Consumer Complaint: To whom it XXXX concern, To start I am a veteran, and what this looks like is veteran benefits fraud. I have had my benefit coming to a prior bank for 17 year. Then I stop it from depositing in my account because of negative withdrawals. The mental health placed the deposit in TD Bank under another woman 's name. And from the time the account was open I have not got a print out of all the deposit and withdrawals to the account. They, the phys and the woman calming to manage the account for me. Seem to be hurting me some more than helping me. At times the woman is not even cooperating with me about me getting my money out to manage my life. The latest thing is that I paid my taxes and filed recognizing that now I need to pay more. Unfortunately, they don't want to give the balance. The taxes paid reflex 's the amount of Va benefits I receives. The money is used to manage my life with my daughter and my expenses. Now I in line to go back to work minus the complication. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2023, I contacted TD Bank to dispute a charge. I called in prior to the payment due date. I then received a letter stating : " The disputed amount and any related interest charges or other associated fees will not be included in the calculation of your minimum payment due. '' The disputed amount was the only charge on the statement. I then received a credit card statement with a fee of {$29.00}. When I contacted TD bank, I was told that the fee was assessed because I had not made the minimum payment. I was supposed to pay {$35.00} to avoid the charge. The associate that I spoke with at the time that I created the dispute, did not relay that information to me. The letter that I received from the bank does not mention that either.

Consumer Complaint: The bank, TD Bank asked me for my account number or my Social Security number. They asked me in letter to contact them if I did not open up an account. I never received an account and I will not give out my Social Security number to an unknown source. Their nearest office is a few hundred miles away from me. I was told to get in touch with two credit agencies, FTC and the Social Security XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, In reliance on an XXXX ad by TD Bank ( attached below ) in early XXXXXXXX 2023, I applied for and received a TD Bank XXXX credit card. This credit card offers 0 percent interest for 18 months. I then downloaded the TD Bank app so as to be able to do a balance transfer, but each day when I check about doing a balance transfer, the page indicates that no balance transfer offers are available. I wrote to TD Bank on both XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 to inquire as to why I do not have any availability to take advantage of the 0 % interest rate for 18 months by doing a balance transfer. The only response I received, on XX/XX/2023, was a generic one, indicating that they would look into the matter. I have not heard back since. In my opinion, I consider this to be false and misleading advertising, and in essence, resulted in a bait and switch in order to lure me to apply for and receive this credit card. I refused to make any charges on this credit card because the sole reason I applied for and received this credit card was to take advantage of the 0 % interest rate for 18 months as had been advertised. I hope that you investigate this matter and determine whether TD Bank has been fraudulently misrepresenting the terms of its XXXX credit card, to the detriment of consumers in Massachusetts and elsewhere. Consumer Complaint: Let me first say Target has poor customer service. I got hung up on by a supervisor and lied to by a specialist. I will No longer give them my money! The company is going against my consumer rights. Violating US codes 1681a 2 ). ( i ), US code 1666b ( a ), US code 1681e ( b ). According to US Code 1681a 2 ). ( I ) report containing information solely as a transaction or experience between the Consumer and the Person making the report. My experience is the relationship between the transaction and the creditor or the person of the corporation that extends the line of credit that is used at a particular time of the account. Which is the consumer, which is me and the person making the report. Moreover, US Code 1666b ( a ) states A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Stated by the Internal Revenue Service ( IRS ) Instruction for forms 1099-A and 1099-C. A 1099-C must be filled regardless of whether the debtor is required to report the debt as income. Income does not get reported on your consumer report. Therefore, a consumer of a charge-off being reported on your consumer report is illegal because it is ordinary income. If a charge off is being reported on your consumer report it is not accurate and reasons to believe the whole account is fraudulent according to the IRS from instruction form 1099-A and 1099C. Lastly, US Code 1681e ( b ) explains, Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. This statement explains doing so will presume a 1099-C, that must be filled according to the IRS as mentioned above. The status of a charge-off is an inaccurate account and it must be deleted. Under 15 US Code 1681b ( 2 ) I am exercising my right and I demand these inaccurate accounts be deleted Immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I recently requested to close my account at TD Bank due to several issues with the bank. Even closing my account has been a true nightmare. To close the account I need a XXXX balance, and requested to transfer the funds to my XXXX account. The original transfer for the XXXX transfers below were returned due to a fraud warning on my TD account which returned the funds back to TD Bank. TD Bank then said they would refuse acceptance of the funds which were returned and send it back to XXXX. However, XXXX has confirmed MULTIPLE times and has provided all necessary documents and confirmations and even ran tracers across all their accounts, and do not have these funds below. I have tried reaching out to TD numerous times unsuccessfully. Nobody is able to assist and they keep gearing me to the branch they say it was transferred to XXXX but XXXX is saying they don't have it and nothing appears in my account. TD has not done anything to look into this further and just keeps putting the blame on XXXX. Ironically, XXXX confirmed via email this is happening for several customers using TD but it appears TD either doesn't care or not following their own process. They can not tell me where my money is at and it's not a low sum as you can see below. The below amounts were allegedly refused by TD Bank and allegedly sent back to XXXX. However, only XXXX can prove it's not in my account and I don't even have access my account at TD Bank. XX/XX/XXXX, Transfer {$6000.00} Transfer {$450.00}

