I want TD Bank 's XXXX FINED. and I want to be compensated for my time. the worthless site needs to be revamped, it doesn't make sense that a customer has to go through this. and you get one of their sorry XXXX apathetic apologies when you complain to them.

Consumer Complaint: I transfer some balance to my credit card and even though I paid off the balance off, they kept charging me balance transfer fees. Besides this, I disputed some charges back in XX/XX/2019, they asked me for police reports and extra paperwork. Two months ago I contacted TD bank to inquire about the dispute, they asked me for some more paperwork, I called today t inquire again, they said my time to dispute these charges is over!

Consumer Complaint: I have 2 accounts with TD Bank. One is in the negative which I was going to fix on theXX/XX/XXXX. Instead,. they have taken all the money out of my one account down to {$000.00} to cover the negative on the other account. They should not be allowed to do this because now I may have negative charges. If they are doing this to me, they are doing this to other people. They have no right to take positive cash out of my account.

Issue: Opening an account
Subissue: Unable to open an account
Consumer Complaint: This goes back to my previous complaint ( ID : XXXX ). After reviewing company 's response letter, I tried to call the phone number of that contact person but it always goes directly to voicemail. Besides, there has been no update regarding return my initial opening balance {$1000.00} back to me. Just to re-quote my previous description " I opened my account with TD through an online promotion webpage on XX/XX/XXXX and put a direct deposit from my XXXX bank account of amount {$1000.00}. The debit order went through my XXXX bank account and was transferred to TD account. However, since XX/XX/XXXX, I can not have access to TD online banking and was told there was some issue with my new account that I need to visit branch in person. But the closest branch is 3 hours drive and then I asked them to give back my {$1000.00} money. They refused and said I can not get my money back without visiting in person. ''

Issue: Problem caused by your funds being low
Subissue: Overdrafts and overdraft fees
Consumer Complaint: I am enrolled in overdraft services. I realize that I agreed to pay the fees involved. However, it seems to me that the fees I have paid over last 6+ months are not justified and in my opinion disgusting because they are taking advantage of my weakness and making my problem worse. The total overdraft fees since XXXX 2019 is {$4300.00}. In past years it was similar experience and I would complain sometimes and get a refund - usually a small fraction of what I paid in fees. Lately, I contacted my local manager XXXX by phone than via email on XX/XX/2019 - XXXX XXXX XXXX store manager at the XXXX, NJ TD Bank - and have been all but ignored and I really can not afford their fees. I tried emailing again on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX without response. Often, the fees are what cause my account to be overdrawn and then more fees are taken whenever something goes thru. For example, right now my account balance is - {$1100.00} and the fees I have paid in the 2 weeks between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX totalled {$630.00}. Also, if I go to ATM, often the bank will not authorize one large withdrawl. I will be forced to do 2 transactions which cause more fees.

Issue: Closing on a mortgage
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/19, I e-signed an Intent to Proceed notice with TD Bank for a mortgage loan. The closing date for this transaction was scheduled for XX/XX/19. My attempts to communicate with the loan officer and loan processor since signing the Intent to Proceed have been largely unsuccessful resulting in missed deadlines and a failure to meet the original closing date. Between XX/XX/19 and XX/XX/19, I sent 6 emails to my loan officer and/or loan processor and not a single one was replied to. Over the same approximate 1-month period, I left 11 voicemail phone messages ( no phone calls were ever answered immediately ). Only three of my calls were returned. I received a conditional approval on XX/XX/19 from the lender. I submitted the required documentation to the best of my ability with minimal to no guidance provided by the lender. Due to lender 's failure to respond to my attempted outreach, at no time was I aware if the submitted documentation would be acceptable. The conditional loan approval correctly stated the closing date XX/XX/19. An initial closing disclosure is required by XX/XX/19 in order to close by XX/XX/19. TD Bank did not meet the XX/XX/19 deadline for the closing disclosure. I was informed via email onXX/XX/19( the first email response I received since XX/XX/19 ) that the lender has not performed an employment verification. I was informed by TD Bank that a written verification request was sent to my employer on XX/XX/19, the day the closing disclosure was due. During one of the few successful phone calls on XX/XX/19, I asked the loan processor if any documentation was needed for employment verification. I was informed TD Bank would independently obtain the verification. As of XX/XX/19, to my knowledge the only item which is required to complete underwriting is the written employment verification. However, I can not confirm this is the only requirement for underwriting due to the lack of communication. As of the filing of this complaint, I have not received the completed appraisal, the initial closing disclosure, or even a proposed revised closing date. TD Bank has failed to display any good-faith efforts indicating that they attempted to close this loan on-time. Outreaches to the TD Bank loan officer and processor have been almost nonexistent. Outreach to TD Banks customer service line has been successful, however, the amount of assistance they can provide me in limited to what is recorded in the system by the loan officer or processor. As a result of the failure to meet the disclosure deadlines and closing date, I now face potential consequences of monetary damages and a cancellation of sale through no fault of my own.
