing mortgage

Consumer Complaint: XXXX with is requested that the FALSE and incopetent claims made by SunTrust Mortgage are addresses. Attached is the statement that the mortgage was SOLD to XXXX XXXX in 2006 - that is a fact. Such entity sold the mortgages and notes forward. Suntrust FAILED to make an assignment in 2006 and failed to realease the lien which. Further they made various allegations that these were just investors and still held the Mortgage and note etc- Untrue the mortgage and note was purchased by XXXX XXXX. These were sold WITHOUT RECOURSE and purchased by another entity. Suntrust Mortgage & / SunTrust Bank & /or Truist has no interest in such Mortgage and has not posses a NOTE since 2006. The allegation that Suntrust can by law RE-establish a NOTE for a Mortgage that they sold without recourse is ABSURD. Further more fradulent Assignments to other entities and to NON existent Trust ad entities and investors which do NOT exist - is FRAUD Requesting a CFPB determination that Suntrust Mortgage can NOT re-stablish the Note on a mortgage which was sold in this case without recourse, which has moved from XXXX XXXX, to XXXX XXXX, to XXXX XXXX and various Trusts. The filing of ficticous and SHAME Foreclosure action on behalf of something that doesn't exist - see attached Suntrust would like to re-establish the NOTE - they are NOT the holder of a Mortgage or NOTE

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I was charged {$2500.00} from XXXX XXXX within two days, I did not made the purchases. The bank suntrust called me to let me know they suspected fraudulent charges so they open a case but then they closed it because they said I did business with them before. So it was not fraudulent, I ask them to show proof of purchase but they did nothing. So as of this moment not only they don't want to refund my money. They are charging me overdraft fees. I contacted XXXX XXXX but everything is by email and so far they keep reviewing the case but no action has been taken.

Consumer Complaint: On Tuesday, XX/XX/2021 our account was frozen we could no longer access any of our money in both XXXX XXXX and personal checking account. We have contacted SunTrust multiple times for answers they have not given us any. We have been told that there is no timeframe on when we will receive our money. We have not been given a reason why our account is frozen and in the process of being closed. And theres no way to access our money. We owe no debts to anyone so it is not a debt problem. We have had no fraudulent activity on our account. We run a XXXX XXXX and have no access to any money because it is all held within SunTrust. We were given no notice that our account was going to be frozen and then after will be put in the process of closing. On Monday, XX/XX/2021 our account was working and we were using it as normal. No notice was given but then the next day on Tuesday, XX/XX/2021 everything was unusable including debit cards and any access to account online. once again this was without any notice.

Consumer Complaint: I deposited a check to my account on XX/XX/2020, and I didn't know that my account was closed because I never received a notification before and that day I was able to log in a make a mobile deposit which it was accepted and it said that the money was going to be available within a week or so. That same time they called the owner of the check and she authorize it. After that I tried to log in to see if the money was ready but it didn't let me log in. I called the bank to see if they could help but they told me at the beginning that they had to investigate because and that they where to close my case once it was finish with the investigation. Later a few a days after I went in person to and the lady that helped me said that they thought it was a scam. Later days after I called in and they said that the case was closed and that the money was back in the check. A week a go I went to the bank where the check is from and they told me that they couldn't cash it out because the bank where i deposited has not return the money. That same day I called my bank and the lady didn't ask any info until I asked if I could speak to a supervisor which they told me that he was going to call me back and until this day I haven't received any call backs from them. It is really fracturing because that bank is not giving any solutions and all I received by mail was the few cents that was in that account and the letter that officially my account is closed but I just received it last week.

Consumer Complaint: Opened my account XX/XX/2020 and instructed the lady at the branch to use a promo code for a new account promo bonus. " SunTrust is offering a bonus of {$200.00} when you open a business checking account and complete the following requirements : Make cumulative qualifying deposits of {$1500.00} or more ''. I opened the business account for this Suntrust account. I was forced to do it in branch and the lady said she applied the code. Her name is XXXX and her email is XXXX so you can get in contact. She works at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The requirements for the {$200.00} bonus is deposit {$1500.00} in cumulative deposits in the first 30 days. I completed the requirements and it is showing nothing on my promos the last on the phone said and the box is not checked for the promo code. Q4 2020 Small Business Checking Reward is the bonus that was suppose to be loaded into my account but never was. The lady XXXX said I don't qualify for the bonus because I took the money out but that is not what the terms states. What the promotion states is that the deposit can not be made using a debit card credit and the account must maintain a {$0.00} balance until the rewards are credited. I made the deposit and still never received the bonus. I tried to get in contact with customer service and a manager but was never helped so I am taking it to the CFPB.