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 someone tried to open a Target XXXX online with my information. They used my maiden name, my old address, they had my social security and my current phone number listed. I had placed a freeze on my credit last summer since someone tried to file an unemployment benefits claim with my maiden name. XXXX provided an incomplete investigation. I filed a police report for that fraud last year. Due to the freeze, the credit card application resulted in an instant denial.

Consumer Complaint: A Target XXXXCard account was opened in my name on XX/XX/2023. I received an alert from Target and XXXX on XX/XX/2023, alerting me to the fraudulent account. I contacted Target on XX/XX/2023 and they were able to verify my identity, close the account and recommend next steps ( alert CFPB and credit bureaus ). They said no charges had been made on the card yet. They will be sending me a report to complete and mail back with additional information they need in order to close the case. I have updated my email password and verified that my correct information is on file with Target. I have attached copies of the emails from Target and XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: WE OPENED A RESTAURANT IN XXXX OF XXXX. IN XXXX OF XXXX WE SHUT THE RESTAURANT, BECAUSE IT WAS FAILING, AND WE THOUGHT THE CHEF WAS STEALING. WE MADE TD BANK USA AWARE OF OUR CONCERNS. ORIGINALLY WE OPENED A CREDIT CARD IN MY NAME, AND XXXX CARD WENT TO ME, ANOTHER TO THE XXXX. WHEN WE CLOSED THE BUSINESS, WE TOLD THEM WE NEED TO PROTECT AGAINST THE XXXX. THEY INSTRUCTED US TO LOCK THE CARD, AND REMOVE HIS ENTITLEMENTS TO BANK ACCOUNTS, WHICH WE DID. 3-4 MONTHS LATER, AFTER THE XXXX HAD GONE HIS SEPARATE WAY, WE STARTED GETTING HIT WITH ANNUAL RENEWAL FEES ( NEGATIVE CONSENT ; UNLESS YOU CANCEL, IT KEEPS CHARGING ANNUALLY ) FROM XXXX XXXX XXXX, AND WHATEVER SERVICES THE XXXX HAD SIGNED UP FOR. I EXPLAINED TO THE BANK THE BUSINESS WAS CLOSED, AND WE WERE NOT RECEIVING ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, AND THEY SHOULD NOT HONOR ANY CHARGES. AFTER MONTHS OF BACK AND FORTHS THEY TOLD ME THEY NOW FIRST SHUT DOWN THE TOKENS???, AND THERE WOULD NOT BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES ( WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE FROM THE BEGINNING ) BUT THAT I NEEDED TO PAY THE CHARGES THAT ALREADY EXISTED. I REACHED OUT TO THE XXXX XXXX OFFICE TO TRY AND SPEAK TO XXXX XXXX, WHO HAS IGNORED A DOZEN EMAILS FROM ME TO DISCUSS. IN SUMMARY, THE LOWER LEVEL EMPLOYEES WERE NOT TRAINED PROPERLY, AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNRESPONSIVE. PLEASE HELP!!
